Building The Strongest Family-Chapter 52: A World Without Anime [ 1 ]
"Hey, Evolon! I need you to quickly gather information about anime!" Arthur instructed as he hopped into the car, urgency lacing his voice.
He had just finished a meeting with his second uncle Nathaniel, and while he was aware of the looming threat from Christopher and his associates, he didn't take it too seriously.
After all, he'd already taken precautions against them.
What truly worried him was their potential to leverage their extensive connections with officials to undermine him.
Arthur knew that when it came to official backing, the Osborn Family couldn't compete with other powerful families.
If Christopher decided to wield his family's influence against him, it could spell trouble.
The only officials Arthur knew were Head Bureau Derrick and Deputy Head Quill, his relationships with them were merely superficial at best.
He felt cornered; he could handle any business maneuver Christopher might throw at him, but if they turned to official channels? That would be a different story entirely.
"Looks like I need to start building some connections in the official field," Arthur muttered, narrowing his eyes in determination.
Suddenly, Evolon's voice broke through his thoughts. "Sir, there is no such thing as anime in Panterra. What I found are only cartoons and animations."
Arthur's expression shifted dramatically as panic set in. "Wait a minute! You mean there's no anime here?" His breathing quickened as heat flushed his cheeks.
"Check again anime is traditionally 2D animated but often blends 3D/CGI elements," he exclaimed desperately, praying that this world wouldn't lack what had become such an integral part of his life.
"Sir, nothing has been found; only cartoon animations exist here," Evolon replied calmly as videos began playing on Arthur's phone screen.
He watched in disbelief as Disney-like 3D animations flickered before him, there was simply no trace of anime or anything resembling it in Panterra.
His lips trembled with excitement and disbelief.
'If there's no anime here... then I can pioneer it! I'll be the father of anime!'
Just imagining himself alongside legends like Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, filled him with exhilaration.
He envisioned becoming like Osamu Tezuka the god of anime
who created Astro Boy,the first popular anime series in this new world.
With renewed enthusiasm, Arthur opened the system mall
and eagerly scrolled through the anime category to begin purchasing materials for his ambitious endeavor.

A few minutes later, Arthur arrived at a smaller office building compared to Osborn Real Estate and Construction Group, a modest structure boasting around 40 floors.
This was home to Osborn Media and Entertainment Group, overseen by his second aunt Emily.
Stepping out of the car, Arthur casually slung a black canvas bag over his shoulder and strolled into the office building.
Just moments before, he had stopped by to buy this bag, perfect for carrying all the goodies he'd snagged from the system mall.
Without wasting a second, Arthur hopped into the elevator and pressed the button for the
40th floor, the very top of this towering office complex, where his aunt's office is.
As the doors slid open, he stepped into a spacious environment bustling with activity.
This was not just any floor; it housed high-level executives and several conference rooms buzzing with energy.
He made his way to his aunt's office at the far end of the space, nobody
would stop him, aftet all everyone here knew who he is.
Knocking lightly on her door but receiving no response, Arthur pushed it open and peeked inside. "Huh! She's not here," he murmured, flopping down onto the couch in resignation.
Just then, Emily entered through the main door of the building, her expression shifting from surprise to amusement as she spotted Arthur sprawled out on her couch. "Oh hey, aunt! Where have you been?"Arthur asked with a smile.
"I was stuck in a meeting with department heads and CEOs from our subsidiaries," Emily replied as she settled next to him on the couch.
"A meeting? But what's there to discuss? The company hasn't even kicked off yet!" Arthur raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Exactly! That's why we met," Emily explained earnestly. "The employees are getting anxious, they've been on payroll for ages without any actual work being done!"
Arthur scratched his head sheepishly; after all, he was the one who advised her to hold off until he was ready.
With a treasure trove of songs and movies lined up at the system mall, he wanted everything just right before diving into their entertainment venture.
"Okay then! If they're itching to get started, I'll give them something to do!" Arthur chuckled enthusiastically.
"By the way, how are things going with that publishing company and those studios I asked you about?"
"Pretty much set up!" Emily nodded but then looked at him curiously. "But why did you want me to split our publishing house into two? What's this MangaSphere Publications all about? And what even is 'manga'?"
Arthur grinned knowingly; when he'd assigned Osborn Media and Entertainment Group to her care, he'd let her create MangaSphere Publications under the assumption that anime existed here too,a little twist of fate since it didn't seem like it did after all.
Well," he began playfully, "MangaSphere will be responsible for serializing manga when we get there! As for what 'manga' means… you'll understand soon enough! But right now".
He said with a grin as he opened a sleek black canvas bag, "I have quite the workload lined up for you!"
He started pulling out an impressive stack of books and piling them onto the glass coffee table.
Emily picked up each book one by one, her brow furrowing in confusion as she read the titles aloud: "Harry Potter," "Game of Thrones," "The Vampire Diaries," and "The Three Body Problem." frёewebnoѵēl.com
"Arthur, what are these books for?" she asked, curiosity piqued.
"Oh, those are the books I want Osborn Publishing House to publish, just the first volumes for now," Arthur replied with a grin.
"But where did you get these? Last I checked, you weren't a writer or an author!" Emily raised an eyebrow skeptically.
Arthur chuckled. "I bought them from some folks who were in dire need of cash. I thought they seemed interesting and would do well!" He beamed with pride.
Little did Emily know that Arthur had acquired these books from a system mall that operated differently in this world; while some content was altered to fit local norms, the essence remained intact.
He had even noticed that the concept of vampires didn't exist here at all, that's why he included The Vampire Diaries!
Emily nodded slowly and opened one of the books, her eyes lighting up as she skimmed through its pages. "This is really excellent!" she exclaimed, looking back at Arthur with excitement.
Of course it's excellent! Arthur thought smugly. Thousands of years of Earth culture aren't a joke!
"And here are two movie scripts," he said, pulling out two hefty documents and handing them to her.
She set down the Harry Potter book to examine the scripts more closely. "John Wick!" She glanced up at him wide-eyed. "And... Titanic!"
"Right," Arthur confirmed with a nod. "One's action-packed while the other is a romance."
"Let me guess: John Wick is the action flick and Titanic is the love story?" Emily smirked.
"Exactly!" Arthur grinned back.
"So what's this John Wick about?" Her curiosity was evident now.
"Well," he began, "it's essentially about a guy who goes on a rampage against an entire gang because they killed his dog."
As he spoke, he couldn't help but think that if someone put him next to John Wick and Batman and asked him whom to offend, he'd choose Batman any day!
Infact he will rather go for a three days and nights combat with Madara Uchiha than even have John Wick dog chase him.
"That's it?" Emily looked puzzled.
"Yep! That's just the core premise," Arthur said nonchalantly. "But don't underestimate it; there are several sequels!"
"Okay..." Emily shrugged before shifting gears. "And what about Titanic?"
"It's about two star-crossed lovers whose innocent romance leads to disaster when their ship sinks," he replied casually, but internally cringed at how simplistic his summary sounded compared to its emotional depth.
Emily stared at him incredulously. "You're terrible!"
