Building The Strongest Family-Chapter 61: A Day Well Spent
An hour later, the movie wrapped up, and the audience poured out of the cinema, creating a lively buzz.
Conversations erupted around Arthur as people animatedly discussed the plot, lamenting how heartbreaking it was.
They raved about the male lead's unwavering loyalty to the female lead, only to be shocked when she ultimately married a billionaire and left him behind, while still admiring him enough to attend her wedding. Seriously? What a load of nonsense!
Arthur felt his stomach churn at the thought. Loyalty? Dedication? No way!
This was just bootlicking and gold digging in disguise.
It wasn't love; it was absurdity! He sighed, shaking his head at what these folks deemed a romance film.
If they were truly moved by love stories, they should dive into Shakespeare's tragedies like "Romeo and Juliet",now that would bring them to tears!
"Looks like I have to save the romance genre from this world!" Arthur muttered under his breath.
"Why so quiet?" Arthur asked, glancing sideways at Clara.
"I finally see why you called the male lead a simp and the female lead... what was it again?" Clara inquired.
"Gold digger!" Arthur replied with a smirk.
"Yes! A gold digger! I can't believe after everything he did for her, she chose to marry someone who could practically be her father!" Clara shook her head in disbelief.
Arthur chuckled softly but didn't respond further.
A few minutes later, they reached their cars. Arthur leaned down and kissed Snow on the forehead with a gentle smile.
"It's late now, Snow. Get home safely and sleep well! I'll take you out again soon!"
"Yes, big brother Arthur," Snow nodded eagerly before wrapping her small arms around him with reluctance in her eyes.
He handed her over to Clara with a smile. "Well then, Clara, it's getting late for me too. See you another day!"
"See you soon!" Clara returned his smile warmly.
Arthur nodded as he opened the car door for himself and Liz before settling in beside her.
"Goodbye big sister Clara!" Liz exclaimed as she poked her head out of the window to wave.
"Goodbye Liz! Take care!" Clara waved back with an affectionate grin.
With a low, beast-like roar, the red car shot off into the distance, leaving only a glowing taillight in its wake.
Clara watched as the vibrant color faded into the night, an involuntary smile spreading across her face.
But reality quickly set in; she snapped back to focus and carefully placed Snow in the back seat before driving away.
By this time, the sun had dipped below the horizon, and the moon had claimed its rightful place in the deep night sky, surrounded by twinkling stars that seemed to dance in delight.
Arthur glanced over at Liz, who was dozing peacefully in the passenger seat, and a warm smile crept onto his face.
Today had been fulfilling, spending time with his sister and seeing her smile filled his heart with contentment.
That was the smile he wanted to protect at all costs.
An hour and a half later, Arthur pulled up to the grand Osborn Family Mansion and parked in the garage.
He gently lifted Liz from the car, cradling her as they made their way to the door.
As he opened it, he spotted his aunt Margaret sitting in the spacious living room wearing her nightgown, her brow furrowed with concern.
"Arthur! You're home!" she exclaimed as soon as she saw him carrying Liz.
"Aunt Margaret! What are you doing up this late?" he asked in surprise.
"I was worried about you two," she replied softly. "It's already quite late."
Arthur felt a warm current of affection flow through him at her concern. "Don't worry! Nothing happened; Liz just got tired from all that playing today. I'm going to tuck her into bed now."
"Okay," Margaret nodded with relief. "Good night!"
"Good night, Aunt!" Arthur replied as he watched her head back upstairs.
He then turned his attention back to Liz and carried her into her bedroom.
After tucking her snugly under a blanket and kissing her gently on the forehead, he quietly stepped out of the room.
Back in his own space, Arthur treated himself to a soothing hot bath before sinking into his big bed.
As memories of their day together played through his mind like a movie reel, a smile curled on his lips, certain images bringing warmth to his heart.
Suddenly, Arthur's phone buzzed beside him; it lit up with a text notification from Clara: "Have you arrived home?"
Suddenly, Arthur's phone buzzed, and a text notification lit up the screen.
Clara: "Have you arrived at home yet?"
A smile tugged at Arthur's lips as he quickly typed back,"Yes!"
Moments later, another message popped up.
Clara: "Snow says she already misses you!"
Arthur couldn't help but tease a bit. "Are you sure it's not you who's missing me?" fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
Clara: "You wish!"
Settling into a comfy spot, Arthur continued his playful banter with Clara, enjoying every moment of their chat.

"Huh! It's already so late!" Arthur exclaimed softly, surprised at how time had slipped away.
When he glanced at the clock, he realized it was nearly midnight. He hadn't expected to chat with Clara for so long.
"Clara, it's almost midnight! I'm heading to bed now. Talk to you tomorrow!" Arthur typed quickly before hitting send.
Moments later, his phone buzzed with a reply.
Clara: "Then good night! Sleep well "
"Good night," Arthur responded, a smile creeping onto his face as he closed the chat.
He placed his phone on the bedside table and said, "Evolon, create my schedule for tomorrow and wake me up at 6:30 AM."
"Already done, Sir!" came Evolon's cheerful voice from the device.
Satisfied, Arthur settled into bed and drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile, in a lavish bedroom somewhere in Neo-Luminara…
Clara lounged in her soft silk nightgown that gracefully hugged her figure.
Her milky white skin glowed under the soft light of her room, especially highlighting her long, slender legs.
With damp hair cascading around her shoulders, she looked effortlessly enchanting.
As she stared dreamily at her phone displaying the conversation with Arthur, a blush crept across her cheeks.
She hadn't anticipated enjoying a chat with him this much!
Reflecting on their exchange brought an involuntary smile to her lips, her perfect features radiated charm.
"Go to sleep… go to sleep," she whispered playfully while burying her head beneath a pillow.
