Carnivals: Claimed By The Deranged Alpha Prince [BL]-Chapter 265: Movements
Chapter 265: Movements
Blaze’s pov
"What the hell?" I growled into the phone, anger churning within my veins as I listened to absurd things drip off my father’s tongue.
"It’s the truth." He responded.
"Fuck you and your truth. You fucking pedo." I snapped out in irritation as my eyes panned towards Jules who was listening in on this conversation with an annoyed expression across his face.
"If you have nothing to say, end the call." My father spoke up after a few moments and I scoffed underneath my breath.
"Where the hell is Kim? The kid you asked Kai to capture." I demanded in the next moment.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about." He responded flatly.
"Stop playing dumb, where the hell is he?" I snapped.
"Do you have Kai with you?" He questioned and I snorted.
"Of course I don’t. Why would he be with me?" I lied through my teeth.
"Well, I don’t have Kim with me." He breathed out after a few moments and labyrinth gritted his teeth beside me.
"But you know who he is, don’t you? You didn’t even sound surprised by the question." I shot back and he sighed.
"Of course I do. He’s your mate’s brother after all." He responded easily and I blinked slowly in confusion.
"What?" I echoed out and beside me, Labyrinth had his mouth open, eyes widened in shock.
"The bubbly omega, right? He’s labyrinth’s brother. Don’t tell me you aren’t aware of that yet. Isn’t that why you kept protecting him as well?" He responded flatly again and I blinked in disbelief.
"I don’t..." I began before trailing off.
"They’re brothers, it explains the werewolf bite in your mate, and it explains your compatibility with him." He continued to speak and as my eyes darted towards labyrinth, the shock in his eyes perfectly mirrored mine.
"Anyways, you both know what you have to do, right? Don’t take too long."
And after that, the call got disconnected. I stared down at the phone while my mind reeled on and on.
Labyrinth and Kim are brothers? How? Is that even possible?
Although now that I was thinking about it, it would explain why labyrinth is drawn to him and always protective of him. It would also explain why they were able to easily connect.
Labyrinth had his hands around his face when I glanced at him and I tugged him against me. He was rigid at first before melting into my chest.
"Do you think... your father was being honest?" He asked quietly and I gave a tense nod in response. I hated to admit it but he wasn’t one to lie about things, simply because he believed no one would be able to do anything to him after he told the truth.
"That’s... that’s insane. How is that possible? Do you think we’re really brothers?" He asked, eyes still blown wide and filled with shock. Somehow, I welcomed this look in his eyes right now, it was completely different from the cold, emotionless hue in his eyes since we returned without Kim and since he killed Taylor.
I wasn’t sure if he was yet to fully process that, but I was determined to be beside him at all times so I’d be able to catch him if he got too overwhelmed by his emotions.
"We’ll need to ask your father about this. He’ll definitely reveal the truth to us." I finally responded and he sighed as he let his eyes slide close as he leaned against my chest. He pulled away after a few minutes to peer up at me.
"How would we contact him though? Are we just gonna sit around till he reaches out to us...?"
I shook my head in response. "No, we’re not. We’re gonna get prepared as we wait for his next move. For now, we’re gonna pay my sister a visit and find out if she’d be willing to teach you how to get a hang of your magic."

Raine didn’t look happy to see me and she didn’t bother hiding her displeasure.
"Didn’t I ask you to stay away?" She demanded, face in a scowl and I let out a low sigh. I was currently here with my mate and Roy who reluctantly accompanied us today.
"You know I couldn’t. I didn’t know any of this existed until the last time I was here. Now that I know that a whole life exists here, and that I have a sister, cousins and so on, I’d like to get to know them." I revealed to her, which was actually true.
This was also a part of my life. It’s natural for me to want to get more connected to it.
She pursed her lips. "I doubt if they’d share your mindset. They’re certainly not as forgiving as I am, and trust me, I’m being very forgiving right now." She paused as she began to glide closer to us.
"So many of our cousins have had to lose their lives while protecting the throne. Do you know that women cannot sit on the throne?" She continued.
"Only men are allowed to. Our mother was a queen because her betrothed became a king. She didn’t birth a son for him, so I was supposed to sit on the throne, but after she left, my father ended up dying, then a lot of people began to eye the throne. The throne is rightfully mine, and yours as well, because your mother was a queen, but with you absent, a cruel uncle of ours currently rules." She revealed and I was beyond shocked at the end of it all.
"I... is there something I can do?" I finally asked, feeling a little guilty.
She shrugged a little. "Not much to be honest, not in your form at least. You’d have to rise into your full form, then you might stand a tiny chance, because our uncle is very, very powerful." She explained and I sighed.
"How can I rise to my full demon form?"
"It takes decades to achieve that, and once that happens, you might never be able to fully turn back into human again." She admitted carefully and my eyes settled on labyrinth who was listening in on the entire conversation with rapt concentration.
"And who do we have here?" Raine crooned and I instantly detected the softness in her voice.
"I’m labyrinth." He introduced himself, voice soft but confident and I tugged him into my side.
"He’s my mate." I informed her and in the next moment, her face lit up.
"Oh my, he’s so cute!" She exclaimed, and then she introduced herself to him. ƒrēenovelkiss.com
After a few back and forth, I cleared my throat and interrupted them.
"We’re here for a reason, Reina. We need your help. You specify in magic and spells, right?" I asked and she nodded, and then I gave her an explanation of the help we actually needed.
She told us she’d be right back, ushered us to take a seat, and then she suddenly sprouted wings which sent her soaring straight through the roof which opened as soon as she waved a hand at it.
"Wow! She looks so strong, and powerful! And her wings... I didn’t know actual demons have wings??!" Labyrinth exclaimed in awe just as she swooped back in, and her wings disappeared once her feet connected with the ground.
"Not all demons have wings, it depends on their powers." She explained and then opened the large book she went to fetch.
After a while, she finally attempted to start, but on the first try, she gasped and stepped away from him, then with regret, she informed us that she can’t be able to help him like she thought because demons like her can’t come in contact with light magic.
"I can feel the powers in him, and it’s... it’s unlike anything i’ve ever felt. It’s a lot, like— it’s enough to go through hundreds of people, and for all of it to be him means he’s destined to be very, very powerful." She admitted and I glanced at Labyrinth who was listening in attentively.
"However, a welder of dark magic can’t come in contact with light magic, except the person is super powerful... and apparently I’m not, so..." she trailed off with a shrug.

When we exited the demon clan, this time, she wasn’t so hostile, but she still wasn’t that nice to Roy and I. However, she embraced Labyrinth and urged him to come visit soon.
Back in Roy’s apartment, I was at a loss for what to come up with next.
Labyrinth ended up suggesting that we should head back to his clan, and that he had a feeling someone might be there who’d be able to teach him because he felt like some of them might still be alive. It was very dangerous and we wouldn’t be able to teleport there since it was very far and since I also wouldn’t know what to picture in my mind.
I told him I’d think about it.
That evening, I got a phone call from my father and a minute into it, I realized that indeed, he had eyes everywhere.
He had just threatened to get someone to hurt Raine if I don’t comply with him. Apparently; he had someone working for him in that clan because he knew I’d one day figure out who my mother was, which would in turn lead me there.
I was beyond flagbasted this time.
"I have connections with the current ruler of that clan. With a single visit, I can get him to kill off your half-sister. However, I won’t do that if you comply with me. We only need your mate’s magic, that’s all. He’s not gonna get hurt, no one would get hurt, but only if you comply and act right."
