DB: Legendary Super Saiyan Bloodline at the Start-Chapter 18: The Great Elder
Chapter 18 - The Great Elder
"Why don't we just take the initiative and attack first?"
Cado said with a calm smile to the other two.
After dealing with Dodoria, it was obvious Frieza would send more henchmen their way.
He wasn't about to waste time playing cat and mouse with underlings.
Frieza typically stayed in his first form, with a power level of just 530,000.
As long as he didn't get the chance to transform, Frieza wouldn't be a threat.
"Yeah, fine by me."
Goku responded casually.
By now, he understood he probably wasn't going to do much here—more like a backup dancer than a main act.
Still, if he got to watch Cado fight powerful enemies, that was worth the trip.
"Uh, could we wait just a second?" Piccolo suddenly spoke up.
Cado and Goku turned to him, puzzled.
"What's up, Piccolo? You got some relatives to visit or something?"
Goku joked, half serious.
He knew Piccolo had grown up on Earth—how could he have any relatives out here?
"Something like that..." Piccolo said slowly.
"That way—there's this strange feeling, like something's been calling me." He pointed in a direction.
Goku didn't mind either way. As long as he got to tag along, he was good.
Cado thought about it for a moment, then nodded.
"Alright, let's check it out first."
"Thank you!"
Piccolo quickly thanked him, then shot off toward the horizon.
Seeing how eager Piccolo was, Cado and Goku exchanged a helpless glance and followed.

Meanwhile, in a village on Namek—
Dozens of Namekian corpses lay scattered on the ground.
Next to them stood a group of alien soldiers, each with distinct appearances but dressed in identical, well-equipped battle gear.
All of them stood respectfully before a small figure seated in a hovering pod.
This was the feared emperor of the universe—Frieza.
"Lord Frieza, we've lost contact with Dodoria's scouter. He's most likely been killed."
The report came from a handsome man with long green hair—Frieza's other top general, Zarbon.
"Oh? Looks like these visitors aren't exactly friendly. Maybe they're also after the Dragon Balls."
Frieza said with a cold smile, his eyes sharp.
"We can't say for sure..."

"Hm? Lord Frieza, they've started moving...!" Zarbon said, staring at the display on his scouter.
"Doesn't matter what they're here for. Since they came, let's make sure they don't leave."
"I'll leave it to you, Zarbon."
Frieza said flatly, though his sinister expression sent a chill through the air.
"Yes, sir!"
Zarbon placed the Dragon Ball in his hand down carefully, then took off toward the direction shown on the scouter.
"Let's go to the next village."
Frieza ordered, flying off.
His men quickly gathered the collected Dragon Balls and followed.

Back in the sky—
"Piccolo, are we there yet?"
Goku flew up beside him.
"Almost."
Piccolo replied, eyes locked on the horizon.
Cado followed quietly behind.
Having read the original story, he could more or less guess who Piccolo was heading to meet.
It had to be the Grand Elder of Namek.
Cado had his reasons for agreeing to this little detour, too.
The Grand Elder possessed a unique ability—to awaken a person's hidden potential.
Since Cado carried the bloodline of a Super Saiyan God, there was no telling how much untapped power lay dormant within him.
If it could be unlocked, that might just be the edge he needed to beat Frieza.
"We're here!"
Piccolo stopped suddenly, hovering mid-air.
Below them stood a massive dome-shaped structure.
The three of them slowly descended to the palace gates.
Cado looked at the enormous building and felt a sense of excitement.
'Just as I thought. Now, let's see if the Grand Elder is willing to help.'
Piccolo stepped forward to enter—
But before he could, the doors opened, and a Namekian stepped out to block their path.
"Huh? Another Piccolo?"
Goku looked at the newcomer, clearly surprised.
"I'm Nail. The Grand Elder sent me to welcome you."
Nail introduced himself briefly, then turned and headed inside.
"Nail? Looks a lot like Piccolo..."
Goku leaned toward Cado and whispered.
Cado smiled. "Let's head in."
They followed Piccolo into the building.
Inside, what met them was a massive, ancient-looking Namekian.
Even though Cado had mentally prepared himself, seeing the Grand Elder in person still made his heart skip a beat.
Goku, on the other hand, couldn't hold back a loud exclamation.
His outburst immediately earned him a disapproving glare from Nail.
Goku laughed awkwardly and scratched his head.
"You, child. Come here. Let me take a look at you."
The Grand Elder's voice was gentle.
As the guardian of Namek, he was aware of everything that happened on the planet.
The moment Piccolo set foot on Namek, the Grand Elder had sensed his presence.
He had been curious—why would someone of his race arrive from space?
So he used his powers to subtly draw Piccolo in.
Piccolo didn't resist and walked forward.
The Grand Elder placed a hand on his head.
About a minute passed—then his eyes lit up with realization.
"So that's it... You're Katas' son! I'm amazed. To think you survived and made it all the way to Earth..."
The Grand Elder let out a long sigh, full of emotion.
Goku's face was filled with confusion.
Piccolo looked just as lost.
Cado, having already known the backstory, remained calm.
Seeing their puzzled expressions, the Grand Elder began to explain Piccolo's origins.
"So that's how it is..."
Piccolo nodded slowly, like he was processing memories from another lifetime.
He felt something stir inside him.
"And thank you all."
the Grand Elder said warmly, turning to Cado and Goku.
"Coming all this way to help Namek fight back against the enemy—it means a lot."
Through Piccolo's memories, the Grand Elder had learned the story of their journey.
No matter their personal motives, it was clear these two were good-hearted people.
"Thank you, Grand Elder. We came here to stop Frieza." Cado replied respectfully.
"But he's extremely powerful. I'm worried I may not be strong enough."
"I can feel it—you're strong already. But more than that, you're overflowing with potential."
"Step forward. Let me help you awaken it."
The Grand Elder smiled gently and beckoned Cado forward.
