Carnivals: Claimed By The Deranged Alpha Prince [BL]-Chapter 274: D-Day
Chapter 274: D-Day
Chapter 274
3rd person pov
Blaze shook labyrinth awake minutes after shifting back to his human form. Labyrinth was confused at first on not recognizing where they currently are till he sighted his mate, then he relaxed.
"It’s almost time. We should head back now." Blaze said as he got to his feet and helped his mate up.
Labyrinth had a grim expression on as fear gripped his inside. He was already dreading tonight. The moon was almost full in the sky right now.
Blaze teleported them back to Roy’s apartment and labyrinth was worried about his mate once again because he used teleporting skills twice tonight when he wasn’t supposed to be using any kind of his powers for now.
Blaze plated a meal for them to share but neither of them could eat. Roy provided guns for himself, Xander and Blaze, because tonight, Blaze would have to refrain from using any supernatural skill.
Labyrinth was hoping no one would get hurt tonight and he hugged his mate tightly, not wanting to let go after long minutes. Blaze held labyrinth tightly, feeling his heart crumble tonight because of what awaited them tonight.
"We’ll come out of this alive no matter what, okay?" Blaze spoke to labyrinth who slowly nodded. But on the inside, labyrinth was fine with dying so far Blaze would be saved.
Labyrinth knew it was pointless telling that to Blaze right now so he kept it to himself.
Just like they anticipated, at midnight, a text from Labyrinth’s father came in, threatening to kill Elio and kim if he didn’t show up at the given address.

The location ended up being some sort of deserted area, and we all walked to the middle of the opened, empty space. Labyrinth’s thoughts could be perfectly mirrored on everyone’s faces, they were all wondering if tonight’s ritual is supposed to happen here.
A fleeting moment later, the ground underneath their feet broke through with a sickening crack and they all let out panicked screams as they fell through.
Labyrinth’s instincts instantly kicked in and as he somasulted in the air, he quickly closed his and summoned his magic, channeling it through his hands and letting it from a protective bubble around him. He maneuvered the glowing blue colored bubble towards his mate and pulled his mate into it with a flick of his finger. He repeated that two more times for Roy and Xander, and as the rest of the guys rose to their feet in the bubble, Labyrinth had to concentrate his energy on keeping the magical bubble intact till they were landing on solid ground again.
Labyrinth panted as he let the bubble come down and everyone was grateful for his presence while also being amazed by the lengths of his powers once again. Blaze cupped his mate’s face and quietly asked if he was alright and labyrinth nodded, before reminding him to refrain from using his powers tonight no matter what.
They all began to walk forward and soon realized that they were in some sort of long forgotten underground tunnel.
As they kept on walking, Blaze stepped on something which squeaked and everyone froze and hastily glanced around the creepy tunnel. In the next moment; the dim atmosphere was being illuminated by a flood of lights. Lamps suddenly got turned on from all angles, and everyone was still frozen.
In the next moment, some monster-like creatures morphed from thin air and they instantly began to spit lava like liquid from their mouth which burned through whatever it made contact with. Blaze, Roy and Xander began to attack the monsters at once, but they soon realized their guns were useless against the creatures.
Labyrinth was instantly about to attack those creatures with his own magic when a familiar voice boomed through the air.
"Labyrinth, keep walking down the tunnel, or your friends are gonna die in ten seconds!"
Everyone stiffened but caught themselves when the creatures tried killing them again. Roy and Xander began to try other tastics in taking down the creatures, but it still didn’t work, and all they had left to do was to keep outrunning it.
Blaze and labyrinth didn’t want to get separated. Labyrinth was worried about his mate and friends, he didn’t want to leave them to these monsters, but he also didn’t want Elio and Kim to get killed, and so he forced himself to separate from his mate in that very moment.
He hurriedly sped down the tunnel, and after about five steps forward, he crossed a line that created some sort of see through demarcation between where his mate and friends were fighting the monster. He pushed at the demarcation and realized it was some sort of glass that burned when touched.
A familiar voice made him whirl around and he spotted his father standing before five men who labyrinth believed were his guards. Labyrinth hurried towards him and demanded that he call off the monsters currently attacking his friends and mate, but his father only crackled before reminding him who was in charge right now.
Labyrinth gets consumed with rage and tries blasting his father off with his magic, but nothing bursted out from his palms. His father laughed in his face and informed him that a spell was put up here to prevent him from using his magic here. Labyrinth is beyond pissed at this point and he kept feeling immense worry for his mate right now.
When he got ordered to step on some sort of circular podium, he instantly refused and he kept demanding his father call off his monster’s creatures.
His father ordered for Elio to be brought to him, and to labyrinth’s utter bewilderment, his father stepped a knife into the heart of an unconscious Elio.
Labyrinth screamed and fell to his knees while chanting a series of no’s, but his father only crackled menacingly and reminded him to get on the podium right now. Labyrinth’s rage built up within him, he was consumed with it because he just witnessed his friend get killed for real this time.
However, before anything could happen, Labyrinth was shocked when his father ordered his guards to bring Kim forward. Kim was tied up and clearly frightened, and labyrinth instantly panicked.
He was shocked to the core when he got asked to get on the podium else Kim would get killed next.
Labyrinth had no choice but to get on the podium this time. He was filled with rage and the urge to cry for his friend at the same time. Minutes after he got on the podium, his father walked to a button in the front of the podium and pressed it, and then right in front of the podium, large seven stones hanging from the tall roof, all lit up with different colors of lights, and after a fleeting moment, a burst of light flew from the stones in equally straight lines to connect with the podium from all angles. The straight lines all formed a circle, trapping labyrinth in the middle of it all.
Labyrinth then realized that he was beyond trapped at this point after he tried alighting the podium and realized he couldn’t.
"These seven stones represent each of your powers. Light, sky, air, wind, earth, water, and the moon. Tonight, I’m taking them all from you with the help of these stones which would suck those powers right now off you." Labyrinth’s rather explained to him through a booming voice. freēnovelkiss.com
Labyrinth realized that he was beyond doomed right now. However, all he could think about right now was how his mate was fairing.

The creatures were so strong and nothing was taking them down. They were all already tired of outrunning the monsters, and at this point, Blaze realized he’d have to use his powers before he can be able to defeat these creatures. He believed these creatures were used to stall him on purpose so he won’t be able to protect his mate right now. He didn’t know what was currently happening to his mate and that made him extremely worried.
Xander and Roy were already hurt by the monsters at this point.
Blaze rolled out of a large stone which he took cover behind, and as all five monsters tried attacking him, he stretched his hands out and instantly began to drain the life force out of them, feeding on their souls. As the monsters weakened and fell to the floor, Blaze felt himself grow weak, while his hands began to change color and grow extremely heavy. He knew this was why he was asked to not use his powers again, but there was no way he’d sit by and not do anything in this situation, knowing his mate might be in danger.
After the monsters turned into sand, Blaze fell to his knees, feeling dizzy and nauseous. A look at his hands made him panic, the discoloration of them was much was than it has ever been, and they almost felt like stone.
"Behind you!" Roy screamed at Blaze, but because Blaze was still weak, he took too long to turn around, and something connected with his head hard that sent him flying into the nearest wall while pain shot through his head.
As someone crouched beside him, he managed to open his eyes a little and he realized that had been his father.
