Chapter 43: Just One Warning

"Is that it?" Atlas muttered suddenly, looking around at the people around him.

The darkness in his eyes, the bloodlust that decades of fighting had given him, was evident. The fear he spread around was unimaginable. There might not even be a way to describe the pressure he put on everyone.

"Do you think you can bully others because you are human? Are others inferior to you because you are noble?" Atlas suddenly asked.

He pulled a large towel from his inventory and wrapped it around the young elf girl’s body, not that he wasn’t angry with himself for doing it so late.

"Your blood has nothing to do with who you are. Your bloodline is only shaped by one of your ancestors doing something good or mighty. Empires and kingdoms, and the infinite bloodlines within them. None of the matters in my eyes. So I ask again, what kind of power does being of a different race or having a different bloodline give you?" freewebnσvel.cøm

The small-scale whispering that had begun to occur around the time Atlas’ words were finished had ceased. Silence descended on the place like a cloud of fog falling on the earth in winter.

"ANSWER!!!" Atlas suddenly shouted.

Many students around him were stronger than him. Some geniuses had formed their fifth magic rings, and even those who were close to becoming a level two aura warrior.

Still, no one had an answer. Almost none of them were aware of the real world, and they had lived their lives in their nice and warm homes, with their happy and excited families, with more food and drink than they could eat or drink.

These thoughts were just illusions to them.

When Atlas realised he was not getting an answer, he turned back to the young man on the ground and then looked at him and asked, "Do you have an answer?"

At that moment, the young man’s voice was slightly heard by everyone:

"Me---mercy..."

Atlas realised that the moment he heard the word, the emotion he had been feeling had officially vanished. He gritted his teeth and then asked, "What about this young girl?"

Pointing to the young elf girl with his hands, Atlas focused on the young man on the ground and asked, "What did you think when this young girl was shedding her tears in front of you and those two dishonourable women, while you tortured her and damaged her body?"

"You enjoyed it, didn’t you? I know you enjoyed it. I’ve met people like you before, I’ve beheaded people like you, you think the world belongs to you until the tip of the sword turns on you, and then you throw everything away and beg for mercy."

Then he reached into his inventory and pulled out the holy sword in full view of everyone and plunged it right into the side of the young man’s head.

"If you weren’t protected by the academy, I swear on my name, I would have severed your body parts instead of killing you outright, I would have done my best to heal you and put you through hell before I killed you so brutally. I would have forced you to make a wish to the gods, but I assure you the gods wouldn’t give a damn," Atlas said.

However, looking at those around him from where he was, he did not neglect to say, "He is lucky that we are not on a battlefield, remember that."

Then he removed the holy sword from where he had stabbed it and looked around once more after putting it back into his inventory.

While his nerves were rising even more, he only had to utter the following words:

"My name is Atlas! I am the younger brother of Eva, the Emperor’s bodyguard and one of the most powerful aura masters in the world. I have no accomplishments in this life, but I swear to you on my life, even if it gets me kicked out of Globe, the Hero Academy, if I encounter such an event again, I will kill you on the spot. This is my first and last warning to you."

With that, he took a deep breath and then reached into his inventory and pulled out several bandages and ointments, which he then threw at the young man.

"I abhor you, as a human you should be an example to others. As a race loved by gods and goddesses, you are supposed to protect everyone, but you bully others. Not to mention attacking elves, perhaps one of the three most peaceful races in the world. A disgrace to humanity." Atlas added, and then turned to the young elf girl and said, "Please let me help you."

He gently extended his hand to the young elf girl and then waited with his head bowed in front of her.

The young elf girl took Atlas’s hand.

At that moment, Atlas lifted the young elf girl and began to carry her gently. Even though he had seen Irene, Atlas could only shake his head and walk back into the building.

When a few students from the student committee finally saw Atlas, they seemed to realise what had happened. They only had to walk past Atlas.

After a short time, Atlas took the young elf girl to the academy’s doctor and left her there. The young elf girl’s gentle gaze was on Atlas even when he left the place.

Even if he hadn’t realised it, Atlas had gained a great admirer and one who would help him immensely in the future.

With that, Atlas finally began to walk towards his room. He was tired and hadn’t even had a chance to look at the things he had acquired from Perseus. He even wanted to observe the techniques he had gained the next day.

It would not be wrong to say that it was time to sleep now.

Nevertheless, these thoughts were over in a short time. When he entered his room, he was confronted with dozens of system messages open in front of him.

He was glad to see the old faces here, and he had to think about how to answer them.
