FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 313: Take Me Home
"Sarah, are you alright?" Annabelle asked, observing Sarah's sudden, withdrawn and silent attitude as they stepped out of the mall.
"Yeah." Sarah shrugged, her initial enthusiasm to spend quality time with her bestie all vanished into thin air.
"But you don't look all right." Annabelle persisted, knowing this was because of the incidents that took place in the boutique.
"I'll be fine." Sarah waved her hand dismissively, pushing the shopping cart towards their car.
"Is this because of...."
"Sebastian!" Sarah's gaze narrowed at the young man in a black leather jacket and pants, standing beside the rear side of Annabelle's car, staring at her.
Annabelle's eyes followed her bestie's glares, stunned to see Sebastian waiting for them. She immediately lost her patience with this dude, her nose flaring.
"This young man has got some nerves. Allow me to handle this."
Anabelle marched over to Sebastian while Sarah followed closely behind her.
"What the hell is wrong with you, Sebastian? Are you stalking us?" Anabelle yelled at him, clicking her finger in his face, anger seeping through her voice.
"No! I...."
Sarah didn't give Sebastian any room to reply, and she fired him next.
"How dare you go around, introducing me as your girlfriend? Since when did we start dating that I'm not aware of? And why were you following us around? Do I owe you anything?"
"Sarah, please calm down." Sebastian pleaded, but Sarah was too enraged to let his foolishness slide by.
"Don't tell me that." Sarah snapped angrily, her voice slightly raised, attracting the attention of a few onlookers.
"You may have helped me once but that doesn't give you the freaking right to lay claim to me. Read my lips. I am not your girlfriend." Sarah emphasised the last five words firmly. "I will not have you or any other man, for that matter, asserting undue claim over me. Do you understand?"
Sebastian nodded, a wicked smirk curling up his lips as he said.
"I'm very sorry for my actions, Sarah. Honestly, I wasn't stalking you at all. I just wanted to talk to you briefly before leaving. That was why I came down to the boutique looking for you. But after what Henry said to me at the entrance to the female changing room door..."
"Wait a second! Did you just say Henry?" Sarah raised her brow in surprise.
"Yes!" Sebastian replied innocently. "I met him at the boutique when I came looking for you. He was the one who asked me to leave, threatening that he would rip me apart if I were to come close to you ever again, claiming that you were his girlfriend."
"What!" Annabelle's jaw dropped, her alarmed gaze flickering to Sarah, whose face was looking flustered with rage.
"Is the truth," Sebastian swore, grinning wickedly in his heart. "I'm not lying. You can call him on the phone. But if he denies it, you can go back to the boutique and request to see their camera footage, he was dressed in an army green hoodie sweatpants."
Sarah walked away from Annabelle and Sebastian, dialling Henry's number on her phone with trembling fingers. It connected on the first ring, and she brought the phone to her ear.
"Tell me you didn't follow me here to this shopping mall."
There was a long pause before Henry's subtle voice rapped in her ears. "I'm sorry I did."
Sarah nodded her head, tears pulling at the corners of her eyes as she abruptly ended the call. She stormed back to Annabelle, speaking through clenched teeth.
"Take me home."
"What!" Annabelle's pupils dilated.
"Now, Anna," Sarah screamed, hurrying into the front passenger seat of the car and slamming the door.
Annabelle's expression dampened.
"Let me at least help you with the things in the cart." Sebastian offered, grinning inwardly that Sarah was also mad at Henry.
"I don't need your help." Annabelle hissed like a snake, pushing the shopping trolley roughly to the rear of her car, almost brushing Sebastian in the process. She unlocked her car trunk and angrily transferred everything in the cart into the trunk, occasionally cursing under her breath while Sebastian watched in pleasure.
Sebastian waited patiently for Annabelle to drive off before he finally got into his car and drove back to his uncle's house. ƒrēenovelkiss.com

Gwen was in a jolly good mood today. She would be having her first dream date with a handsome dude later this evening, and she couldn't wait for the evening to come.
After leaving the mansion, she made her way to one of the high-end boutiques in town to pick up the perfect dress for her dinner date.
When she was done shopping for the best dress and accessories, which cost a fortune, she left for an elite spa house for a beauty makeover.
At the spa house, Gwen ran into some old-time friends, some of whom recognised her, while others wondered who she was.
"Where have you been all this while, Gwen?"
"What about your husband, Jerry Morgan?"
"I thought you were pregnant."
"I heard you got arrested by your step sister."
"How did you become so fat?"
These were some of the infuriating comments and questions thrown at Gwen by her old nosy friends and even foes.
Embracing her new look with arrogance in her tone, Gwen denied ever going to prison. She told tales of a blissful luxury vacation with her now ex-husband, Jerry, whom she divorced after realising he had cheated on her. She also gained sympathy from her audience after telling tales of her beautiful pregnancy journey and how she had a hard and unfortunate miscarriage that almost drove her into depression.
Finally, Gwen bragged about finding love again in the arms of a hottie, giving a hint of his name and personality to the gossip mongers in their midst.
After leaving the beauty spa, looking sexy in her new flawless appearance, Gwen was about to get into her car to go over to her aunt's salon when she got a call from Nora.
"Meet me in my apartment in the next thirty minutes. We need to talk."
"Okay..." Gwen drawled, wondering what Nora wanted from her.
