After returning to the hotel, Link took a hot shower, heated up a cup of purified water, and sat in front of the hotel's floor-to-ceiling window to call Zhang Zilin while also replying to many friends who sent him congratulatory messages.

Zhang Zilin asked him if he had been drinking.

Link said no, it wasn't convenient to drink while away from home.

Zhang Zilin mentioned that there were many beauties in Taiwan Island and asked if it was true.

Link said it was true, but none of them were as pretty as her, no one looked better nor had such long legs.

Zhang Zilin laughed happily and told him to go to bed early, and to come back earlier the next day.

Link agreed.

Among those who sent him congratulatory messages were Gao Yuanyuan, Brother Xun, Pu Shu, Xia Yu, Du Juan, Yu Na, Tang Yan, Bai Baihe, Director Wang Xiaoshuai, and others, including the newly-acquainted Lin Zhilin and Liang Jingru.

Link chose a few new contacts to reply to, deciding to catch up with familiar people when he saw them later, so as not to be disturbed by a stream of messages after replying and affect his rest.

After replying to Lin Zhilin, she asked when he would return to Capital City.

Link said tomorrow afternoon.

Lin Zhilin regretfully said that she had wanted to invite him to her hosted TV show "Trend Tracker".

Link said with the Olympics approaching, his training schedule was quite tight, but he would have more time after the Olympics.

Lin Zhilin was delighted and said she would invite him to the show after the Olympics and also asked him to talk about the Olympic competition.

Lin Zhilin made a reservation with him in advance and hoped he wouldn't decline it.

Link agreed.

Lin Zhilin wished him success in winning gold at the Olympics.

Link expressed his gratitude.

Knock, knock, knock!

While replying to messages, there was a knock on the door.

Without a bodyguard outside and unsure who it was, Link peered through the peephole, then opened the door to see Princess standing there in slippers, a pink and white pajama outfit, revealing two slender cold-white legs, holding a bottle of red wine in her hand, saying she couldn't sleep and wanted to find someone to talk to, asking if it was convenient for him.

Link invited her in.

"Are you alone?"

Princess looked around the room and asked.

"This is Taipei, I don't have acquaintances here, so naturally, I'm alone."

Link took down a wine glass from the cabinet and handed it to her.

"Does that mean if you were in the Mainland, you'd have company when you sleep at night?"

Princess teased.

Link shook his head and invited her to sit on the sofa.

"How come there's only one wine glass? Don't you drink?"

"I'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking, better not to drink."

"No way, it's no fun for me to drink alone. You're a grown man, you can't tell me you can't handle one glass of wine."

Princess, with her feet bare on the carpet, got another wine glass and then with a guzzle, poured two full glasses.

"Come on! Cheers!"

Princess handed him a glass of wine and said.

Link shook his head, clinked glasses with her, sipped a bit, and then set it down.

Princess scolded him for not being fun, saying what was wrong with a man having a few drinks.

Link said that if he drank too much, he might act foolishly and possibly do something inappropriate, especially with only one woman in the room, so it's better not to drink too much.

"Inappropriate things to me? Really? I'm so much older than you, an unattractive old woman, would you still make a move?"

Princess asked with a half-smile.

"Princess is a mature, beautiful, and charming woman, so I have to be careful."

Link shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm not afraid. If you dare to make a move, I'll wake you up with a beating. Come on, cheers!"

Princess picked up her glass to clink with his.

With a slight smile, Link raised his glass, touched hers, and took another sip under Princess's gaze.

The two sat on the sofa drinking and chatting. Princess saw a guitar in the room and asked him to play a song.

Link cradled the guitar and sang "Love Transfer". After finishing, Princess asked him to play "Because of Love" and wanted to sing along with him.

Link played the intro and sang a couple of lines, Princess leaned on his shoulder, swinging her pale legs, picking up the female part of the song.

Their voices blending together, the atmosphere was so quiet and intimate, it felt like a level higher in quality than the song they had collaborated on in the recording studio.

Princess asked him to continue singing other songs.

Link paused for a moment and started singing a new song, "That Year."

"That Year, we were so naive, always staring at the same face, so inexplicable, so pleasing...

While he was singing the new song, Princess sat up straight, watching him intently, following the rhythm of the song.

"What song is this?"

After he finished, Princess eagerly asked.

"I've been writing a new song. I only had half of it done, no inspiration. Just now, after singing with you, the inspiration suddenly came, and I completed it. What do you think?"

Link asked, holding the guitar.

"It's very nice, unexpectedly you have such talent, casually written but still a good song."

Princess eyed him as she said.

"Take out the 'unexpectedly'. I've always been talented."

Link shrugged.

"Conceited!"

Princess glanced at him and asked for him to sing it again.

Link sang it once more, Princess hummed along, her gaze tightly locked with his as he sang.

Midway through the song, Princess leaned into his arms, gazing at him, her eyes becoming misty.

Link set aside the guitar and gently caressed her cheek. At 35, she wasn't young, but well-maintained = her skin was still fair and smooth, and to him, who had experienced people in their eighties and nineties, she was still a fresh and tempting woman.

He kissed the woman's rosy lips tenderly.

Princess, however, wrapped her arms around him, becoming passionate.

Link was not displeased.
