The fifteenth Golden Melody Awards ceremony was held at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall on Taiwan Island on May 8.

A total of 56 music companies, 409 albums, and 5247 works were registered for this year's Golden Melody Awards, with the organizers announcing the shortlist in March, ultimately resulting in 125 works being nominated across 27 award categories.

Most of the nominees were local singers from Taiwan Island, including Jelun, Jolin Tsai, Penny Dai, Tanya Chua, Wu Sikai, Harlem Yu, Mayday, Shin Band, etc., as well as singers from beyond Taiwan Island, such as Link, Princess, Wang Lihong, Lin Junjie, Mo Wenwei, Liang Jingru, Chen Yixun, etc.

Compared with the Hong Kong Island Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Awards, the Taiwan Island Golden Melody Awards are somewhat more inclusive.

Link, along with Zhang Yadong and Princess, came to Taiwan Island to attend the Golden Melody Awards ceremony where he was also invited by the organizers to perform "Long Time No See," the song with the highest play count in Taiwan Island.

"I come to your city, walk the road you traveled, imagining your days without me, how lonely you must be, holding the photo you gave me..."

On the dazzlingly lit stage, Link, sporting a neat haircut, dressed in a black suit, seated before a Steinway piano, performed alone—playing and singing. The piano sounded melodious and his voice was clear, rich, and magnetic, soothing to the ears.

His solid singing skills and strong stage presence made the performance exceptionally moving.

On stage, there was also a pair of ballet dancers, dancing elegantly to his singing and piano music.

And in the audience below, hundreds of formally dressed singers and thousands of fans watched Link at the piano, listening quietly to the music and singing, some with their eyes closed as if lost in Link's voice.
