Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent-Chapter 196
Chapter 196: Chapter 196
With the increase of spending time in the dungeons, even with some time in loot dungeons for Zara, Aaron was able to level up faster.
The reason is that all his skills and attributes are so high that he can literally clear levels in minutes. Also, with his strength partially known, he didn’t hide as much as he used to.
With the increasing threats out there, he doesn’t have such a luxury anymore. He needed to level up as much as he could before the academy would ship them out as they did in the fourth year, especially since the first year is about to end soon, and they would become second-year students.
Aaron was able to increase his level to 230 from level 196, a total of 34 levels. There are only a few changes in the status, even a lucky change.
His new status looks as follows.

There were improvements in attributes, as usual. The greatest improvement was an increase in his luck value, which he was able to increase by two points.
Even with those increased attributes, whether they are general, hidden or special attributes, there were still more than twenty-five thousand FSPs remaining, half of whom were required to increase luck by another point.
Sooner than later, his luck would reach 10 points and he was looking for to that.
There was a reason why Aaron was looking forward; in fact, everyone would do so. Though there was no mention of the point limit of luck, there was something mentioned there.
Luck is not like Strength or Perception. It was neither a general attribute nor a hidden attribute. It is a special attribute.
There was a reason why they are called Special Attributes. They have something special about them, unlike other attributes. When these attributes reach a certain value, they would dole out a special ability or something.
This would vary from person to person, but what remains constant is the point milestone, and that special ability would be linked to the special attribute.
For luck, 10 points is the milestone. There are references that 100 points is the second milestone, but no one was able to reach that, at least none recorded that fact for the public to know.
It was the same for other special attributes as well, but their milestones would not be as same as Luck.
Anyway, Aaron was looking for the special gift that he would get from Luck when it reached 10 points.
Coming to the skill section, he earned a lot of SPs, but he remained silent about using them, as they were saved to improve Summon Skeletons in one shot. He has no idea how many SPs would be needed to do that, but he estimates them to be at least 100,000 SPs or maybe even more.
He was already half there. Once the value reaches 100,000 SPs, he would attempt to raise his Undead Skeleton skill rank and try to reach the Gold Rank if possible, though he has a feeling that it might not be possible, but he can’t keep those SPs there for too long.
Unused resources are synonymous with waste.
As he didn’t use any SPs, there were no improvements in skills. Even though he used skills every day, more than he used to, with them already at a high rank, they didn’t improve. Whatever improvements were made are minimal, and it would take a long time before they can improve by a rank.
Aaron decided not to use SPs anymore on skills that can be improved by usage, as he has a feeling with how things were going, he would soon face a SPs crisis, where he would not have enough SPs to improve his skills.
Even in the highest realm of skills, is gold rank, they would consume a lot of SPs or skill improvement treasures to reach that rank. It would consume a lot for just one to reach that realm. How many would it take for ten to reach such a realm?
So, he won’t be using SPs for every skill.
One might think, if he who has a 100x perk for SPs and improvement in skill rank faces such a crisis, what about others?
Aaron thought about it, and then he remembered various things that he found.
There are skill improvement treasures. Though they are very weak and might be only useful before reaching Bronze Rank, that was before the planet’s upgradation.
At that time, after centuries, only a hundred reached an uncommon grade, and ten reached the Elite grade. It means there are only ten who have silver rank skills, and ninety who have bronze rank skills.
The highest possible rank is only for a few. Not everyone can reach that stage, and with planet upgrading, resources would increase. What was considered highest would not be highest anymore. A new peak would appear.
Not many would be able to reach Gold rank, but many would reach bronze rank, which was only known to few before and treasures that can directly elivate bronze rank would be sure to appear with the planet upgrade.
When that would be is not his concern. What matters to him is that he and everyone he cares about are strong and safe.

With nothing else to do for the night, Aaron went to sleep, as he has a meeting to attend early in the morning.
The academy summoned all the first-year students, just as they did two months back, when the fourth year students were shipped of to some warzone, while the second year students had to taken the missions that are usually for the third and fourth year while the first year students filled the gaps created by the second year students in the academy as many had taken the missions to earn more credits.
He was sure that something burdensome would happen in the morning and he wanted to take proper rest before he heard such news.
