Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Arrogant Prince

Dra’Allam looked at the contract on his desk and clenched his fists. His wife touched his shoulders from behind.

" You know what you have to do Dra’Allam." She left those words with him and walked out.

He stood up and followed her out, both went to the vault with their son in it. The amount of salt on the vault’s walls has formed a thick wall.

Yet they could hear the terrified screams of their oldest son. The hallucinations brought by the Grieved were getting stronger.

" There’s not much time left, he’s getting worse with each passing moment." Dra’Allam’s wife whispered.

" It’s our fault you know, we spoiled him too much, we taught him others were not worth anything.

He played with the lives of innocents like they were toys, this is our karma, it should be us in there."

Dra’Allam didn’t say anything, after all his oldest son took after him so he knew she was right, he was to blame.

But he was too prideful to admit that, so instead of thinking what was wrong were the actions of his son.

He thought he should’ve done for him what he did for himself. Dra’Allam had sought out the fairies long ago.

His deal with them was to ensure no karma was left on him, he knew there were abilities that used karma.

Even though the price for such a deal was steep, it paid out well. Now, while his crimes were worse than that of his son.

He had no Grieved Souls on his heels. For a moment he thought about summoning the fairies again.

Then he changed his mind, the fairies can do a lot but even they can’t deal with one of the seals after they open.

The Grieved Souls cannot be dealt with using magic, not even the magic of genies so that plan died instantly.

The only hope right now was that foolish guild but owing such a lowly and weak organisation a favour didn’t feel right to him.

He closed his eyes and listened to the screams of his son then he made up his mind.

" I’ll sign the contract, call those brats, tell them to take their brother to that guild." He turned around and walked.

In his office, he signed the contract and gave it to a servant, this servant was a level 7 Dravel.

The Dravel were ranked higher than the Drallagal but lower than the Dragonewt, they looked mostly human like Dragonewt.

But they had scales over some parts of their bodies, had slits dragon eyes and two dragon wings but no horns.

Horns were a symbol of honour even amongst true dragons. Dravel were believed to be descendents of sky dragons or wyvern as some called them.

This servant bowed her head and left, she met up with the three siblings. Together they left with the oldest.

Since they were going to the black market they didn’t need to travel anywhere, they just used the tickets directly inside the vault.

It didn’t take them long to arrive at the guild. Adrian was the first to sense them and he and Annie left to meet them.

Around the guild, the temperature was so low frost appeared on the ground and even the surrounding buildings.

" My garden." Annie complained in a pained whisper. Adrian frowned, looking around then he saw thousands.

Thousands of Grieved Souls following this Dragonewt. " Maybe helping him isn’t a good idea."

He whispered, Annie didn’t say anything but he could see she didn’t look good either. The stress around the guild were closed now.

The people had escaped as fast as they could, those who couldn’t locked themselves inside their shops.

So much death energy could kill some of them even without the grieved souls doing anything.

Plus any corpse around so much death energy would directly turn into a zombie. Adrian realised this Dragonewt prince was messed up.

" Come in." Annie invited them in but her voice was cold and they could see that too.

" How dare you show such attitude, do you know who I am? You should be grateful just to be in my presence you lowly worm."

The entire guild stood still, the mercenaries gulped. The already cold surroundings turned even colder.

Everybody watched as Adrian’s hair turned silver and so did his eyes. Boom, a sound like a beating drum echoed.

The moment it did they all saw the illusion of an endless moon in their heads. The ground beneath Adrian’s feet cracked.

Just as he was about to attack he felt a hand grab his arm. He looked down and Annie shook her head.

Then she turned towards the Dragonewt prince. She ignored him and addressed the other two siblings.

" If he speaks to anybody else like that, we won’t hesitate to kick him out, this is not his house, he best remember that." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

The Dragonewt prince gritted his teeth, he was about to speak when his younger brother grabbed his shoulder.

The youngest of them hid behind his sister, he was scared of Adrian after what happened last time.

Adrian walked towards the oldest, they stood face to face. Both men were tall and had lean muscles.

They looked like Gods who descended upon the mortal world. Adrian leaned closer, " If you talk to my woman like that again, those ghosts will the least of your worries."

The Dragonewt’s eyes turned cold, " Are yo7 threatening you lo..." His sister hit the back of his head before he could finish his sentence.

Adrian was fuming, he could feel himself almost losing control, even though this guy was definitely stronger.

Adrian had every intention to fight him to the death, if Annie hadn’t stopped him they would be duking it out right now.

Dra’Sul bowed her head, " I apologise for my brother’s actions, I know he’s arrogant and impulsive but deep down he is a good person?"

Even as she said that, it was obvious she didn’t believe it herself. Everybody looked behind them.

" I think those poor souls behind you would suggest otherwise. Normally the guild would hunt down such monsters but we had a deal."

It was obvious to everybody who Annie meant by monster but he didn’t retort, it seemed Dra’allu got through to him.

" You’ll learn to respect the people trying to save your pathetic life, you can come inside." She invited them in again.
