Dark Magus Returns-Chapter 1190: Pagna History
The voice had turned many heads, and seeing the recognition of the person whom many of the people were questioning had put them in their place. The rowdy ones that were speaking up before no longer said anything.
A lot of them knew Raze's strength now; they had seen it firsthand, and they knew the strength of the allies who had already publicly said they supported him.
The Demonic Faction was the faction that respected strength above all, and it was becoming clearer to everyone, without a doubt, that this was the strongest person in the Demonic Faction and the Dark Faction.
Even if they didn't want to be by his side or weren't necessarily an ally, they would all respect him.
While walking through the crowd of people, Raze was making his way to his allies, and it didn't go unnoticed, the helmet he was holding by his side.
Shay was sheepishly following Raze, with nervous looks on her face. She had not too long ago been an enemy of everyone. The only good thing was, due to her fighting the Crimson Crane instantly, and then the Dark Magus, she hadn't actually done any personal damage to the Demonic Faction members.
And, without her helmet, there weren't many that recognized her. There were those who just thought Raze was carrying the helmet as some type of trophy for what had occurred.
When Raze reached the others, he turned around to face the rest of the Demonic Faction, but instantly, those close to him could notice.
His footsteps were weak. His complexion didn't look the same, and even his eyes appeared as if they were heavy. They wondered what he had done.
Had he really gone to Alter, and had now come back to the Demonic Faction so fast? What could he have even done in such a short time, and was he hurt?
There was one person who didn't care about the eyes of others and instantly went up to Raze. She held the Lux spear in her hand as she placed her hand on Raze's back, and a warm feeling was felt going through his entire body.
"You're hurt…I can tell, and I'm not just talking about inside, Raze…you're really hurt," Safa said, tears almost welling up inside again. She could see something with her god eyes.
Around his magic core, it appeared damaged, and the power surrounding him. When healing him even now, she could feel the damage that had occurred throughout his body.
"I can make you feel better, Raze…" Safa softly spoke, so that Raze was the only one who could hear her. "But the damage to the rest of your body, to your organs…I can't reverse what's happened."
Although Raze had gotten better with touching, he still didn't like being approached, but he realized that his body no longer had a certain jerk reaction when one person touched him, and that was the one who was touching him now.
Because never did Safa have any malice towards him in any way when being touched, and it was strange because she was, and always had been able to see even more compared to others.
"It's okay, I know, just do your best to get me back to what you can," Raze replied back and then brought his attention back to the crowd in front of him.
"Everyone!" Raze shouted. "I am the Dark Magus, and here behind me is everyone who has fought along my way. Some of them aren't here who fought next to me…because they were taken due to this fighting.
"I can't promise that more lives won't be lost if you fight with me. I can't promise to protect anyone, I can't promise that I will be fighting for you…but then again, does that even matter, is that the Demonic Faction's way?" Raze asked.
"I…haven't been in this world of Pagna long; I can't force you to do anything you don't wish to do. I have my own fight that I am battling, against the Light Faction, against Alter, against whoever gets in my way.
"I'm here to tell you one thing. I, the Dark Magus, am going to take out all of them—the Light Faction, Alter, everyone who hurt those that I cared about today.
"Tomorrow when the sun rises, I will be setting out, and anyone is free to come with me. For those that stand by my side in the morning, I will see them as an ally; for everyone else, I will see them as an enemy."
That was all Raze had said, and finishing his talking, he didn't even let anyone ask him questions because he was already walking off.
He was heading back into the original waiting room that had been given to him and his allies when they had first arrived at the Alter faction.

The only thing was, to get to where he needed to be, he needed to walk past the Clan members that had come out for the meeting. Raze didn't try to walk around them; he just walked ahead.
Rayna was worried; what if the clan members pulled him, wanted to ask more questions, or got in his way? What would happen?
Instead, what she saw was the Demonic Clan members spreading out to the side, getting out of Raze's way. They had made a clear path for him as he walked to the building, and as he walked past, the clan members bowed their heads down.
They waited until he completely walked past them before raising their heads again. Until Raze was finally inside. The rest of the clan members turned to where Raze was and started to break off, getting in their various carriages and more, all of them heading back to their clans.
"What are they doing?" Tilion asked.
"They're heading back to their clans to gather their members for tomorrow," Alba answered with a smile.
The largest battle in Pagna history was soon to start.
