Chapter 389 - 249: Subspace and the Blonde-haired Girl
He wasn’t sure if that was true, but he would have to find time to verify it later.
He focused most of his energy on perceiving the coordinates of the subspace.
For the past three days, his Spiritual Power had been working to fully perceive—or rather, refine—the subspace Balenzuo had left behind.
The process of perception was actually quite simple. He just had to close his eyes and continuously use his consciousness and Spiritual Power to sense the subspace’s coordinates. As long as he invested enough attention, the subspace would grow larger and larger within his mind.
At first, Fang Zhen had only seen the subspace as a single point of white light in his consciousness. Now, it looked like a sizable white space, a box-like area of at least several cubic meters.
「On this day」
Fang Zhen left the camp and went to a secluded spot in the mountain forest alone. He found a large tree that looked something like a Bodhi Tree, sat down beneath it, and closed his eyes to begin his Meditation.
Today was the day. He had reached the critical moment to achieve a full breakthrough and completely claim the subspace.
Fang Zhen sat beneath the Bodhi Tree-like tree, his eyes closed. His consciousness locked onto the white cube in his mind as he continuously poured his attention and Spiritual Power into it.
Suddenly, with a HUM, he felt something change.
In an instant, his consciousness was sucked into the white space.
Fang Zhen felt an abrupt shift in the space around him.
His physical body was still under the Bodhi Tree in the Otherworld, but his Spirit had arrived in the subspace.
Fang Zhen couldn’t feel his own body, but he could see. He looked around and discovered he was in a space roughly the size of the master bedroom in a two-bedroom apartment. The space was perfectly square, and he had no idea what kind of power had formed it.
Fang Zhen surveyed his surroundings. Mastering a space of at least twenty to thirty cubic meters already exceeded his expectations, and he felt a surge of delight.
However, as his gaze swept across a corner of the space, it suddenly froze.
He suddenly realized the space wasn’t empty. There was something peculiar inside.
His consciousness instantly zoomed in on it.
There, floating in the subspace, was an object that looked like a crystal coffin.
Calling it a coffin wasn’t entirely accurate, as it was a single, seamless piece of crystal with no chisel marks. It was completely sealed.
And inside this sealed crystal, a naked, golden-haired girl lay suspended.
The girl looked to be only seventeen or eighteen. Her hair was like molten Gold, and her eyes were shut tight. Her forehead was smooth, her skin as fair and creamy as jade, and the bridge of her nose was high and elegant. Her complexion was exceptionally delicate.
The girl was completely naked, save for a few green leaves strategically covering her modesty. On her head rested a Thorn Crown.
The golden-haired girl’s eyes were shut, and she didn’t appear to be breathing, sealed as she was inside this solid block of crystal.
The crystal was shuttle-shaped and floated in a corner of the subspace.
Fang Zhen was stunned for a moment.
’The girl’s appearance was certainly perfect, and her figure was excellent, but that wasn’t what truly caught his attention.’
’To be honest, as someone from the modern world, what haven’t I seen? A pretty blonde girl shouldn’t be enough to leave me this stunned.’
What he couldn’t understand was why a perfect female body, sealed in crystal, would be inside the subspace of a demon like Balenzuo.
Moreover, Fang Zhen had a feeling that this golden-haired girl’s body wasn’t like that of someone from the Nameless World. It possessed a strength, a considerably high one at that.
It seemed the golden-haired girl and the crystal shuttle contained an extremely high level of energy. It was a level of power far beyond his current comprehension, but he could still sense it intuitively.
’What’s going on?’ For the moment, Fang Zhen had no idea how to make sense of what he was seeing.
After a moment, Fang Zhen felt his Spirit grow weary.
His consciousness was suddenly extracted from the subspace.
Immediately, his consciousness returned to his physical body.
Fang Zhen opened his eyes. He was still under the Bodhi Tree in the quiet forest.
Fang Zhen focused his senses for a moment. He could faintly feel that the subspace had formed a mysterious connection with him.
This connection was a bit like magnetism, but even more magical.
He didn’t know where in the universe the subspace was located, but by knowing its coordinates, a connection akin to a wormhole was formed.
Fang Zhen concentrated his Spirit, sensing the subspace’s existence and imagining it being pulled right before his eyes.
Soon, a coin-sized black vortex appeared in the air. It quickly grew, eventually becoming a swirling black vortex two to three meters in diameter, like a black hole floating in mid-air. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
The vortex connected directly to the subspace he had located.
Fang Zhen picked up a nearby stone and tossed it into the black vortex. The stone was instantly swallowed up and vanished.
Opening the vortex consumed a great deal of Spiritual Power, so Fang Zhen immediately severed the connection.
The black vortex immediately began to shrink, dwindling to the size of a teacup before vanishing completely.
’How magical!’
Fang Zhen felt more and more that this subspace had far exceeded his expectations. ’I just wonder if I can summon it on Earth, too.’
