Chaotic Land

The 12th Order Monster surveyed the surroundings. The massive compound eyes looked for the trespasser, but they failed to find the human wizard.

Screech!

The Monster let out an unwilling scream. The coercion from the monster’s body spread across the place.

Boom!

When the coercion came in contact with the surroundings, it uprooted the vegetation and tall trees.

The shock force power was so strong. So strong that the surrounding area was swept clean.

If the coercion were to hit anyone or any monsters, they would have been destroyed long ago.

The 12th Order monster vented out its anger. When the anger receded, the monster gave the order to the other spiders to leave the cave passage.

It was time for them to monitor the border areas. In the blink of an eye, many spider monsters came out of the cave passage.

They started spreading in different directions.

Meanwhile, in the control room, I was looking at the mirror. I had underestimated the threat of the monsters.

An underground cave was full of spider monsters. Now that the spider monsters had left the cave passage, I wanted the 12th Order monster to go back inside the passage.

Then it happened exactly. The 12th Order Monster went back inside the cave passage. Seeing that, I waited for one hour before appearing outside.

I didn’t stop and continued to move forward. The daylight appeared. The area became bright. The terrain could be seen clearly.

It didn’t take long for me to reach the border area of the dangerous spot marked on the map. I found an isolated spot to observe the place.

[Ding! Wizard groups were detected.]

I heard the system voice in my mind. Hearing that, my heart was stirred. I didn’t expect to meet a wizard group so soon.

I calmed my heart. Then I followed the system voice to reach the spot. There, I saw a plain plot. There were makeshift camps and stone houses built using earth magic.

I used the system and found out that the highest combat strength was a Magic Lord Wizard. I didn’t know why they had camped here.

The Opal Magic Forest was located on the other side of the dangerous area. Then I went inside the Gregor Mansion and brought the Zero Puppet outside.

The Zero Puppet was in the form of red smoke.

Then I explained the situation to the Zero Puppet.

"Go and collect information from the place," I said to the Zero Puppet.

The red smoke then went toward the makeshift camp. In the blink of an eye, it reached the main camps and began to gather information from the wizards there. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Inside one of the camps, two middle-aged Supreme Wizards were enjoying tea. They were discussing their situation.

"Once we step into the dangerous land, we will come across a terrific tornado. A lot of Supreme Wizards have died because of that tornado," a burly middle-aged man said.

"We have to collect opal magic gemstones. Many hegemonic wizard forces are ready to pay a huge price for these magic gemstones," the curly-haired person replied.

The red smoke was collecting information. It found out the reason for their camping. There was a threat of tornadoes after entering the dangerous land.

The two friends continued to talk about the threats and challenges, not knowing that there was someone collecting the information.

"We have to be careful of Lord Morris. He may be the leader of the expedition, but I think he has bad intentions," the burly man said.

Hearing that, the face of the curly-haired man changed drastically. He said, "Don’t say it out loud."

He was afraid that Elder Morris would hear. The face of the burly man changed drastically; he realized he had made a mistake. Both of them then looked at each other’s faces.

"We have to watch our backs. Elder Morris could be working for someone else," the curly-haired man said.

The red smoke lingered around the place before moving toward another spot. There was a large stone house compared to the other stone houses.

Inside, a middle-aged man in his fifties was meditating. He was sitting on the flat ground. At the same time, he was using earth element magic.

He could sense the presence of people and monsters within a certain range. All of a sudden, he was puzzled. He felt one more person near the camp.

But he could not confirm it. The earth sense magic spell was hitting a block, as if some human-shaped rock was standing in one place.

It was a situation he was facing for the first time. He knew the importance of the Opal Magic Forest. There are many hegemonic Wizard forces in the world.

At least a few of them had their eyes set on the Opal Magic Forest. Each year, they sent an expedition team to collect opal magic gemstones.

They were one such team, but he was working for some other wizard force. He planned to ditch the team after collecting the opal magic gemstones.

Until then, he needed the help of the team members. He could not cross the dangerous place without their help.

So he was careful about not exposing the littlest details.

He made a decision and left the stone house. The red smoke was so close to the stone house, yet Elder Morris failed to discover it.

Meanwhile,

I was hiding behind the bedrock and constantly looking at those camps. So far, not a single person had stepped outside those camps.

I heard the system voice. The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I entered the control room to check.

I didn’t know how the Magic Lord found out about me. Then I saw a middle-aged man in his fifties appear. He was dressed in modern combat clothes.

But his gaze was set on the exact spot where I had stood a couple of seconds ago. My heart chilled.

"It must be some earth element magic spell," I muttered.
