A Farmer's Journey To Immortality-Chapter 452: The Bigshots Arrive
On the left side of the ceremonial stage, a group of golden-robed cultivators appeared.
They walked slowly and gracefully, parting to make way for a tall, proud man with golden hair and robes that shimmered like sunlight on the ocean.
He was the Sun Ocean Lord, one of the Core Formation Lords of the righteous faction. The sect master of the Sun Ocean Society.
Beside him, walking gently with light steps, was Siya Solaris—his daughter and the bride.
She wore a flowing white and blue gown embroidered with golden waves. Thin layers of translucent silk covered her arms, and her silky hair was tied into an elegant bun, decorated with pearl ornaments and glowing spirit flowers.
Siya's eyes were calm, and her expression was soft, like the morning tide. She looked forward as she walked, her face unreadable yet beautiful, full of poise.
After agreeing to Aksai and Haitin's arrangements, Siya had let go of her earlier bitterness about her arranged marriage with Haitin. Even though her childhood romantic dreams hadn't come true, it was still better than dying.
Plus, she would finally be free from her father's control. Although Haitin was a demonic cultivator, he had promised her more freedom than she had while working under her father's sect.
She even had the choice not to join the Blackblood Sect while still enjoying its resources. Of course, if she chose not to be a part of the sect, she wouldn't be given priority when choosing those resources. They would come from the reserved lots instead.
Still, it was better than working tirelessly for a sect like the other elders.
On the opposite side, a sudden pressure fell across the plaza. It was heavy and sharp, yet controlled. From the right, another group walked forward, dressed in dark red and black.
The Blackblood Lord led the way. His robe moved like a cloak of shadows, and even though his face looked calm, his presence made people sit up straighter in their seats. For some reason, he didn't look as deathly as he was supposed to.
'Hmm. The Blackblood Lord must have used some extreme medicine again. I wonder if that medicine has side effects related to heart issues. That would be funny,' Aksai thought to himself and chuckled internally. He was watching the ceremony from a distance. He had to admit—he was very impressed with the arrangements so far.

This wasn't the first wedding Aksai had attended in this world. He had seen many customs of the Dadangar Subcontinent.
However, the weddings he attended in the past were never this grand. Then again, he had been in the Lakir Clan's estate, where Spirit farmers were treated like slaves and given minimum wages.
It was hard to even find priests for the ceremony, so they would often skip the formal rituals. The food was simple, and the drinks were mostly cheap wine. There was little to no decoration. After all, who decorated their own Spirit farms?
In short, the weddings Aksai had attended as a young teen on his rented Spirit farm were made for the poor.
This was not the case at Haitin's wedding.
This was a real Young Master's wedding, with access to all kinds of resources. His bride was influential, too.
If Aksai had to describe this wedding to anyone from his past world, he would simply call it a celebrity wedding.
Next to the Blackblood Lord was Haitin.
He wore a robe of deep red with black patterns that looked like blood vines curling around his arms and chest. A thin spirit chain made of black steel hung across his waist, marking his position as the future leader of the Blackblood Sect.
Both the groups had their own set of people following the main participants. They were either elders of their respective sects or close family members.
When both the groups finally met in front of the ceremonial stage, the two Core Formation Lords stopped and stepped back, letting their children stand side by side.
Siya and Haitin stood silently, facing the crowd. A soft music began to play, coming from a group of Spirit Musicians sitting beside the lake.
The tones were gentle, made with classic instruments powered by Spirit essence. The sound was calming, peaceful, and filled the air with a warm feeling.
A ceremonial elder, an old man from Haan Di, stepped onto the stage. He held a golden scroll and bowed toward both sides before unrolling it slowly.
"Today, we are gathered to witness the joining of two families—one from the endless ocean, and one from the wild lands of blood and fire. May this bond bring peace, strength, and unity to both sides. We will now—"
The priest continued speaking about the rituals and the steps that both sides needed to follow, with the crowd as their witnesses.
The rituals were much more complex than Aksai had expected.
Then, as if realizing something, he shook his head.
'The rich and their passion for making everything complicated. No matter which world, some things never change,' he thought to himself and smiled.
When the priest completed his first round of formalities, a quiet tension spread through the crowd. Not the heavy kind, but the kind that comes before something important.
Then, the first of the main guests arrived.
A ripple of wind flowed across the platform, and from the sky, a man came flying down. His robes were long and flowing, colored in deep purple with golden rivers embroidered on the edges.
His landing was silent, like a calm volcano that had decided not to erupt. He stopped just above the ground before slowly floating down and stepping onto the platform.
This was Payum Purplespring, the Purple River Lord—the sect master of the powerful Purple River Sect. This was Aksai's first time seeing this big shot.
The Purple River Lord smiled broadly as he walked up to the Blackblood Lord and greeted him like an old friend.
"Haha! Blackblood Lord, you are still as grumpy as ever," he said with warmth in his voice, giving a respectful nod. Then he turned and gave a small nod to the Sun Ocean Lord as well.
Only after greeting the two Core Formation Lords did he look at the bride and groom.
"Young ones, may your union bring strength to your hearts and clarity to your paths," he said with a kind smile, treating them like a senior would treat juniors he had high hopes for.
Then, without another word, he stepped to the side and stood quietly with his hands behind his back.
One had to note that the Purple River Lord's greetings were very personal in nature even though it was an arranged marriage– a diplomatic way to bind two big organizations together. Even after the marriage was set in such a deep background, he had said nothing about strengthening the reunion between two sects with this marriage.
Was the Purpler River Lord not aware of the secret alliance taking place between the Blackblood Sect and the Sun Ocean Society? He definitely was.
However, as a part of the righteous faction, the Purple River Lord didn't want the Sun Ocean Lord to form any kind of ties with a Core Formation Lord from the demonic faction. Still, this was not the right time. After the formalities were over, he would personally meet with the Sun Ocean Lord.
Meanwhile, the arrivals of the Core Formation Lords continued.
Next came a figure dressed in bright green robes covered in leaf patterns, flying through the air like a soft breeze. His presence was calm, but there was a quiet strength to him.
This was Liyen Lowanfield, also known as the Green Glory Lord. He was the sect master of the Green Glory Palace.
He landed softly and greeted the Blackblood Lord, the Sun Ocean Lord, and the couple with quiet politeness. He didn't speak much, but his respectful attitude said enough. He then moved to stand beside.
A cold wind followed not long after.
From the east, a woman dressed in white robes appeared in the sky. Her face was fair and sharp, and her eyes were calm but distant. This was Dahlia Whitejade, the sect master of the Eastern Limiya Gate, known as the White Limiya Lord. Her aura was cold and aloof, like the stillness of a snow-covered mountain.
The White Limiya Lord floated down gently and offered a light bow to all the Lords present. Her words were simple, and her voice was soft, but it held power. She even managed to give a small smile to the bride and groom, though it faded quickly.
But then, a bright red light came from the west.
A woman in robes of crimson and gold came flying like a comet. Her energy was lively and full of charm.
This was Rose Redjade, also known as the Red Limiya Lord, the sect master of the Western Limiya Gate.
She smiled warmly at everyone—except when her eyes landed on the White Limiya Lord. A small frown appeared on her face, and for a second, her cheerful air turned heavy.
The White Limiya Lord looked back at her with a face even colder than before. It was clear that the two women had some history—old grudges that still lingered between their sects.
But they did not speak about it. Instead, they both played their parts with practiced control. They nodded politely at each other and then greeted the other guests like professionals.
In the crowd, Aksai couldn't help but swallow dryly. This was his first time seeing so many Core Formation Lords at once.
As someone who had stepped into the Foundation Building realm not too long ago, he had to admit—they all felt like monsters to him.
'Hmmm. There's only one old monster missing now,' Aksai thought to himself.
Just then, an oppressive aura spread across the crowd as the last remaining Lord of the Dadangar Subcontinent decided to show up—despite his recent deadly clash with the Blackblood Lord.
The Yaksha Lord had arrived at the wedding.
His appearance was still a shock to many, even though the higher-ups on both sides had already expected him.
