As a human, I should be miles away from any large shifter event. Especially the annual Mate Hunt.A hunt for mates. Doesn't that sound barbaric? Yeah, it's as bad as it sounds.Several packs in the area gather as their newly minted adult wolves shift. Females are let into the woods first and are given an hour's head start, just before sundown. Then it's time for the males, ostensibly thrown out to hunt down the scent of their fated (or chosen) mates.It isn't an event for the faint of heart, and it's definitely no place for someone who can't shift. So why the fuck am I here, running my little human heart out, chased by what sounds like an entire pack of wolves? Great question. The mortals were allowed to cultivate and reach for the Heavens as a balance was installed between the Heaven and Earth, all according to the Heaven’s Will. And yet, among the billions of trillions of living beings within the Myriad Unity, one seemed unsatisfied. “They are lying to us.” This man went against all known truths and contradicted the very gods. “We are in a false world! Mere pawns used to study an outcome!” And so in search of freedom and truth, this man committed the ultimate taboo. He rebelled.

On 1977, Voyager I took flight.

On 2010, Voyager II sent some rather strange information back to Earth.

On July, 2021, Voyager II lost contact with Earth four years before the planned date.

At the start of the 26th century, civilization on Earth was isolated and held in captivity.

At 10 a.m. on October 27th, 3020, humankind went extinct.

One year before the extinction, an ordinary youth

Harrison Clark from the 21st century travelled forward in time and arrived a thousand years into the

future. He discovered that after he died, he would be returned back to the

21st century.
