Cedric spent five years teetering between complete and semi-lucidity as his breakthrough happened.

Most of the time, his mind is completely immersed in the sensations; sometimes he would regain some semblance of awareness to know what's happening around him.

His inner world manifested steadily throughout the entire process. With the protection of the chancellors themselves, his security truly couldn't get any better than this.

Strangely enough, though, despite his steady breakthrough, Cedric never showed any outrageous changes in his physical form, unlike others before him. He still looked relatively the same; his appearance was greatly enhanced, but that's about it.

It couldn't be compared to the changes within him.

As his inner world completed its manifestation with reality, the embryos of concept laws within him finally broke out of their shells. Kaleidoscopic colors flooded every corner of his inner world. The presence of concept laws became so rich that it almost overwhelmed the presence of Chaos Energy.

As the concept laws spread their influence all over his Inner World, strange reactions and mutations occurred. As certain laws combined or clashed, they produced unique manifestations that altered the Inner World ever so slightly. And given how frequently this happened, the changes became very obvious real quick.

Cedric benefitted from this, greatly so. Every manner of law interaction happening within him brought a wave of insights that automatically fused with his being. These insights transcend mere comprehension because they embedded themselves directly into his flesh, blood, sinews, and marrow, and some were even imprinted directly onto his soul.

He doesn't need to 'study' these insights because they're already a part of him — and intuition, per se. Even as he exists as he is, he will understand these concepts and insights. There was no need for him to go into long periods of seclusion, blindly searching and hoping to catch glimpses of them, leaving everything else to chance and luck. That alone was a huge fundamental difference between insights brought by comprehension and intuitive insights.

The best part is that this wouldn't overwhelm him. Even without his numerous thought chambers, which could help him digest all the insights he gained, he would be fine. All he really needed was time and practice.

At this point, the only difference between his Inner World and the Primeval Scarlet Dust Realm was that his Inner World wasn't surrounded and threatened by hostile void. Actually, there's no void in his Inner World at all, not even an ounce.

In terms of concept law maturity, sure, his Inner World falls behind, but as time goes on, it will eventually catch up. In fact, since his Inner World has an abundance of Chaos Energy, something that the Primeval Scarlet Dust Realm was lacking severely currently, the potential of his Inner World becoming better was even higher.

With the birth of true concept laws and its interactions bringing Cedric more insights even as he lies down and does nothing, Cedric could be said to be the true Lord of Chaos. Even the most elusive concepts like karma, fate, luck, samsara, etc. come to him naturally. It wouldn't take long before he gained sufficient understanding of them, and when he did, he could wield them like he's moving his fingers.

As he is now, Cedric was already beyond what the realm could touch. Normal 'death' can no longer exert any real influence on him. Even if he just stood there and took it, his physical body alone would be able to shrug this off.

It has become impossible for him to die of old age. Time can't erode his youth and lifespan anymore. And even if the entire realm were to blow up with him inside, he'd remain intact. Injured, but intact. With a literal sea of Chaos Energy the size of more than two Cosmic Realms combined and a steady recovery rate, exhausting him was easier said than done. As for directly attacking his soul? Well, in this current day and age, who could truly do something like that? Even the Holy Spirit Chancellor, post-transition, can't do anything to him, so if he couldn't, then who?

All in all, Cedric could only truly die if he wanted to die. And even he would find it extremely challenging to kill himself.

And to think that so many changes could happen in a span of a mere five years...it's almost unbelievable, yet that's just how it is for those who walked the Ancient Chaos Path, it seems. No wonder the Wise Dragon Chancellor was obsessed with it.

While the newly born and still evolving concept laws swarmed through the entirety of his Inner World, they could never truly attain hegemony because that position was reserved for the Primordial Chaos.

Chaos Energy remained supreme within Cedric's Inner World, and it won't be dethroned anytime soon, never if Cedric could help it. Even if the Concept Laws reach the same maturity as that of the realm's, it wouldn't be enough to shake the foundation because Chaos Energy was the source of everything.

And since this was Cedric's Inner World, he decides everything here. Everything here was for his disposal. Even Chaos Energy can't deny him.

At some point, Cedric opened his eyes...

As soon as he did so, something snapped into its place. The space shivered, time stilled, and every possible manifestation of concept laws appeared around him, seemingly paying respects, welcoming, and celebrating his successful breakthrough.

He received an unprecedented honor coming from these cosmic forces, one nobody ever received before. It was a grand spectacle that could be witnessed by everybody if it weren't for Cedric's deliberate suppression.

Of course, this scene was witnessed by the Chancellors, but none of them raised a ruckus. They all thought that this was just normal. If anything, they're just curious as to why Cedric didn't have the same profound physical transformation as they did. But it's no big deal, really.

He briefly acknowledged the grand reception and celebration of the concept laws around him. After that, he dismissed the manifestations to return everything to how it was before.

As he felt his transformation ebbing away, Cedric sighed in relief because his breakthrough went smoother than he initially expected. He turned his attention to the people who stood guard for him during this time and said,

"Thank you for your hard work. I'm all good now."

"Congratulations." Silas stepped forward and congratulated him with a friendly and relieved expression as well. "This is great; we have another pillar that could hold up the skies of our civilization."

"One that is far more durable and younger than the previous ones," the Wise Dragon Chancellor jested as he also looked relieved that Cedric had a smooth breakthrough.

"Oh, shush! You guys aren't that bad." Cedric shook his head, keeping his humble attitude.

"Well, since you've reached this stage, should we call ourselves 'The Seven' now, instead of 'The Six'?" Flint, the Ancient Titan Chancellor, wondered.

"Oh, no, no, no!" Cedric immediately objected to that. "That would be incredibly inappropriate. Although that does sound nice, I don't want my people to become the public enemy of the entire alliance because of it."

"Yes, what he said." The Primal Beast Chancellor agreed, smacking Flint's arm. "Although he indeed qualifies to stand next to us, that's just him; his people are different. If he accepts that arrangement, his people will be targeted, and it will cause great unrest within the alliance. We can't have that right now."

"Gee, sorry." Flint scratched his head in embarrassment. "I was kidding, you know? Didn't think you guys would actually take it seriously."

"There's a ton of other jokes you could've said instead." The Divine Celestial Chancellor shook his head, refusing to say more since the message was clear now.

Honestly, that really spooked Cedric for a moment. He obviously knew that Flint was just joking around, but even so, he didn't want a misunderstanding.

Even though he is qualified to challenge the entire alliance with his raw power to elevate the status of his people, Cedric wouldn't do that. Becoming the enemy of the alliance isn't worth the effort. Besides, that would disrupt the plans his son had for their people, and as a father, the worst thing he could do is to become his son's obstacle.

That's why he felt the need to clarify himself right away.

"Alright, folks. Party's over. Back to business." The Holy Spirit Chancellor graciously dispersed the strange atmosphere.

Turning to Chancellor Igor, the Holy Spirit Chancellor said, "You, do what you have to do. No need to return with us. Just inform us if there's news."

Cedric's eyes flickered. He pondered for a second there, and through his calculations—using the insights brought by Divination Laws—he learned why Chancellor Igor was being chased away. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ

With understanding flashing in his eyes, he too encouraged the old man: "It's alright, sir. We'll be fine on our own. Please attend to your business. We'll be in touch if anything happens that requires your input."

Being a wise dragon, Igor sensed that this kid just performed divination to search for answers instead of just asking a simple question. It's exasperating, but he couldn't really blame the kid, so he relented.

"Alright, alright. I heard' you. I'm going."
