Amelia's sweet laughter resounded into the night, feeling Blaze's heart with immense happiness and love, his heart fluttering like a butterfly drinking sweet nectar.

"Blaze put me down. I'm feeling dizzy." Amelia giggled, holding onto his soft textured hair.

"As Her Highness wishes." Blaze brought her down, his arms firmly wrapped around her and his breath warm against her flushed face. "Have I told you that you look so beautiful, tonight?"

"And have I told you that you are so charming with words?" Amelia replied to his question with another question brushing her lips against his ear lobe, sending an electrifying chill down his spine.

Before they could stop themselves, their lips slowly locked in an intense passionate kiss that left them completely breathless.

When they parted lips, they held on to each other in a warm embrace, their racing heart slowly synchronizing as one.

"So tell me why aren't you in bed, sleeping?" Blaze asked after a few moments of silently watching the moon with Amelia's head resting on his chest.

Amelia exhaled. "I couldn't sleep."

"Why?" Blaze's brows furrowed. "Are you feeling any pain?" He pulled her away to check her body.

"No. I'm fine and so is the baby." Amelia leaned back on his chest, enjoying the warmth of his arms.

"Then what is the problem?"

"I just had a lot in my mind." Amelia felt the weight of the Stevens problem weighing down on her chest afresh.

"Would you like to share?"

Amelia nodded, lifting her head away from Blaze's chest and looking into his gentle gaze, her arms finding their way around his neck.

"I'm feeling guilty like I'm about to make a terrible mistake."

"A mistake!" Blaze arched his brow in confusion. "What mistake?"

Amelia sighed, exhaling as she said. "I feel I should have given Mr Rowland and his son more listening ear. After all, they didn't do anything wrong to me."

Blaze's forehead furrowed.

"But my love, we have talked about this topic before. We agreed that their problems are not our concern. They made their bed when they chose not to pay attention to Tina's misbehaviour. Now it's time to face the consequences of their actions. You shouldn't worry your pretty head about them. They don't deserve our pity. Neither do they deserve our help."

"Then why do I feel this miserable." Amelia lowered her gaze, not wanting Blaze to see the hurt in her eyes.

"Why do I feel like someone's life is hanging on my neck? I can't think without them invading my thoughts and pricking my conscience. I can't sleep because when I close my eyes, I see their crying faces. I shouldn't feel sorry for them but I do. I feel like I owe them."

Blaze let out a frustrated sigh, a blend of love and anger entangling his heart. He lifted Amelia's chin up with his thumb, staring into her moist eyes. He wasn't about to see her shed a tear because of Tina's family.

"What do you suggest we do, because I can't have you worrying about those people?"

"Can you fix the problem?" Amelia asked in a pleading tone.

"Yes, I can ask Echo to handle it. But I don't want to." Blaze replied softly stroking her lips with his thumb.

"Please, baby, help them." Amelia pleaded kissing his thumb.

"But they don't deserve my help." Blaze tried to persuade her, his heart pounding inside his chest at her soft and tempting wet kisses.

"I know they don't deserve it. But let's help nonetheless. Let their conscience be their judge. Saving one innocent life could also spare another. I don't want anyone dying on my conscience. Not even Tina."

Blaze felt weakened, knowing he couldn't say no to his wife.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, I am one hundred percent sure. Please do it for me. For us."

Blaze sighed in resignation.

"If I do this, would it stop you from worrying?"

Amelia's smiles returned. "Yes! It will."

"Okay." Blaze brought out his phone from his pant pocket and dialled Echo's number in front of Amelia. He gave Echo some series of instructions before finally hanging up.

"There, it's all done. Your mind can be at ease now."

"Thank you, baby." Amelia happily hugged him, releasing a sigh of relief as the burden in her heart was gradually lifted.

"Just thank you." Blaze lifted Amelia up, princess style, his eyes glimmering with extreme desire. "Don't I get something more?"

"A peck on the cheek." Amelia pecked him,

giggling as Blaze nuzzled her on the tip of her nose while holding her glimmering gaze.

"And..." Blaze asked, guiding her into her bedroom, his powerful arms holding her close to his chest.

"A pat on the back for a job well done." Amelia teasingly patted him on the back, earning her a tickle on the side that left her squirming and giggling out loud.

"And..." He gently placed her on the bed, his deep husky voice fanning against her flushed face, while he drank in her feminine beauty from her see-through nightgown.

"A delicious homemade dinner prepared by me." Amelia's wandering hands found their way under his grey t-shirts as he climbed over her, resting his weight on his arms.

"How about an innocent kiss for an appetizer," Blaze whispered, brushing his lips against her.

"There is no such thing as innocent with you, dear husband." Amelia welcomed an intense, ravaging kiss from her husband that stole her breath away.

Meanwhile, at the Stevens mansion, the atmosphere remained gloomy.

While Eunice cried herself to sleep, Rowland and his son shared their last father-and-son bonding moments together, drinking and reminiscing on old times.

Very early the following morning, Rowland was looking completely miserable as his son set to leave for the airport. He couldn't let go and he couldn't bring himself to say goodbye for the last time.

"Dad, I'm sorry for the trouble Tina and I have put you and Mom through. I need you to go on living a normal life without me. Maybe this is for the best. Be strong." Kelvin pulled away from his dad's arm, wiping the tears flowing down the corner of his eyes.

"I can't ... I can't lose you too. I can't..."

An incoming call from a strange number interrupted the father and Son's moment.

"Hold on a second," Kelvin said as he swiped the receive button and said.

"Hello."

"This is Echo. It's done."

"Huh!" Kevin's eyes widened in shock.

"Send your gratitude to my boss's wife because she just saved your sorry ass."

The line instantly disconnected, leaving Kelvin screaming for joy.

"They helped us! Mrs Anderson helped us."
