Chapter 56: A Lesson Served Hot [2]

Readers’ pov

The second vampire was in immense pain, his two hands were broken and a few of his ribs, he couldn’t breathe properly, and he could feel pain in every part of his body.

"T- the principal." He whispered frantically, silently praying Blaze dosent end up smashing his head into the wall behind him.

"Those bastards." He growled out and the vampire flinched once again, terror engulfing him all over again.

"W- we are sorry, we only did as we were told." He whispered urgently through his tears.

"I need you to send a message back to those greesy fools." The second vampire flinched on hearing those words, watching as Blaze pulled away from him and crossed the distance to crouch beside the first vampire who was still beside the tree he had been thrown against, breath clearly labored.

The first vampire had tried moving after Blaze went to face his partner. He had tried escaping, but he found out that he couldn’t move. Terror rushed through his veins as Blaze crouched before him right now.

"The first mistake you made was agreeing to this mission. The second and biggest mistake you made was laying your filthy hands and lips over his body."

As the first vampire watched Blaze speak, the terror in his chest heightened and he began to plead for his life. The look in Blaze’s eyes was inky dark, and somehow, the vampire could feel something else emitting from Blaze, a powerful force which a normal werewolf wasn’t supposed to be emitting.

He didn’t get the chance to dwell on that for long, because Blaze rose to his feet and effortlessly picked him up, lifting him in the air with a strong grip around his throat that had him wheezing immediately.

The second vampire eyes bulged out of his throat as he watched the entire thing unfold, completely frozen in place.

"How many people does it take to send a message?"

The second vampire’s eyes almost flew out of his sockets after Blaze asked him that question, but before he could respond, he watched as Blaze flung the first vampire upwards, impaling him on the sharp edge of a tree branch, which ended up protruding from his chest.

Terror consumed the second vampire who sank to the ground, limbs shaking and eyes bulging as his entire body shook with fright.

Blaze has killed his partner. Blaze has killed his partner!

Those thoughts were still dancing around his mind when Blaze materialized in front of him, causing him to let out a panicked, strangled scream as he tried escaping into the wall behind him.

Blaze crouched in front of him, dark eyes sending another wave of terror through the second vampire.

"If a word about this gets out to anyone apart from the exact person who sent you and your partner on this mission, consider yourself dead, because I’d find you and kill you. Got it?"

The second vampire nodded his head frantically, panic coursing through every inch of his body at once.

"The exact thing you’re to tell you boss goes like this ’The boy belongs to Blaze, and he says no one else can have him’. That’s the only thing you can say to the principal and nothing else, got it?"

The vampire nodded his head frantically, wanting to be away from this scene as fast as possible. He still couldn’t believe that his partner and one of his closest friends got killed tonight, and he knew Blaze hadn’t been bluffing on warning him that he’d come find and kill him if a word about tonight’s incident gets out.

As Blaze rose to his full height, fear gripped the second vampire’s chest, especially after a dark grin stretched out on Blaze’s face, who was currently staring down at him.

"How many legs do you need to deliver a message?" He asked and the second vampire’s eyes widened, fright morphing into stark horror as realization dawned on him, but before he could get a word out, Blaze was stepping on one of his legs with all his entire weight until a bone snapped, right as a sharp cry spill past the second vampire’s mouth.

"Crawl all the way to your boss and deliver that message tonight." The second vampire frantically nodded through his tears, reaching for his dislocated knee and then sharply pulling away as pain shot through his broken hands.

He has been completely and utterly fucked tonight.

With fright and terror lodged in his throat, he watched as Blaze slowly walked towards the half dressed boy who had been completely unconscious throughout the entire ordeal. He watched as Blaze lifted the boy in his two arms, face blank as he held the slender boy against his chest while rising to his feet.

As the slender boy’s head limply laid against Blaze’s chest, the vampire flinched when Blaze glanced at him one last time with so much promise of pain in his eyes, right before he disappeared with the boy, leaving the vampire to burst into tears as he screamed into the night.

Jules’ pov

When I blinked my eyes open, pain swam through my head sharply, in forceful waves, causing me to whine as I gripped the side of my head while forcing my eyes open,

I glanced around as soon as my eyes got used to the bright lights, and gradually, where I currently am began to slowly dawn on me.

I was currently in Blaze’s bed, completely cocooned in a blanket. When I peeked underneath the blanket, I realized that I was naked from the waist up, pants unbuttoned.

My mouth fell open and that realization made an embarrassed feeling rush through my mind as I tried to remember what had happened, and where my top was at.

The last thing I remember was leaving Kai’s room.

I tried to remember what happened after that, and that was when it all rushed through my mind at once. My hands flew over my cheeks on recollecting how much I had been backhanded by that vampire before I finally lost consciousness.

Those two vampires had held me captive. I remember that clearly now.

But what happened after I passed out and why am I currently in Blaze’s bed?

I was still trying to figure out what had actually happened and why I was currently here, completely unharmed, when the sound of a door opening made me tense up at once.

My eyes darted towards the bedroom doorway, and there stood Blaze, watching me with an unreadable expression.
