Chapter 774: Infighting

Fuck... you’ve got to be kidding me. He was like medicine now, wasn’t he? They used him to balance their hormones, and it worked perfectly.

Luis laughed heartily and said, "What are you thinking? What I said last night wasn’t just drunken talk."

"I always respect you. Even after all that playing last night, I held back and didn’t do anything reckless."

"We’ve known each other for so long. This isn’t something I said on a whim!!"

Luis stubbed out his cigarette, stretched, and said with a smile, "You’re still doubting my words. I think you need a spanking."

"I’m not doubting you!" Bella sat on the edge of the bed, gazing at Luis with a soft, seductive look. "Nina and I both recognize your goodness. We’ve seen too many trashy men. Honestly, someone like you makes us feel a bit uneasy."

"You could have threatened us... and Nina and I wouldn’t have resisted, but you chose to treat us this way instead."

Nina said softly beside him, "We thought we would never accept a man in our entire lives. But now, we feel that if we didn’t accept you..."

"Or if you didn’t want us, we would regret it for the rest of our lives."

"We are lesbians. We don’t like men... but you are someone we both acknowledge and could love for a lifetime."

"Thank you!"

"I still say the same thing. I respect you, so if you have any grievances or thoughts, remember to tell me."

Tender moments shouldn’t be overly erotic, since the path of future conditioning was still long ahead.

Even if he was hard, even if they had stunning looks and equally captivating bodies, Luis didn’t lose his head. He held them and only kissed their faces.

Mainly because it was daytime; once their rationality returned, they would have their own affairs to handle and would need to think about how to navigate their relationship. Pushing them further at this point would be suicidal.

And it proved that this strategy was correct. Bella and Nina got up and began selecting their clothes.

Bella dressed in designer brands, exuding an elegant aura. When her expression turned cold, she was as icy as frost, radiating an oppressive presence.

Nina still wore the secretary’s suit skirt, which accentuated her perfect curves and made her an utterly irresistible enchantress.

"There’s no clothes for you here... Should I have someone wash yours now?"

"No need. I’ll just wear yesterday’s clothes."

Luis got up and put on his clothes from the previous day. Bella looked at him guiltily. "I know you’re not pretentious, but your wife’s family is very gentle and takes excellent care of you."

"Wearing old clothes like this makes me feel a bit bad."

"Don’t be so dramatic!" Luis said with a chuckle as he finished dressing. "You’re busy. Next time, have Nina take you shopping and buy me some clothes. That’ll settle it."

After they had dressed each other, they made their way straight to the breakfast section in the hotel lobby.

The five-star hotel provided a complimentary breakfast buffet for every guest. The environment was indeed quite nice, though the free offerings were still rather homely.

They had combinations like sandwiches, eggs, and milk—essentially what they were used to abroad, with perhaps some fruit and steamed buns added at most.

Luis, however, only drank spicy hot soup and ate fried rice. No matter how one looked at it, it felt out of place in such an upscale establishment.

"Yanran gave me a call, saying that your mother-in-law wants the operating rights for the other supporting facilities," Bella said softly while eating her breakfast. "The Leon family has completely withdrawn from Tiger Real Estate. Even though I’m still your nominal wife, it would be somewhat inappropriate for me to rashly get involved in this matter."

"Actually, I just wanted to hear your opinion!!!"

Minda was an absolute schemer. Currently, the largest shareholder in the property was her mother-in-law, Ruth.

Even her ultimate mission—the reward for her dream of becoming a landlady—had been revoked.

By using her mother-in-law’s name to make this request, Bella found it hard to refuse.

"Here’s what we’ll do."

Luis said casually, "I know you want to compete with your brother Leok on your own. But let’s think differently. If you fight against an idiot, he’ll drag you down to his level and then beat you with his experience."

"I have no interest in these matters, as you know."

"If you want to fight him, I don’t really mind. But first, consider whether it’s worth it."

Bella was taken aback. "What do you mean by worth it???"

"To put it bluntly, you women are mine. Speaking objectively, do you think I would watch you suffer such losses now?"

Luis said nonchalantly, "I’m not particularly chauvinistic. To put it simply, if you want to fight him on your own, I don’t really care."

"But from the start, your Leon family was destined to lose. Yet you were able to exchange shares and walk away unscathed—that was your foundation for survival."

"From the very beginning, I was already involved. If you lose, many people would be implicated, and a lot of them would lose face."

Nina couldn’t help but say, "Darling, surely it’s not that serious."

Luis shot back, "How many shareholders are there, and who do they represent behind the scenes? You both know that very well. At this point, is your opponent really just Leok???"

With that, Nina dared not speak further.

Because Bella had already fallen into deep thought, truly contemplating the current situation.

It was true that the Leon family held over 30% of Ocean Group, making them the largest shareholders. Recently, shareholders had begun taking sides, each faction offering their support.

In reality, Leok had garnered more backing. One reason was the traditional mindset—he was male and the eldest son.

Many elders supported him, regardless of whether his abilities were up for debate.

Bella also had supporters, though fewer in number. At first, she had none at all. It was only after the Tiger Real Estate incident that she gained some supporters, but strictly speaking, they weren’t many.

Ocean Group had numerous minority shareholders.

These were swing voters, each with their own businesses to run. Following the principle of not putting all eggs in one basket, they had invested.

In such businesses, you simply couldn’t monopolize everything yourself, so none of these shareholders were pushovers.

Neither Bella nor Leok could easily sway these elders.

Now the most dangerous faction was the neutral parties. As the siblings fought, each appointed their own people to key positions and took turns launching attacks, severely disrupting business operations.

Ocean Group’s most valuable assets were the Gestor Palace and Ocean World.

Their infighting was damaging everyone’s interests. To put it bluntly, if the shareholders united, they could simply force the entire Leon family out.

"I respect you. I’m not giving orders."

"I respect you. I’m not giving orders."

Luis lit a cigarette and said, "Bella, there’s a time for stubbornness..."

"I’ve been involved from the start. In outsiders’ eyes, I’m your man—that was your plan."

"Have you ever considered that if you fail, I’d lose face as well..."
