Fleeing from Konoha
Chapter 817 - 22: Ichihime
What a boring class.
This sentiment has crossed my mind more than once.
For someone like me, with a photographic memory and an exceptional talent for learning, Ichi thought this method of teaching wasn’t going to teach her anything useful.
Whether it was the compulsory philosophy courses, history, or ninjutsu knowledge meant for survival, it was all a breeze for her.
Watching the Jonin teacher, still diligently teaching at the podium, Ichi absentmindedly twirled her pencil with one hand while resting her chin on the other, looking out at the playground through the window.
There were many upperclassmen there, engaged in outdoor training.
The Ninja School is completely closed off, and it’s the only one in the Land of Demons, set in the First Military Region, offering the highest and the most stringent military training.
Embedding all kinds of knowledge into the very genes of each student to nurture their growth.
Though it’s enclosed, Ninja School also has a vast area, currently accommodating about a thousand teachers and students.
There are nine grades in total, with each grade having about a hundred and some students, divided into five classes.
They adopt a small-class elite teaching style.
The teachers are mainly Chunin and Jonin, but there are also non-ninja teachers responsible for teaching subjects like math, biology, history, and other non-ninja courses.
Yet, no matter the subject, it’s too easy for her.
It’s as natural as eating and drinking, resulting in Ichi never feeling a sense of accomplishment and wanting to break free from this prison-like school as soon as possible...
Just thinking about her father made Ichi breathe a sigh of relief.
Insisting that one must study for nine years, though he’s not even thirty, he’s already nagging like a sixty-year-old man, all fussy.
At home, he’s overpowered by two women, only able to showcase his so-called paternal authority to his children.
Thinking this way, the old man is quite pitiable after all.
Similarly, Raidenmaru, who frequently gets his territory taken, also seems pitiable.
Already tired of the scenery outside, Ichi quietly turned her head back.
Sitting next to her is her twin brother, Uchiha Asuka, looking every bit the model student, straight-backed, taking class notes diligently.
Though she really wanted to tease her brother in moments like this, she thought better of it, as doing so might embarrass him in front of everyone.
No, her brother being embarrassed is a sight only she should enjoy.
That was something she’d long since decided.
Having been at this school for over a year now, she’s technically a second grader.
With outstanding grades across all subjects, she held the top spot in her grade.
In contrast, her brother Asuka’s grades seemed quite average, not bad in ninja-related subjects, but neither could they be called excellent.
Despite trying very hard, as a ninja, it seems this was the best result he could achieve.
Ichi had her doubts about her brother Asuka being able to shoulder the great responsibility for the Uchiha Clan of the Land of Demons in the future.
But about such matters, Ichi felt there wasn’t much need for her to worry.
She’s the woman who will inherit everything from the old man. Regardless of Uchiha, Hyuga, or Uzumaki, they will all bow down to her.
With this goal in mind, Ichi felt increasingly that she still had a lot to improve on, improvements that couldn’t be achieved by just learning from books.
So, what color dress should she have Aya wear tonight? While thinking about fun things, Ichi hoped the school day would end quickly.

"Old man, I have something to tell you." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
After dinner, Ichi knocked and entered the study alone, looking at her father, Hakushi, with a serious expression.
"..."
Hakushi almost spat out the water he just drank.
He coughed hard twice and glared viciously at his daughter Ichi.
"I’ve told you not to call me such terrible names; I’m not even thirty yet."
"It’s just a daughter showing her deep respect for her father."
"What kind of respect is that?"
Hakushi put down the book in his hand and gave Ichi a helpless look.
"So, what is it this time? If it’s too much, I’m not agreeing."
Although he had given her lectures more than once before, Ichi was a unique girl, and Hakushi knew she was a ’troublemaker’ from the moment she was born.
Therefore, her mischievous behavior became a matter of course.
Luckily, she was quite well-behaved at school, without causing him embarrassment.
"A person’s potential is determined at birth, right?"
She asked a question unrelated to the current topic.
Raising his eyebrows, Hakushi seemed surprised by Ichi’s question.
"In a general sense, it’s not incorrect."
A person’s potential is pretty much set from the moment they’re born.
If you wanted to turn someone into a true genius, it’s best to start from the DNA stage.
Ichi is the perfect example.
Her intellectual development was unlike any normal person, and her adept use of Chakra far exceeded that of children her age, surpassing even many adults.
Without deliberate study, she could grasp things that ordinary people struggle with throughout their lives.
What others strive for with great effort was as simple as eating and drinking to her.
The results most people achieve through hard work have a very low utility rate for her.
