The man said in a soft tone, "I am Dylan Rhodes, I didn’t come here to make trouble, but to see my son, Mathew."

Leo frowned and asked, "Why did you come in a sneaky manner and with a knife?"

The man replied, "I have divorced Mathew’s mother and have been doing time in the Eastern Prison Center, located in Daha County. Sir, the knife is a small fruit knife and it cannot even be cut anymore. I have only kept it to intimidate the goons on my way to the city."

Leo asked, "Give them the details of your son. We will verify and then proceed."

He stood up and said, "Kyle, free his hands. Zeenat, go back to guard outside Lily’s class."

Dylan gave out the information of his son as much as he could remember, and after a few minutes a teacher came running over as she nodded to Leo Cardinal. They knew his identity.

The teacher took a second to catch his breath and then said, "Sir, he is speaking the truth, we have checked his own credentials. His son is indeed a student in the school."

Leo frowned and looked at Dylan as he asked, "If your son is really a student, then why did you come over in such a manner? Why not wait till the school gets over."

Dylan shook his head and replied, "You don’t understand, I have a criminal past, I cannot visit him unless I have a decent job, and my wife has filed a restraining order against me. I cannot meet him when she is there, or I will be arrested for violating the order."

Leo sighed and said, "Get up, we are going to talk, and then we will arrange for you to meet your son. Come along."

Dylan was shocked, and Kyle walked up to help the former and said, "Brother, just relax, you are a man, acting desperate will just get you in more trouble."

Leo looked at the school staff, and said, "Let us gag this issue right here, it doesn’t make any sense to add onto the troubles of a man longing to see his child."

The people hesitated and Leo said, "I will talk to the principal. Don’t worry."

The people nodded and Leo said, "Kyle, take him to a salon nearby, I will talk to the principal and then come over."

Kyle wanted to say that they could wait but then he nodded, and took the man along with him. Dylan was still not in his senses and asked as he walked with Kyle, "Who are you guys?"

Kyle smiled and replied, "I am Kyle, I am a guard to President Leo Cardinal."

The man frowned, and Kyle asked, "How long have you been inside?"

Dylan sighed and replied, "Three years."

Kyle asked, "What did you do?"

Dylan chuckled and shook his head as he said, "I didn’t do anything. It was my wife, who did it and framed me for money."

Kyle looked at Dylan and the latter continued, "It was all because of that man, that bastard. He came to me, telling me that he would give me millions, but I refused to kill anyone."

Kyle sensed something and he looked around before he said, "Calm down. We will talk when my boss comes back. However, you better be honest at that time. He will help you for the sake of your child and that is all."

Dylan realized that he was getting agitated and this place was still filled with people who might catch on to them. After a few minutes, they reached the saloon. Kyle told the master inside to groom Dylan properly and make him presentable. Years in prison had caused him to accumulate a lot of facial hair, and this was not gonna help him avoid suspicion.

After ten minutes, Leo approached the shop in the car, and he came inside. The master was working on giving Dylan a haircut, and Leo sat down on an adjacent chair. Another guy approached him and Leo said, "A trim and a shave, then follow with a face massage and hair wash."

The second master picked up his kit and began to work on Leo. The young man did not have time to care about himself, and thus, he also took the opportunity to refine himself a little.

He asked, "Dylan, tell me your story. Be honest because I will back check it all."

Dylan had finished the shave and now he was getting a haircut as well. He said, "Three years ago, seventeenth of june. That was when I was convicted for a deliberate accident. The victims were a middle-aged couple. However, I was not the one behind the wheel. There were three people behind the wheel.

One was the financier, second was the accomplice who bridged the financier with the third guy, the driver.

The financier, he is called Anthony Primal, the accomplice is my ex-wife, Pamela Ray. The driver was her brother, Dalton Ray.

They planned it all, and because I refused Anthony Primal, they turned me into a scapegoat. I didn’t harm those two people that night, it was these three."

What Dylan didn’t notice was that the two barbers had stopped moving and they had taken a few steps back. Leo’s eyes were filled completely red, they were simply too scary for them, Kyle could sense that Leo was radiating killing instinct, however, he didn’t have the guts to reach out and tell the man to calm down, the steel armrest of the salon chair had already been deformed under his grip.

Leo asked in a restrained but hoarse voice, "Are you sure that the man behind all this was Anthony Primal?"

Dylan nodded and said agitatedly, "I will never forget that man, even if he is to be turned to ashes I will recognize him. I really didn’t do it."

As he said this, his face was covered with tears, he felt so tired and exhausted that even the spirits in his heart were wailing. Leo closed his eyes, controlled his mind and asked, "What is the proof?"

Dylan chuckled and said, "Sir, if I had the proof, would I be framed by those people? Would I have to leave home and give up on seeing my child? Would the son of a truck driver have the chance to study in such a prestigious school?"

Leo narrowed his gaze and asked, "How did you know that your son studies here even when you had been in the prison?"

Dylan chuckled and said, "The bus driver of the school is a friend of mine. He was the one who told me all this, the divorce was not settled till last year, and the birth certificate also has my name on it. That is why my credentials worked."

Leo nodded, it did make sense. He said, "Does your ex-wife love your son?"

Dylan nodded and said, "Yes, she does."

Leo nodded and said, "I will help you get a job, a house, a car, and then you will get a chance to fight for the custody of your child from your wife. The only thing that I expect is that when the time comes, you don’t hesitate to show your son what a monster your ex-wife is, and you don’t give in to emotions."

Dylan was surprised, and finally he turned his head to look at the young man and he was shocked to find his cold face. Leo sat up from the chair, he took off the towel from around his neck and said, "In case you are wondering why I am helping you, it is simply because I wish to make those who killed my parents pay. Anthony Primal, is a dog raised by Carole Primal, even if he is killed Carole Primal will not bother. Your wife, she will have her loved child taken from her, and her brother, huh, I will give him something nice as well. He loves driving trucks, right?"

Dylan gulped a mouthful, and Kyle sighed as he said, "Sir."

Leo looked at him and noticed the two barbers looking at him in shock. Suddenly Leo chuckled and said, "Masters, you two don’t have to worry, we are both artists in a play, we are just rehearsing the lines of a drama. Hahaha."

Kyle also chuckled, and Dylan catching the hint, also laughed. Yes, he wasn’t dumb, he developed his brain inside the prison a lot.

The two men suspiciously began to serve the two people while Leo began to think about how he would take action against Anthony, it would not be easy, but he had to do it. Revenge was a long game, and Leo intended to savor every moment on this field. He wanted to eradicate the Primal family and for that, he would target everyone. Carole Primal might be the son of the woman from the Luger family, but Anthony was just a bastard.

Leo was not going to let the man who participated in the death of his parents.
