"You could have threatened us... and Nina and I wouldn’t have resisted, but you chose to treat us this way instead."

Nina said softly beside him, "We thought we would never accept a man in our entire lives. But now, we feel that if we didn’t accept you..."

Luis, however, only drank spicy hot soup and ate fried rice. No matter how one looked at it, it felt out of place in such an upscale establishment.

"Yanran gave me a call, saying that your mother-in-law wants the operating rights for the other supporting facilities," Bella said softly while eating her breakfast. "The Leon family has completely withdrawn from Tiger Real Estate. Even though I’m still your nominal wife, it would be somewhat inappropriate for me to rashly get involved in this matter."

Minda was an absolute schemer. Currently, the largest shareholder in the property was her mother-in-law, Ruth.

Even her ultimate mission—the reward for her dream of becoming a landlady—had been revoked.
