"Haki has attributes?" I look at Rayleigh in surprise as he writes the concept of Haki and his knowledge into the notebook. He looks up at me, noticing that I am looking over the notebook, and nods. Rayleigh decides to explain what he means by that.

"Yeah, a person wielding Haki has attributes depending on their usage. Haki is the physical manifestation of willpower. It can increase offense and defense capabilities, feel the other person's willpower to figure out their attacks, and overwhelm people's will with your own will." Rayleigh starts in a lecture mode, and I sit down, Luffy and Robin sitting with me too.

"Each person uses Haki differently, and uses Haki for different purposes. Their way of using Haki comes from their intentions or their mindset. Let's take an example of Shanks, since he is someone you guys know." Luffy sits straighter, listening to every single word coming out of Rayleigh's mouth.

"Shanks can use his Conqueror's Haki in such a way that he can control his presence, becoming invisible to someone with Observation Haki, and its advanced version, Future Sight." I look through the internet, finding Volume 4000000000, which was given to 3 million attendees of the movie - One Piece Film: Red.

According to it, Shanks has something called "Observation Killing", which works the same way Rayleigh is describing.

"Then what about Armament Haki? Are there also different attributes for each person?" Rayleigh looks happy when asking this question, and he explains the Armament side of things.

"If you guys know about Vista of the Whitebeard Pirates, his Armament Haki makes it seem as if red petals are visible, that is an 'attribute' of Vista's willpower." I blink, surprised. I search about whatever Rayleigh is saying, but there is nothing that even suggests this.

"How is it possible?" I am confused as to how this happens. If what I'm correctly understanding is true, then personality, intentions AND passions make the user have a unique attribute to them. This would make so much sense in the context of both Luffy and Sanji.

Luffy 'inherited' Ace's will, so him using flame attacks makes so much more sense. This world has a concept of inherited will, so Haki, which is willpower, might have attributes of others as well. Ace's Haki was described as fiery in nature, by both Shanks AND Benn Beckman in the Ace light novels.

About Sanji, he explains Diable Jambe as the use of his "burning passion", and his awakening, his Ifrit Jambe is him infusing his Haki into his new exoskeleton, turning his flames into blue flames. That might be the attribute his Haki might have, which makes sense. I didn't focus on it before, but I felt Sanji somehow using Haki during our battle with Zephyr.

"Simple, Haki is the same for every living creature on this planet, but not all living creatures are the same." Rayleigh smiles at me, as I nod, understanding.

"Even your Observation Haki has an interesting attribute. While Observation Haki is used when you add Haki with your sixth sense, allowing you to sense your surroundings, which create images in your mind, your Observation is like a barrier. Anything inside of that barrier, you sense it." I blink, knowing exactly what he is talking about.

Compared to someone like Zephyr, Aokiji, the CP9 and even Rayleigh, my Observation Haki works differently. I push my Haki outside of my body, close it like a barrier similar to Law's Room, and anything that moves, I can sense it.

"You can sense the entire world which is in your barrier. Honestly, you might have one of, if not the most powerful basic Observation in this entire world."

[LUFFY'S POV]

"WHAT THE FUCK—" How the hell is Shanks here? Who is the person next to him? When did Shanks come here? JUST WHAT IS GOIN—

"LUFFY, THAT IS NOT SHANKS!" The second Rai says this, Luffy calms down, ducking from the swipe of the Cerberus. Luffy turns to his opponent, barely dodging another one of the swipes. Cerberus is super fast, and hits hard from the small clashes Luffy had with Cerberus.

Just what is this?

"HITO HITO NO— RUBBER JET PISTOL!" Luffy shoots his arms at Cerberus, but Cerberus easily dodges that attack and then opens his mouth at the extended hand, making Luffy panic. Luffy pulls his arm back as fast as possible, but is shocked when a sword extends from the Cerberus's mouth, nicking at Luffy's arm.

In each mouth, a giant blade comes out, and the giant dog roars, rushing at Luffy with even greater speed. Luffy's eyes pop out of his socket as he tries to dodge to the side in a panic, but try as he might, he cannot properly dodge the swords. In a split second decision, he compresses his legs and then shoots them downwards into the ground—

"HITO HITO NO— RUBBER PULLDOWN!" As his legs are stuck in the ground, Luffy pulls himself down, but his hair is cut in half. As he lands, he realises it, but his Observation Haki senses another attack, so he fires a—

"JET GATLING!" At the Cerberus, but with a burst of speed, the Cerberus dodges all of the punches coming in front of it, closing in on Luffy. Luffy's reaction time is not enough to properly sense where the attacks are coming. As the Cerberus comes to stab him, Luffy does what a logical person would do—

"HITO HITO NO— RUBBER IRON HEAD!!" Clash with the attack head-on. Luffy hardens his muscles on the head to the point they are as hard as iron, and slams his head into one of the swords, surprisingly not getting his head sliced. The attack deflects one of the heads, pushing it downwards due to Luffy hitting the sword of the middle head of the Cerberus.

"OWWW!!" Luffy holds his head in pain, but as he looks at the Cerberus, it is pulling its two heads backwards—

'scramble' Cerberus detaches two of its heads from its main body, making them fly around by spinning its collars and emitting flames from the neck openings. Luffy's eyes pop up out of his skull, and the speed at which the heads come in front of him makes it impossible to dodge. As Luffy tries to think of something—

*CLANG*

Rai appears in front of him, three swords in hand as he deflects both the heads to the side, right as he teleports away right as an arrow comes to where Rai was, before turning away to a new location, with the weird chick with weird eyes surfing through it. Luffy blinks in shock, not expecting Rai to save him.

As Luffy goes to thank Rai, he notices Rai thrusting his sword at Gunko, who wraps her arrows around Rai, stopping his momentum. The sword tip is right in front of Gunko's face, while she stares at it unflinchingly.

"RAI—" Luffy screams, using Geppo to rush towards and help Rai—

But the third head from Cerberus is detached, shooting towards Luffy and—

*STAB*

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Impales him right in the arm, making Luffy scream in pain. He grabs onto the head, and inhales air, expanding his head before pulling the head back—

"HITO HITO NO - GIGANT IRON BELL!" Luffy hardens his head with Tekkai once again, pulling it downwards and slamming it into the detached head, making it get pushed down.

As Luffy holds onto his pierced arm, he looks at Rai, ready to help but—

*BOOM*

Luffy had his Observation Haki on Rai, so he is able to feel Rai's Haki being pushed out of his body, his sword acting as a medium, right into Gunko's head, pushing her back with a huge force, making her lose the grip on the arrows surrounding Rai.

"Luffy, use the potion to heal yourself!" Rai speaks in their party system, just as Cerberus shoots its head once again, this time all three of them. Luffy has no option to dodge, so he does the best thing he knows to do.

"HITO HITO NO - BONE BALLOON!" As Luffy exhales air into his thumb, his arm gets bigger, but Luffy transfers all of the air to the stomach, and exhales through the mouth, pushing Luffy outwards as he dodges the strike. He immediately gets the Full HP Potion from the inventory and drinks it, healing the pierced arm.

As Luffy lands on the ground, all three heads come behind him, but Luffy cups his hand and fingers, before jumping at the right time as the sword goes below him, right into—

"RUBBER NET!" The handmade net captures the three heads, as the swords are in between the gaps of the net. But due to the force of the head, the head still continues traveling, leading Luffy to the main body as the head tries to reconnect itself. Luffy thinks on what to do, but nothing comes to mind.

Any and all attacks are useless against this creature. The creature is outspeeding him, and it is only due to his newly awakened Observation Haki that he could barely react to the attacks. Every attack does no damage, whether it be amplified by the Rokushiki techniques—

'That's it!' Luffy's eyes widen as a light bulb goes off in his brain, remembering a technique he hasn't tried before. He saw Lucci doing it, and he knows that he can do it too. He saw Rai just use it too, and now all he has to do is copy Lucci's stance when using that move and—

"HITO HITO NO -" Luffy releases his grip on the three heads, letting the head connect back to the main body, as Luffy lands on the ground, sliding towards the Cerberus due to the momentum of him holding the heads. Luffy readies himself, as he imagines what Rai and Lucci did.

Cerberus's three heads start spinning like a Beyblade, making it rush towards Luffy who notices this. Luffy compresses both of his forearms inside of his biceps, gritting his teeth at the amount of force he is using right now. He angles both of his arms near each other, pointing towards the spinning Cerberus.

"- SHOTGUN CANNON!"

*BOOM*

Pure physical force erupts from Luffy's hands, slamming into the spinning Cerberus, making it get pushed back as the shockwave, which destroys the sound barrier, slams into it. The force is so powerful that it literally lifts the Cerberus off the ground, and—

*ROARRRRR*

Makes it scream in pain for the first time. Luffy collapses due to the stress of the attack, going back to his base form as he screams in pain, not at all expecting so much pain assaulting him. He tries to hold his arms, but they are shaking like he is experiencing seizures right now.

Rokuogan is the ability to use the entire physical power into one attack. It is similar to a one-inch punch, but this attack is much more devastating than that. While Luffy normally wouldn't collapse when using this technique, he compressed his fists into his arms for extra power. Due to this, his muscles and bones were strained, which couldn't handle the power that was pushed out.

A drawback occurred when the attack also affected Luffy's arms, making them tear themselves apart. Luffy tries to remove another potion, but his shaking hands are not able to move. Luffy looks over to see the damage done to the Cerberus, but notices it landing on the ground, sliding on the ground as it comes to a stop, spitting blood.

The Cerberus looks at Luffy in anger, and starts walking towards Luffy, making him shocked. That was his strongest attack he has ever done in his life, but other than drawing blood, it didn't do anything? How the hell is that possible? Why can't he do any damage?

Luffy realizes that he needs to get up, so he summons the inventory near his head, putting his head inside and picking the potion bottle with his teeth, pulling the potion out as he bites onto it with all of his strength, letting the potion go inside of his throat, healing his shaking hands, finally stabilizing themselves. Luffy stands up, not knowing how to defeat this Cerberus but not wanting to give up, determined to win—

"Your straw hat annoys me, I don't know why though. Answer me." The Cerberus starts connecting its heads with each other, and all of it absorbs into each other, leaving just a sword as the sword jumps onto the awaiting arm of Shamrock, who looks down at Luffy from atop a tree. Luffy immediately readies to fight, not knowing—

"You really think, you, a peasant can look at me that way?" Luffy's eyes widen, as Shamrock is behind him with his sword in its hilt. Luffy didn't even see, nor sense Shamrock move. Luffy tries to swing at Shamrock, but Shamrock just catches the punch, looking emotionless, pissing Luffy off—

The face slowly changes into a disgusted one as Shamrock leaves his hold from Luffy, trying to clean his hand by shaking it in the air. This pisses Luffy off even more, as Someone With Shanks's face is showing reactions that Shanks would never show.

"YOU BASTARD, STOP MAKING THOSE FACES WITH HIS FACE-!" Shamrock disappears from Luffy's view, as he stands behind Luffy once again, this time having Luffy's Straw Hat in his hand, with visible disgust.

"Now I understand why I felt the Hat was so annoying. It was one of the reasons why my brother chose the lower world—"

"GIVE IT BACK TO MEEE!!" Luffy screams, throwing his all into a haymaker, but—

*BOOM*

Luffy is sent flying through trees as Shamrock sends him flying, without even touching him (at least that is what Luffy thinks). Luffy uproots trees due to the force at which he is sent flying, and after the fourth tree, Luffy finally stops, collapsing to the ground and vomiting a huge amount of blood, his internal body a mess.

'w-w-what?' Luffy didn't see him move, nor did he feel any punch land on him, but how the hell is he bleeding?? He doesn't know, but he cannot waste time thinking about it. He immediately drinks his third potion, before rushing past the trees as he speeds up the blood flow in his entire body, using Gear Second in order to rush towards Shamrock. (AN: GEAR 2 FOR US NORMAL FOLKS)

Shamrock raises his hand, before a force erupts from it that reflects Luffy to the side, shocking him. Luffy feels the similar power to what Rai performed on Gunko. As he tries to get up, Shamrock stomps on his head, creating a huge crack on the ground as Luffy struggles to move, his head hurting from the pressure.

Even if he is made of rubber, physical damage that surpasses his physical durability—if the attack is capable of destroying a normal person with similar level of durability to Luffy, it will damage him a lot. Luffy feels so powerless right now, as Shamrock is emitting so much physical strength that it overpowered Luffy.

"Your 'Hat' is annoying to look at. So it is time I cut it in half!" Shamrock tosses the hat in the air, and grips his sword. Luffy's eyes widen in horror, as he tries to pull himself from the ground, but Shamrock's leg is unmoving. Luffy remembers the same feeling from his fight with Zephyr, Aokiji, and Kizaru (only one clash).

Luffy remembers Rai telling him that these people are the strongest in this world, and for him to be the King of the Pirates, he needs to defeat all of them to reach the top, since they will interfere in his dream. But how can he achieve his dream if he is this weak?

"YAMEROOOO!" Luffy screams in horror, trying to think of something. He compresses his leg and aims at Shamrock's face, and by luck, Shamrock removes his leg from Luffy, allowing him to get up. Shamrock is looking at the Hat which is in the air, completely ignoring Luffy.

Luffy remembers what Chopper said to him—

*FLASHBACK*

"Luffy, with one Rumble Ball, your Devil Fruit will be much stronger than before due to the effects of it distorting your wavelength of your Devil Fruit-enhanced biochemistry." Chopper is sitting on the Going Merry, making more stocks of the Rumble Ball he and Luffy will use from now onwards, as Luffy sits on the chair, listening to him. Rai is near Luffy, with his hands in his pockets, looking at Chopper creating the new version of the Rumble Balls.

"With a second Rumble Ball immediately after the first ingestion, your body will be so distorted that you won't be able to control your body parts anymore, as it would be randomized." Luffy blinks in confusion, looking at Rai.

"Randomized?" Rai looks at Luffy, before shrugging and looking back at Chopper.

"It's like you won't have complete control over your body like you would have when eating the first Rumble Ball. It's like you wanting to punch by extending your arm, but your leg is extended instead, something like that!" Luffy looks curious, before looking back at Chopper and asking another question in his mind.

"What if I eat three Rumble Balls, or four?" Chopper stops what he is doing and turns to Luffy in surprise, but knowing that it is a valid question, decides to answer it. Though he is embarrassed.

"Well, when I ate four Rumble Balls once, I became—nevermind. Just know that the author goes wild!" Luffy blinks, but turning to Rai makes him even more confused. Rai looks shocked, but instantly schools his emotions, but there is amusement written on his face.

"When you eat three Rumble Balls, your Devil Fruit goes wild. It enhances your entire body to its limit. Since I am a reindeer who ate the Human-Human Fruit, I turn into a monster of a form, and that was before the upgraded Rumble Ball. Now, I don't know how I look—" as Chopper looks at his small hands, Rai speaks up.

"You look like a combination of all your forms. I'll show you a picture later." Chopper blinks in surprise, but nods. He wants to know what he looks like, since there is only one time he used it, and that was during the fight with Zephyr.

"But for you Luffy, I don't really know. Rai insists that you have a Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika, whatever that is. From what Rai explained to me about what happened when you ate the Rumble Ball, eating three Rumble Balls might—"

FLASHBACK ENDS

Luffy discards Chopper's warnings, and immediately summons his second Rumble Ball, eating it immediately. Energy flows through him as his hair stands, turning pinkish. Even without him wanting to, his body starts aggressively pumping blood, making sweat come out, which is evaporated into smoke. His eyes turn pinkish, as spirals start spinning like a madman. A grin slowly forms on Luffy, unconsciously, as all the smoke starts forming around Luffy like a smoke cloud, as Luffy throws a punch—

But Luffy's tongue stretches out of his body, making him retreat it instantly. He remembers Rai explaining the Randomized Situation he would be in when eating two Rumble Balls back to back without a 6-hour gap, and he becomes annoyed. Luffy accidentally chuckles, before blinking in surprise. He didn't know why he did that though.

Luffy ate the Rumble Ball for a power-up, not for him to be even more useless than before. As Shamrock slowly pulls his sword out, Luffy gets an idea. If random body parts are gonna stretch—

Then he might as well stretch everything. Luffy once again unconsciously grins, without him ever noticing.

Luffy compresses his fingers into his hand, his hand into his wrists, his wrists into his forearms, his forearm into his elbow, his elbow into his arm, his tongue into itself, his eyes to the back of his skull, his head into his neck, his neck into his shoulder, his shoulder into his chest, his toes into his feet, his feet into his ankle, his ankle to knee, his knee to his thigh.

All of Luffy's body parts are compressed into a square shape, as he compresses his body parts as much as possible.

"Hito Hito no — MAXIMUM FIREWORKS PYTHON!" Even though the sound of Luffy's voice is muffled, Shamrock can still hear it. As he turns, Shamrock immediately ducks down as a punch soars above his head. Shamrock tries to look at Luffy, but a kick comes for his crotch, which Shamrock slaps to the ground—

The kick ricochets off the ground as it goes to Shamrock's eye, which Shamrock dodges. Another punch—

Shamrock dodges. A kick to the throat—

Shamrock ducks backwards, letting it fly—

Shamrock's eyes widen in shock as Luffy's groin comes in front of his face, especially near his lips—

Shamrock accidentally deflects it with his hand, making him look disgusted—

Luffy's eye slams into Shamrock's open fist, as Shamrock grabs and squeezes it, making it bend like a rubber ball—

Luffy's pinky toe targets Shamrock's ear, but Shamrock ducks to the side, right as Luffy's ass comes towards Shamrock's face. As Shamrock bends backwards to dodge, Luffy farts, making Shamrock's eyes widen as he accidentally inhales it—

Luffy's tongue goes for Shamrock's groin, making him kick it away. Luffy's balls attack Shamrock from the side, but Shamrock dodges.

A dick—

Shamrock goes backwards—

An ear—

Shamrock kicks it away—

An ass—

Shamrock tries to stay as far as possible—

Each and every part of Luffy's body springs at Shamrock to hit him, but all of it is dodged. But, the second the body parts miss their targets, they ricochet off the air and the ground to chase Shamrock back. This technique is a combination of Gatling, Fireworks, and Python.

Shamrock dodges each and every body part, visibly shaken out of his calm self. As he focuses on Luffy's dick, which always comes to his mouth, Luffy's ass touches Shamrock's ear as Shamrock dodges—

*FART*

Shamrock holds his breath as Luffy releases a huge fart of gas from his ass, and this finally causes Shamrock to get poked in the groin by Luffy's mouth. Shamrock stutters in disgust, making his Observation Haki useless due to the high emotions that Shamrock is feeling—

Which is disgust. As Shamrock moves back, he is hit in the head by Luffy's punch, as Luffy's kick slams into his chest. Luffy's fingers hit Shamrock's back, as Luffy's eyes poke at Shamrock's eyes, making him feel pain. Shamrock closes his eyes, putting his guard up—

But that was stupid of him, as the attack raises in intensity as every single body part lands on Shamrock, from his dick to his ass, Luffy's body parts hit Shamrock with a vengeance, while all Shamrock can do is defend himself as he tries to control himself to use his Observation Haki once again.

As Luffy's lips close in on Shamrock's lips, Shamrock disappears from his place, and as he recollects himself, he easily dodges all of the random attacks from Luffy using his entire body to attack. Luffy, who is completely reliant on his Observation Haki due to his senses being assaulted by various images and sounds and smells due to his body parts moving so much, notices that Shamrock is dodging all of the attacks.

Luffy grits his flying teeth, as he tries to go beyond his limit, trying to speed it up—

But it doesn't matter, as Shamrock is way too fast for Luffy to properly land an attack now. As Shamrock dodges another groin attack, he blitzes Luffy so badly that Luffy cannot track him with his Haki anymore. Shamrock appears right beside Luffy, before slamming his body to the ground with a Haki-infused punch, making him spit out blood.

The blow is so powerful that Luffy comes out of the transformation once again, his body deflates like paper, as his limbs, along with his extended body, lay on the ground like someone sucked all of Luffy's blood. As Shamrock removes his hand from Luffy's chest, already putting him near death—

He gets blindsided by Rai stabbing him in the chest by appearing from nowhere, making him groan in pain. Shamrock turns to Rai, who ducks down to avoid a kick from a now regenerated Gunko who looks absolutely pissed off. Shamrock tries to kick Rai, but Rai blocks it with his fists, getting sent flying and landing perfectly even after getting hit by Shamrock's Armament Haki.

"He is much stronger than this pirate here, we need to focus on him." Shamrock removes the sword stuck in his chest (AN:—Goku Black style without the grinning) as he holds onto the hilt, looking at the sword, interested in it.

While Shamrock is reevaluating his opinion on Rai, Luffy heard his statement, and is surprised. He knew Rai was strong, but now? This is the first time he has seen Rai emitting so much power. He never saw Rai fight in the entire time he was in the crew, but seeing Rai fight like this makes Luffy question it.

Luffy remembers the first time he met Rai—

"Oi?" Luffy speaks up, bored out of his mind.

"What's up?" Rai speaks up, not even looking at Luffy, continuing the digging.

"Is there really no water here? I am soooo thirsty!" Luffy whines, which makes Rai look at Luffy.

Luffy is confused as to why Rai is staring at him blankly for a few seconds, so he calls Rai out.

"Oiii! Can you hear me?" Luffy's whining snaps Rai out of his mind, and he looks at Luffy.

"Yeah... you said you needed water right? Here." Rai raises his hand, and in it, a water jug appeared out of thin air.

That was the first interaction Luffy had with Rai. He showed the capability of magic, and Luffy wanted him to join the crew, which Rai did. Later on, Rai showed his intelligence, becoming the planner of the group, making plans on how to get out of a situation, getting the most out of a situation, etc.

Luffy liked Rai's plans, as that allowed him to have the most fun. He was even more excited when Rai started teaching them Rokushiki and the basics of Haki, since that would allow everyone to grow stronger, especially him so that he can protect his crew whenever needed.

Rai always knew more about the world than he let on, and as much as Rai tells him that he is from Sabaody, Luffy knows he is lying. But Luffy doesn't care, because Rai is his friend. Someone who is there constantly with him, whatever trouble. Rai always figures out a way to escape, and if there needs to be a fight, he will tell them straight.

Luffy remembers how Rai didn't want to fight Zephyr and Aokiji, but because Luffy himself got angry and rashly fought Aokiji, leading to all of the crew except him, Rai and Merry to get captured, and that was only possible due to Rai grabbing Luffy before disappearing. Similarly, Rai helped in escaping against Zephyr, AND made a plan to take down both Crocodile AND the rebellion in Alabasta in one fell swoop.

Rai is always saving their asses, and Luffy... doesn't know how to feel about that. He knows that Rai is the one managing the crew majority of the time, and while he doesn't care much about it, he does question it. He is the captain, and it is his responsibility to protect the crew, but Rai is taking even that upon his shoulders.

Rai is taking everybody's burden upon his shoulders, and Luffy doesn't like that. He doesn't like that at all. Luffy should have been strong enough to take down Zephyr, should have been strong enough to take down Kuzan, should be strong enough to take down Shamrock—

But he isn't. He isn't nearly as close to power as they are. (AN:—Luffy is as strong as his post-timeskip self in Sabaody. At least in both strength and speed, but his Haki is weaker, which is compensated by the wacky abilities he has now.)

Luffy needs to get stronger, even more stronger to the point that Rai doesn't have to take the entire burden of the crew. That is his job, not Rai's. As Luffy tries to get up, he is kicked down by Shamrock once again, this time holding Rai's sword with a proper grip. Luffy notices his hat coming down from the sky, as Shamrock still has eyes on it.

'N-no!' Luffy tries to speak up, but his sound is too low. He tries to get up, but his body is too tired. He is mentally and physically exhausted.

"NO!!" Luffy screams, pushing past his bodily limits through pure will alone, and an eruption of pure Haki comes out of Luffy's body, hitting Shamrock. Shamrock looks at Luffy with surprise in his eyes, noticing the pressure put on his willpower—

But he shrugs it off.

"You are a Conqueror huh? You are much more interesting than I thought." Shamrock turns to look at the hat, and raises Rai's sword. Luffy's eyes widen, as Shamrock brings the sword down, sending a wind slash directly at the hat—

*SKREEE*

In front of Luffy's eyes—

Another Wind Slash slams into Shamrock's Wind Slash, as even before Luffy can register, Shamrock removes his leg from Luffy's body as something slams into Shamrock, making him skid on the ground. Luffy barely looks at the person who did this, noticing the white hair—

"Now now, young man. This Straw Hat is important for some people, you cannot go around destroying people's treasures." Rayleigh raises his sword, and black lightning surges through it, making Luffy wonder what that is. Luffy notices that Rayleigh has his Straw Hat in his hand.

"'Dark King' Rayleigh, the right-hand man of the King of the Pirates. So you are living here." Shamrock spins Rai's swords in his hand—

*BOOM*

Shamrock raises his own sword as Rai's fist slams into the sword, creating so much force that it sends Shamrock flying. The entire island shakes, shocking even Rayleigh with the power that exploded from Rai's body. Rai collapses to the ground in exhaustion, as he takes a deep breath, trying to catch his breath.

Gunko arrives next to Rai, completely enraged, but Rayleigh immediately rushes towards her, and slices at her body, completely cutting it in half, creating a black lightning in Luffy's eyes.

"Get out of here." Rayleigh says to Rai, tossing the Straw Hat to Rai, who nods, catching the Straw Hat before opening his inventory and drinking two health potions and 5 MP potion bottles, getting up and rushing towards Luffy and giving him 5 HP potions. As Luffy drinks it, he gets back his health, but Luffy is exhausted.

"And kid, focus on your Haki, since Haki is what caused Roger to conquer the seas."

As Rai takes Luffy towards the ship, Luffy remembers something that Shanks said pirates do when getting a new ship, neglecting what Rayleigh said to him.

"A-a beer bottle!" Luffy whispers, making Rai look down on him in confusion. As Luffy tries to explain himself, Rai opens his inventory and gets the bottle of beer that Luffy wanted, without any questions. As both of them come near the ship, Luffy, with all of his remaining strength, throws it at the bow of the ship—

Making it explode as the beer contents splash onto the ship. Luffy grins, but is too weak to scream in joy, collapsing onto Rai's arms. Rai brings Luffy up to the deck, where he puts Luffy down. (AN: IN AN SBS OF ODA'S, ODA MENTIONED HOW THE CEREMONY OF THROWING A BOTTLE OF BEER IS SYMBOLIC TO THE SHIP'S LONGEVITY.)

"SET SAIL!!!" Through willpower, Luffy screams. Rai puts Luffy's hat on his head as he, Franky and Merry immediately rush towards the section of the ship as Robin finally gets released from the glass cage. She rushes towards Luffy, who closes his eyes in exhaustion.

He lost, badly. Just today, he had to be saved 3 times, twice thanks to Rai, and thanks to Rayleigh. He needs to get stronger, he cannot be saved over and over again. He cannot let Rai bear all the burden of the crew, 'cause Luffy is HIS captain.

Rai can cause all the chaos he wants, and Luffy is going to make sure that Luffy will be so strong that he can protect Rai, as well as all of his crew. He knows what he needs to do to get stronger—

Master his Devil Fruit.
