Chapter 73: Strength of Captain

Captain Donn charged at the Death Knight with raw power, his massive axe radiating an explosive energy. His swings were devastating, each strike accompanied by bursts of his explosion magic that left craters in the ground.

Donn: (grinning) "Come on, undead! Let's see if you can handle some real power!"

The Death Knight, unfazed, smirked and activated another of his deadly techniques, The Blade Is Me. His sword turned into a sinister black-green hue, pulsating with deadly energy. It emanated an aura of decay, causing the ground beneath them to wither and crack.

Death Knight: (mocking) "Impressive, human, but let me show you what a true weapon looks like."

The two clashed with incredible force, the sound of their weapons echoing across the battlefield. Sparks flew as axe met cursed blade. Donn's explosive attacks shook the ground, but the Death Knight's precise, calculated strikes kept him at bay.

The Death Knight's blade, infused with its dark power, started to gain an edge. With a sudden burst of speed, he closed the distance and aimed a devastating slash at Donn.

Just as the attack was about to land, Captain Aria intervened, her trident intercepting the cursed blade.

Aria: (calmly) "You didn't think I'd let you have all the fun, did you, Donn?"

With a swift motion, she pushed the Death Knight back and followed up with a series of rapid strikes, her trident glowing with water magic. Her attacks flowed like a relentless tide, forcing the Death Knight to shift his focus to defend himself.

Donn, seizing the moment, stepped beside Aria.

Donn: (grinning) "Took you long enough, Trident Queen. Let's take him down together."

The two captains coordinated their attacks, Donn's raw power and explosive strikes complementing Aria's fluid and precise water magic. The battlefield trembled as the captains launched a relentless assault on the Death Knight, who now found himself on the defensive.

Despite being outnumbered, the Death Knight's sinister laughter echoed once more.

Death Knight: (mocking) "Ah, teamwork. How charming. But you'll need more than that to defeat me."

The battle intensified as the captains pushed forward, their determination unwavering. The rest of Division 10 and the other captains closed in, ready to join the fight and end the Death Knight's reign of terror.

Captain Aria unleashed a relentless barrage of water magic, her strikes coming at the Death Knight from all angles. However, the Death Knight's blade, pulsating with its eerie green-black glow, effortlessly countered each wave with precise slashes, dispersing the water attacks into harmless sprays.

Death Knight: (mocking) "Is that all, Trident Queen? You'll need more than mere droplets to bring me down."

But Aria smirked, her eyes glinting with determination.

Aria: (calmly) "Oh, I was just getting started."

Raising her trident high, she summoned a massive tsunami, the sheer force of the wave causing the ground to tremble. The towering wall of water surged forward, carrying with it an overwhelming pressure.

Captain Donn, standing atop the crest of the tsunami, grinned wildly. His axe glowed with explosive magic as he prepared to strike.

Donn: (shouting) "Hope you're ready for this, undead!"

The Death Knight's eyes widened slightly, not with fear, but with unbridled excitement. He braced himself, ready to meet the oncoming torrent head-on.

Death Knight: (excitedly) "Yes! Come at me with everything you've got!"

As the tsunami crashed toward him, Donn leapt from the wave, his axe poised to deliver a devastating blow. Just as the Death Knight prepared to counter, a sudden, unexpected attack caught him off guard.

Captain Elara, moving with incredible speed, appeared behind him, her sword glowing with the combined power of her five elemental magics. With precise timing, she struck, her blade blazing with fire, encased in ice, and crackling with lightning, all while infused with the raw strength of wind and earth.

The Death Knight, momentarily stunned, took the brunt of Elara's attack. The explosion of elemental energy sent him reeling, his armor scorched, cracked, and dented.

Elara: (firmly) "You let your guard down, Death Knight. That was a mistake."

The battlefield erupted in cheers from the knights who witnessed the captains working together with seamless coordination. The Death Knight staggered, his sinister grin replaced with a glare of frustration.

Death Knight: (growling) "Impressive... but you'll need more than that to finish me."

The captains regrouped, their combined strength now fully focused on bringing down the Death Knight. The air crackled with tension as the battle reached its climax.
