Demon Hunter and His Cabin-Chapter 151 - 151 Convergence and Information (4)
Chapter 151 -151: Convergence and Information (4) Chapter 151 -151: Convergence and Information (4) “How did you know?”
Ingmar was slightly startled, the above conclusion had been reached through her continuous observation and attempts over the past few days.
For this, she had paid a heavy price.
But it was really just a rough guess, a struggle when there were no other strategies available.
After all, she needed to give herself a goal, otherwise, it would be easy to fall into despair in such a place.
“You’re right, this method is worth trying.”
Roger looked at Ingmar.
“Due to special reasons, I can sense the safe spot I left from, and from the location perspective, they are located precisely vertically!”
“Are you serious?”
A hint of surprise appeared on Ingmar’s face.
Roger nodded, “I can determine the location here using the safe spot where I appeared as the coordinate.”
Roger gestured.
“There might be two more safe spots if we look in the opposite direction of these two spots, and if we’re lucky, our next step will be to find their location!”
“Of course, all this is based on the assumption that the safe spots do not move at random.”
To be honest, Roger was also somewhat worried, but right now, they had no better options.
“I’m not sure about other places, but at least in the past few days since I’ve been here, there has never been a transfer.”
“Alright.”
At this critical moment, Roger could only bolster everyone’s confidence.
“Then we set out now, towards the opposite location.”
Roger drew his weapon and walked in front, with Veronia in the middle and Ingmar bringing up the rear.
There were only 6 hours left, and everyone hastened their pace.
They hadn’t been walking down the straight street for long when the surrounding streets changed amidst a moment of dizziness — it was thanks to a warning from Hunter’s Cabin that Roger noticed the change in direction.
After several changes in direction and a big detour, more than half of the time had passed, and the three were getting closer and closer to that unknown safe spot.
Finally, after turning down several streets, a building appeared in the distance in front of them, and Roger hurried towards it, pushing gently on the door.
The door opened without a sound!
“We were right!”
Ingmar was the first to rush into the room.
“Hathaway!”
“Hathaway!”
She shouted loudly, but the room was empty; Roger activated Hunter Vision, but found no signs of activity there.
“They’re not here.”
“They must be in another place.”
Roger closed his eyes, sketching a simple map in his mind.
He had been to three safe spots already and had a vague conjecture about the last place.
At least four hours had elapsed since they had set out, and the next advent of the dense mist was not far away.
Roger opened his backpack.
“Eat something and rest a bit. When the mist clears, we’ll go to the other place.”
Despite Ingmar’s desperation to save her daughter, she knew Roger’s suggestion was the right one. But before the three could finish the food in their mouths, a gunshot suddenly rang out from the end of the street in the distance!
Bang bang bang!
Gunshots fired one after another, and Roger’s face changed — the rhythm of the gunfire was identical to Henrik’s.
“Are they in danger?”
“Didn’t you say there were no monsters during the day?”
Ingmar’s face also looked very ugly.
“I don’t know; at least I’ve never seen roaming monsters during the day.”
“You stay here. We’ll go take a look!”
Roger hastily instructed Veronia, drawing the Steel Sword before rushing out, with Ingmar naturally following close behind with her gun.
They had only run a few steps when Roger looked back and saw that Veronia had followed.
“What are you doing following us?”
“There must have been a fight up ahead, we won’t be able to look out for you when things kick off.”
Veronica’s face was filled with a crying tone.
“It’s terrifying to stay in the house alone, I’d rather be killed by monsters than that!”
“Stay out of the way later, and don’t come near!”
Roger gave an instruction and then hastened his pace, but just then, the scenery around them changed, the abrupt shift immediately made them lose their bearings.
Fortunately, another gunshot rang out, and Roger also heard Henrik’s swearing.
“Hang in there, I’m near you guys!”
Roger shouted loudly.
“Roger?”
“You’re still alive, kid?!” Surprise filled Henrik’s voice.
“Hathaway, how are you?”
“Mommy!”
Hearing her daughter’s voice, Ingmar finally breathed a sigh of relief.
“Be careful, we are on our way!”
After some effort, just before the surrounding environment changed again, the trio of Roger managed to see Henrik across the street.
Henrik and Hathaway were back-to-back against a building, and around them was a thick cluster of something like white mist.
Henrik held a gun in each hand, firing bursts of white light from the barrels that fell upon those beasts, whose white bodies melted away like snow.
Hathaway’s face was pale, her hands clutching a magazine, her fingers all stained with fresh blood, clearly, her spiritual power was exhausted, and she could only rely on her own blood to enchant Henrik’s bullets.
Ingmar fired two bullets, but they passed through the bodies of the creatures with no effect whatsoever.
Roger was not sure whether the Evil Spirit Oil would work, but he still activated the mechanism in the Sword Sheath and drew his weapon to charge forward.
Swish, swish, swish!
The Steel Sword hacked into those white creatures, who contorted and let out agonizing screams; although the damage was not as great as Hathaway’s spiritually charged bullets, it was more enduring.
With Roger joining in, Henrik’s pressure was greatly reduced.
It didn’t take long to eliminate the surrounding monsters.
“What’s going on, how can you encounter monsters even without the mist?”
Roger asked with some confusion.
Henrik reloaded with a new magazine and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
“I don’t know what’s happening either, we reached a special building not long ago, but before we could get close, a pale Monster Spirit suddenly sprang out.”
“That was a real Transcendent Being.”
Fear showed on Henrik’s face.
“I fired a Mercury Bullet to drive that creature away, but right after that, we got entangled with this bunch, falling back in battle until you guys arrived here.”

The Mercury Bullets Henrik referred to were not ordinary bullets plated with silver or mercury as portrayed in the movies.
Here, the silver referred to blood.
Bullets soaked with the silver-colored blood that possesses special energy from the Blood Hunter Family.
Each one was incredibly valuable.
And of course, their power was extraordinary.
If it weren’t for that shot a moment ago, Henrik and Hathaway might have already been dead.
“The Mist will appear soon, we should get out of here first.”
Roger suggested.
He still had a vague sense of location in his mind, and if they hurried, they should be able to return to the safe point they had been at before the Mist descended.
“Alright.”
Henrik seemed okay, but Hathaway was extremely weak; Veronica quickly stepped forward to help support her.
Seeing the real Veronica, Henrik couldn’t avoid being surprised.
“The place we just went to must be the core of this Cursed Land.”
“If we want to leave here, we must uncover the secrets there.”
Henrik sighed, a twinge of worry visible in his eyes.
A place guarded by a Monster Spirit, do they really have a chance to break through with just a few of them?
