"Core Bonding."

[Skill 'Core Bonding' has been created.]

<Glitch Point>

The moment Glitch Point was activated, three words turned red on the screen.

'A Dungeon Core.

Leon stared at it with a very confused expression.

"What the fuck am I supposed to change in that?" he muttered, rubbing his temple.

"...A dungeon crystal ball ?" Leon spoke in a low voice.

[Error: Skill's description doesn't match the Rank. Please try again...]

"Fuck..." Leon cursed as he stood up and started walking around the shelfs, thinking very hard for ten minutes.

'Is there a different name for the Dungeon Core or is it something else that I am missing?

What can there be-'

"So, goblins are F-rank monsters, huh?"

"Yeah, They are found in F-ranked dungeons only." Someone muttered nearby-and something suddenly clicked in Leon's mind.

'Rank... I forgot to mention the rank. Damn, how could I miss something that basic?' His eyes widened in realization.

"When used, this skill will allow the user to bond with an F-rank dungeon core, supply mana to it, and control it," Leon whispered.

Suddenly, the red highlight disappeared.

[Processing...]

"Haha..." Leon let out a small laugh but stopped immediately when people sitting around started to give him strange looks.

He hurried back to the dungeon section and slipped the book back onto the shelf.

[Description has been accepted.]

[Please select the chant for the skill {Core Bonding}.]

"Bind," Leon said with a smirk.

[Chant 'Bind' has been selected.]

[Estimated mana cost to use the skill has been calculated: 80% mana per use.]

[Cooldown has been calculated: 72 hours after every use.]

[Would you like to learn the skill or destroy it?]

"Umm... what the fuck is with that mana cost and cooldown?" Leon frowned at the screen as he couldn't understand why the system would set them so high.

[Would you like to learn the skill or destroy it?]

"..Fine. Learn the fucking thing," Leon said seriously.

[Congratulations! You have learned the skill (Core Bonding) successfully!]

'Now... Let's get out of here and try to make a dungeon! Leon thought as he immediately made his way down to the first floor.

On the second floor, he passed by Rita. They exchanged a quick smile before walking away.

'He's so hot and handsome... And he's a Velthorne student too. If only I had a chance to date him... I'd make him so happy he'd never want to leave me.

'Sigh... If I married him, my life would be set, Rita thought, watching him walk out the main gates with a sad look.

Once outside, Leon didn't waste any time. He bolted straight toward Vinceral Forest. 1

Exiting the kingdom, Leon didn't stop running even though it was hard to run through all the snow.

"What's up with that guy? Running into the forest with no weapon?"

"Some suicidal kid, maybe. Whatever. If he becomes monster food, the beasts get fatter, and we get more meat to eat."

"Hahaha….."

"Hahahahahaha..."

Two adventurers laughed as they watched him disappear into the trees.

After reaching near the Oak Tree, Leon checked his surroundings.

"Inventory... Withdraw, he said with an excited expression.

A screen popped up in front of his face. Leon immediately tapped on the dungeon core, and it materialized in his right hand.

"Bind," he spoke, activating the skill.

<Core Binding>

[-400 MP]

"Oh shit..." Leon's vision blacked out for a second, and he lost his balance.

He grabbed onto the tree, blinking rapidly as he felt his head spinning really hard making it difficulty to even stand properly.

[+720 MP]

But in the next second, the weakness vanished.

'Mana fatigue... This happens when I use a huge chunk of mana at once. Makes my body feel like crap! Leon thought as he gained his balance back and stood up straight.

[Binding to F-Rank Core has been successful.]

'Good thing that my mana regeneration speed is so fast now. Otherwise, I would've been miserable like that for the next thirty minutes at least, he thought, glancing at the notification.

"So... how am I supposed to-"

"I greet, my master." Suddenly, A child like voice came from behind.

Leon spun around immediately...

A small girl stood there-around three feet tall, her entire body made of glowing blue mana, almost transparent.

Floating at the center of her chest was the F-rank dungeon core.

"Woah..." Leon blinked at her.

"Master... Would you like me to create a dungeon here?" she asked, bowing politely.

"You're the dungeon core... aren't you?" he asked, still confused.

"Yes, Master. This is the form I've taken to make communication easier. Do you not like it? I can change into something else if you prefer."

"It's good-it's good," Leon said, walking closer and reaching his hand out to her head but as soon as he tried to touch her, his hand passed right through.

"I am not materialistic, Master. This is just mana," she said calmly.

"I see..." Leon nodded.

"So you can create dungeons anywhere?" he asked.

"Yes, Master. But mana-rich areas are better-I grow faster by absorbing ambient mana." She replied.

'Well, I'm mana-rich as hell, so that's not a problem.'

"Can you create one right here?" Leon asked.

"Yes, Master. Shall I begin?"

"Go ahead. Make it right here," he said, pointing at the ground.

"As you command," she said, placing her hand on the ground.

Grrrrrr

The earth trembled slightly, and a staircase opened up right under her.

"It is completed, Master," she said, stepping onto the stairs.

Leon peered down the stairs. It looked almost identical to the goblin dungeon he cleared the day before.

"Are there any traps inside?" Leon asked.

"No, Master. I don't have enough mana to create traps at the moment."
