A few days passed, and Elma got in touch with me. I went to the library, and in the meeting room, she began talking about some houses they had found.

"I found three houses available for sale. Unfortunately, there isn't a plot of land available for building one from scratch."

"That's fine. What are the houses like?"

"I don't have pictures, but I've got detailed information on all three. They're all large, just like you wanted."

I started looking over the information about the houses. The first thing I checked was the location of each one—even though I don't consider it that important. I'm not too picky about location.

Though I do prefer somewhere quieter.

The first house was near the coliseum, close to the Hephaestus Familia's workshops. It's a great location.

I never imagined there would be a house for sale there.

The house was big, as expected. A three-story home, a massive garden, and 14 bedrooms in total. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, plus a few additional bathrooms scattered throughout the house.

There were a lot.

Besides the bedrooms, it had a library, two meeting rooms, a huge dining room, a large living room, and an even bigger kitchen. Or at least, that's what the document said.

The price was... Better not even mention it.

The other two houses were similar, with the only difference being their location.

The second house was near Babel Tower, but its garden wasn't very big.

The third house was close to where I currently live. In other words, not a bad location.

"I'm interested in the one near the coliseum."

"That one caught my eye too. I've already scheduled visits for all three houses. Tomorrow morning, you'll visit the first one, and you'll see the other two in the afternoon."

"Of course! Buying a house—especially one this expensive—is a huge decision. You need to check every detail!"

"Want me to come with you?"

The next morning, Elma came to my house accompanied by a man. After chatting briefly with the somewhat older-looking man, we were taken to the first house.

It was a bit far, so it took a while to get there.

It was the first time I saw the coliseum from up close. I was amazed.

"You've never been here before?" the man asked.

"It's my first time seeing it. It's beautiful, isn't it? And huge."

"Yes, it's an incredible structure. But now, let's get to business."

The man pulled out the keys and opened the front gate.

In front of me was a massive garden filled with grass and flowers.

The moment I stepped onto the garden, I immediately felt drawn to the house.

It felt like I didn't even need to see the other ones.

'I want this one.'
