"You have two options: surrender… or die," she continued, her voice flat but firm.

The crystal at the tip of her staff began to pulse with brighter energy—a clear warning that needed no further explanation. One wrong move, and the explosion would follow in seconds.

The man in the black cloak rubbed his temple. His jaw tightened. He stared at Hana with an unreadable expression, caught between calculating his odds and suppressing his rage. Behind him, his crew grew restless. Their confident eyes were no longer as steady as before.

"Captain, they're too arrogant," muttered Canos, the large man who was supposed to lead the scouting team. His voice was deep, like thunder barely held back.

"Yes, they're just early-stage Grandmasters—barely seasoned in real battle," he added with a thin smirk, as if viewing the opponents as nothing more than entertainment.

Even with thousands of guns from the sky satellites aimed at them, the expressions on the pirates' faces remained composed. They knew this could be their end—but as Void Pirates, they'd rather die with pride than kneel without resistance.

"Calm yourself," the man in the cloak said in a low, controlled voice. Tens of thousands of years as a space pirate had taught him one thing—emotion solves nothing.

He slowly raised his hand, unleashing the power of a peak Grandmaster. A heavy aura rippled through the space around him as he stepped forward toward Hana and Takulani without the slightest hint of fear.

Hana narrowed her eyes, sensing the pressure from the man's unleashed energy. "A peak Grandmaster," she muttered inwardly. Her body tensed, and her combat instincts surged, preparing for any possibility.

Takulani, standing beside her, moved even faster. His hand already gripped the hilt of his sword, thumb gently pushing the guard upward—a subtle signal that he was ready to strike at any moment.

Still, they held back. The man was intimidating, but hadn't yet acted hostile.

"I am Beldru," the man finally spoke, his voice deep and firm. "Captain of the Eternal Death Pirates. Respectful greetings to Lady Hana."

He gave a courteous nod, bowing slightly toward Hana and Takulani, but his eyes betrayed nothing but arrogance and unshakable self-confidence.

Hana let out a small scoff. Her lips curled into a cold smirk. "Stop wasting time. Make your choice."

Her eyes locked sharply onto Beldru's. Her stance was firm and frigid, rejecting any form of pretense. To Hana, pirates like Beldru weren't just enemies—they were the embodiment of all the chaos and destruction she despised.

During her adventures with Takulani across the Divine Sky Realm—especially in Lein's absence—Hana had faced many cosmic pirates. They were all the same: raiding ships, invading new territories, kidnapping and trading slaves. The freshly-formed Divine Sky Realm had become prime hunting ground for their crimes.

That's why, upon encountering one here, she didn't hesitate.

Beldru seemed taken aback by Hana's frosty demeanor. His smile began to stiffen. "What do you mean, Lady Hana? We hold no ill intent," he said calmly, though a mocking twist touched the corner of his lips.

"Five," Hana began counting.

"Four…"

Her tone was icy. No mercy in a single syllable.

Beldru's face darkened. His eyes narrowed with hatred. "You lowly creature… You'll regret mocking the Eternal Death Pirates," he hissed in a low tone—then his body vanished on the spot.

Hana had anticipated the move. Her eyes flashed sharply. "Fire!" she shouted.

That word triggered annihilation.

In an instant, thousands of sky satellites surrounding the ship unleashed their assault. Energy projectiles burst from every barrel—blue and violet arcs streaking through the void like bolts of thunder.

Explosions thundered through the area. Each projectile slammed into the Eternal Death Pirate ship with dimension-ripping force. Blinding flashes and shockwaves rocked the surroundings.

Boom!

Duar!

Massive detonations rocked the surrounding void, sending waves of energy echoing far into space. Blazing light flared with each hit, followed by shockwaves that swept the area.

Dozens of sky satellites immediately activated their protective barriers, forming layers of bluish-violet translucent light to shield their cores from the backlash.

Hana instinctively summoned her own energy shield, a silver-white light wrapping her slim figure in a gleaming barrier.

As the smoke from the explosion began to fade, something unexpected emerged from the haze. A blinding golden light enveloped the Eternal Death Pirate ship. A golden-yellow barrier, layered with ancient runes spinning slowly across its surface, cloaked the entire vessel. It remained intact—heavily shaking, but unbroken.

"Damn, they're going to teleport," Hana muttered, her low voice thick with tension. Her smooth brows furrowed, worry and determination lining her expression. Without wasting time, she turned and barked an order to the spacefleet crew lined behind her.

"Spread out within a one-million-kilometer radius!" she commanded, her voice slicing through the silence left in the wake of the blast.

The order was carried out immediately. Dozens—then hundreds—of small ships lit up and vanished into teleportation flashes, scattering in all directions. Above the void sky, the satellites rotated, aligning with the ships. Thanks to the coordination system programmed by Nita, the satellites linked directly with Hana and other officers, adjusting position within seconds.

"Takulani, you go west. I'll go east," Hana said, calm but resolute. Her eyes remained locked on the pirate ship, like a hawk zeroing in on prey. "Whoever's closest intercepts first."

"Of course, Lady Hana," replied the old man Takulani with a faint smile. Without another word, his body vanished, melting into the surrounding space like a shadow.

Meanwhile, Hana remained still, eyes unblinking as the pirate ship was slowly engulfed in a distortion of light. The teleportation process was nearly complete.

"You're not getting away…" she whispered, full of steely resolve and seething fury.

She couldn't let them escape. Not just because of the threat of revenge or future alliances—she knew too well that letting them go now could spell disaster later. Pirates like these never came just once.

Inside the Eternal Death Pirate ship, Beldru stood rigid in front of the main viewing window, glaring at Hana in the distance. His gaze was sharp, brimming with hatred and rage.

"Damn it… If not for those cursed satellites, I'd have crushed your body into blood," he growled, jaw clenched and teeth grinding. A murderous aura poured from him, thickening the air inside the cabin.

"Why is it taking so long?! Initiate the teleportation—now!" he shouted, barking toward the command room located a few meters below the main deck.
