Cedric opened his eyes and found himself in an unfamiliar place...

His mind stilled for a bit before recalling where he was; only then did he relax. He felt weights pressing down on his chest and arms. Giving it a glance, he saw the heads of his wives, and warmth instantly flooded his entire body.

'That's right, I'm home.'

To be more specific, it's been a week since he came home to Solaris Prime and Prime Earth. It's just that he essentially trapped himself and his wives in this room for the entire week, doing nothing but basking in each other's presence to make up for the lost time.

By the looks of it, his wives are going to need more rest because he had been a little eager. So, he silently slipped out of the bed to get up. Of course, he didn't forget to leave them a note so that they won't freak out about his disappearance when they wake up.

Leaving the master bedroom, Cedric made his way to the kitchen to make some breakfast. Afterwards, he went into the garden with his meal to enjoy it there.

He basked in the peace and silence of this place. He would like to pat his past self's back in approval for choosing to create this realm. This place, being stationed in the sky, was far from the noise and strife of the people below. Here, there is real peace and tranquility that penetrates one soul, allowing them to completely relax.

Even his weathered and workaholic soul was being healed just by being in this place. But of course, it's more effective because his family was around.

Speaking of his family, his kids were bound to return soon.

Godwyn, Gilderoy, and Gerald weren't in Prime Earth; they're also not in Solaris Prime. They left around seven years ago, deciding to physically explore the alliance to not only build connections but also search for their personal fortunes.

Their mothers were initially against this. But they also understood that they can't keep their boys by their side forever. They will eventually fly out of the nest; they need to learn how to fend for themselves and learn how to be independent. And so, they had no choice but to let them go. They stayed connected through the Virtual Universe, though, and by the looks of it, they're not doing so bad.

Gerald said that he was exploring the tomb of a fallen cosmic-level expert with his friends. He has reached the Grand Solar Grandmaster Realm and doesn't really have any bottlenecks to speak of, so technically, there was no need to risk himself like this. However, he was indebted to one of his friends who had helped him in his time of need, and the assistance was anything but small too.

Cedric raised his kids with outstanding moral values, so it would make sense why Gerald wouldn't hesitate to repay the graciousness given to him. Besides, the tomb wasn't all that dangerous. Sure, there are chances of dying inside, but it only occurs to those who are disrespectful and enemies of the fallen cosmic-level expert. Gerald and his friends were not one of them, so they would be fine.

Besides, if Gerald's life were to truly be in danger, Cedric would know, and he would arrive by his side just in time. Even a cosmic-level expert wouldn't be able to prevent him from saving his beloved son.

As for Gilderoy, he's on a chase...

No, he's hunting someone...more like courting them. You see, he has been enamored with a Mystic Fae. The kid even said that it was 'love at first sight,' and he has been unstoppable since. His mother, Chrissy, was very supportive of his endeavors too.

Unfortunately for Gilderoy, the apple of his eye was all but ordinary. The fact that she's a Mystic Fae and he's human already makes this complicated; after all, Mystic Fae ladies are known to not settle for less. Plus, Gilderoy's target was a Fae Princess.

Rumors said that she carries the bloodline of an old Fae monarch forgotten by history, which explains her talent and grace. Even though these were just rumors, they were neither confirmed nor denied by the lady, making her more mysterious and elusive.

This meant that Gilderoy had a ton of competition, and if the rumors were true, then his chances were even lower because she would most likely end up with a Fae Prince.

If she's truly a descendant of an old monarch whose bloodline has declined, and if it's proven that she's the last one, then it is her rightful duty to restore it. She can't be with anybody who's less than a prince, and she also couldn't be with anybody that's not a Mystic Fae, either.

If Gilderoy truly wants her, then he would have to move literal mountains to get to her. Even then, his chances are not so great. But no matter what, Cedric would watch over him. He won't allow his son to suffer too much loss.

And finally, there's Godwyn...

He, who's still serving as the 2nd Governor of Solaris Prime, was on a 'business trip.'. Truth be told, humanity has already made their presence known to the alliance, but only to a few. And this was because of Godwyn's decision.

This might sound a little ridiculous, but Godwyn actually opened up restaurants within the Outer Circle. There were only a few, but each one has brought immense wealth and renown to humanity.

Yes, Godwyn discovered that 'culinary arts' was a unique thing to humans, and he totally capitalized on it. Since then, business had been booming. So much so that he needed to train up more chefs because there are simply not enough people to meet the demand. They have a lot of customers, after all.

He had sent chefs all over the Outer Circle and built connections through this business. And through this, he earned a lot of funds, treasures, and favors. Most of them were used to upgrade humanity's well-being.

By now, terraforming other planets was no longer a problem for humans. In fact, in just ten short years since Cedric disappeared, humanity turned at least ten more planets into their home. The repopulation efforts are still going strong and could be fully supported by the Federation.

The overall technology and security of Solaris Prime have been raised too. Even without Roderika, many would still find it difficult to invade humanity's territory; it'd be even more difficult for them to hide.

Well, Cedric was obviously above these security measures, but that's not the point. The point is that humanity was well defended now; it no longer needs to rely on him alone.

Godwyn's act of spreading his business empire not only made him friends but also enemies. And for humanity to rise even higher, Godwyn had to expand his network; that's why he had to leave.

One must say that he has truly taken the role of a governor very well. Passing the position to him might be one of the best decisions Cedric ever made.

As for Gilderoy and Godwyn's life evolution, they're around the same level as Gerald, meaning that they didn't fall behind or neglect their personal growth.

Overall, they're doing very well, and Cedric was proud of them. His wives were also doing just fine; they're just not as adventurous as the boys.

Spreading his sense to cover the expanded territory of humanity, Cedric felt his heart full. It wouldn't be wrong to say that humanity was already in its Golden Age and it's just starting.

If someone were to tell him that a day like this would happen back then, Cedric would most likely laugh at them and call them delusional. It was, after all, hard to believe, given how humans were terribly suppressed by the Demon Race.

Yet here they are now. A lot of work was done to achieve this state, but all of it was worth it. This level of prosperity still can't be compared to other races with long histories within the alliance, but everybody has to start somewhere, and for humanity, their humble beginnings have already begun.

And while humans were a common sight within the physical location of the alliance, they've certainly begun carving their space within the virtual universe. In fact, the virtual universe has already rooted itself deeply into humanity's modern life, and people were beginning to explore the real prosperity behind it to search for their own.

Acala, the consciousness of Prime Earth, has had her own fortunes. Just from a single glance, Cedric could tell that she's on the verge of yet another breakthrough because she's been extremely lucky lately.

Seeing this, Cedric was tempted. He thought, why be satisfied with just being a World Spirit? Why not turn her into a cosmic spirit, too?

What he meant was to make Acala not just Prime Earth's but the entirety of Solaris Prime's spiritual consciousness. He had all the necessary tools and resources to help her, so why not?

However, this will ultimately depend on whether Acala wants to or not.
