Carnivals: Claimed By The Deranged Alpha Prince [BL]-Chapter 263: Killa
Chapter 263: Killa
Jules’ pov
"Oh- oh my godddd. What just happened?" I whispered, hands shaking a little while I tried to get myself together. I had just witnessed the most unbelievable thing ever and I almost couldn’t believe it was real or had actually happened.
I let out a shaky breath just as Blaze’s hands came around my shoulders, pulling me into his side.
"Let’s get out of here first." He spoke softly as his eyes darted around for a few moments.
After a few slow seconds, his hand tugged me head against his chest, and he was teleporting out of that spot.
When we appeared in the bedroom of Roy’s apartment, I let out a shaky breath as I sank into the bed at once.
I felt completely unnerved and if Blaze hadn’t gone with me, I almost wouldn’t have believed that all of that had actually happened.
"Did any of you know he was a... a god?" Blaze asked as he took the seat beside me and I let out a long exhale as I shook my head.
"We didn’t know and I still find it hard to believe that."
"The night that disaster happened, you said my father was also present, right? Does that mean apart from Andrian, he was always working with my father this whole time?" Blaze asked slowly, head tilted sideways and I stared down at my cold hands.
"I- that would make so much sense. But does this mean your father knew he was a god this whole time?" I mumbled and Blaze let out a long breath before getting to his feet.
"Do you know anything about the seven gods?" He asked as he shrugged out of his jacket and began to remove all the trackers on him. I forced my weak hands to do the same thing to my own body.
"I don’t think so, I only know of their existence." I admitted and Blaze hummed.
"I heard that they’re the overseer of everything under the supernatural umbrella. They’re supposed to be the strongest forces to ever exist, so it was shocking for me to hear that your father wants your powers in order to regain his god status again." He explained and I instantly remembered something.
"In my dream, my mother mentioned this, something very similar. She said the seven gods were after my powers, which was actually why she sealed it away. I’m guessing she never knew her husband was one of the seven gods this whole time." My voice was bitter towards the end of my sentence as I rose to my feet and stretched a little.
"Where are you going?" Blaze asked when I headed for the door.
"Kai sent an address of where he wants me to come to this morning, and he assured me Kim is gonna be present there. So... we have to go formulate a plan or something because I want to get Kim back as soon as possible."
Blaze let out a long sigh, clearly displeased but he ended up exiting the room along with me. He was never really fond of Kim but I believe with time, he’d become protective of him like he is of myself and Roy.
~~~
Even though Kai ordered me to come alone, I had a feeling he knew I’d never come alone. I wasn’t even just going with Blaze, Roy insisted on coming as well.
When we arrived at the location, it was in the middle of a forest, whereby we had to alight the car and trek the rest of the distance at a point.
We kept walking forward, making sure to be as quiet as possible and when we finally arrived at a clearing, there was a compact trailer in sight, one which had a house in it.
Kim is definitely in there.
We began to head towards it when we suddenly stopped because Kai emerged from behind the trailer, a lazy expression across his face. As I stared at his face, I was consumed with disbelief because I never would have guessed that he’d be able to do something like this in the past.
"Oh, you brought company even after I asked you to come alone." Kai drawled around a chuckle and I glared at him.
"Surely you didn’t expect me to do something that stupid. Now, where is my friend? I can’t believe you’d even stoop to this extent to begin with,"
His eyes flashed with anger. "This is just a game and I have to do whatever I can. Anyways, Kim isn’t here right now."
I felt myself bristle. "You said he was gonna be here!"
"I guess we both lied, you said you were gonna come alone," he drawled with a lazy shrug and I wanted to scream from frustration.
"Where the hell did you keep him?" Roy demanded angrily this time and Kai scoffed.
"Not the charity case speaking right now." He crooned around a laugh.
Blaze was silent before, but this time, he crossed the space separating us and grasped Kai throat, eyes burning with anger.
"Never... ever speak to him that way." He growled angrily.
Kai spluttered for a moment, and then he clapped his hands. In the next moment, armed men were pouring out of all corners, instantly surrounding us.
Kai then began to laugh hysterically after Blaze’s hand dropped from his throat.
"You’re all fools, walking right into a trap this easily. I actually expected better." He drawled, speaking right into Blaze’s face.
In the next moment, the trailer door opened and Taylor stepped out. A feeling of betrayal clamped tightly around my chest. He hadn’t just been working with Kai, he was actually working for my father this whole time.
Before anyone could say anything, a rustling sound made everyone turn around, just as Xander emerged from the other side of the forest, breathing hard.
"Where is Kim? You asshole, how dare you touch him?" Xander growled out, addressing Kai and I instantly realized that Xander also got lured here just like us.
So Xander actually cares about Kim?
Kai rolled his eyes. "Everyone’s here together, makes this almost feel like a reunion. Too bad you’re all getting captured today." He announced loudly with a crackle while Taylor stood beside him, gloating at us.
Blaze’s eyes wandered around the armed men. They were about twenty in number, but Blaze still appeared unfazed.
"You know what, cousin?" Blaze began, moving close to Kim and ignoring the sounds of guns being cocked but I felt my heart begin to race.
"You’re a fool for ever thinking you could ever have an upper hand against me." He finished, but before Kai could say anything, Blaze was turning around, arms stretched out, and as his palms glowed, he turned the arms men into sand as he drained out their life forces. Some of them tried shooting at him but he dodged the bullets, kicked away some guns and kicked some in the chest. Roy faced off two of the men at once, and Xander pounded on Kai when he attempted crawling away.
Taylor was almost rounding the corner but I threw myself at him and we both fell, rolling around in the sand and hitting each other at the same time. Anger was gripping every inch of my body. The fact that since Taylor worked for my dad, it means he must have known that I was grieving when I enrolled into the school, yet he acted clueless and played me the entire time. He also clearly aided Elio’s kidnap and now Kim’s.
The anger was so intense within me that as soon as I got on top of him, I tightened my hands around his neck and kept whispering for him to die.
He managed to throw a stone in my eyes and kick me off but I was on him again after some struggles, and this time, I picked up the nearest stone and began to smash it in his face. I couldn’t see or hear anything but I didn’t stop smashing and screaming till hands were pulling me off his body and trying to keep me still.
When I finally got a hold of myself and looked over at Taylor, on seeing his face fully smashed in and blood pooling underneath his head and throat, with a staggering shock, I realized that he was dead
I had killed Taylor... with my own hands.
