Chapter 13 - 1st Ranked Game (3)

Seunghoon's screen shifted slightly as the camera snapped back toward midlane. The game was getting closer to midgame. So far, they have been winning all lanes.

However, the wave was pushing in his turret after he went to visit another lane.

"Tch."

Seunghoon moved fast, cutting through the jungle wall with Seryn's and re-entering the lane before a single minion died in the tower. His tempo had slipped just a little from the roam, but his visit to the other lane was more than worth it.

Seryn's auto attacks echoed with the sound of void energy as he cleared the wave. On the minimap, KaiZen had already rotated toward the top. They were chaining their lead across the map.

[Tetsu]: Red, when you hit 6 we go mid?

[Red]: yeah. I'll get it and ping

[Deadbringer]: Top no flash btw

Things were already going smoothly for them. The team wasn't just skilled—they were actually talking, communicating, and playing around each other.

[6:15]

[KaiZen]: coming mid after wolves

[Red]: save CC, I'll go first

Seunghoon's eyes locked onto miNAO's Maika. The enemy mage was slightly overextended in the midlane, clearing the wave without wards. He didn't realize both jungle and support were missing.

It was a big mistake.

Seunghoon pushed the wave with two quick skills, stepping toward the edge of the river. Then he paused, feigned backing away, and let the minions thin just enough—

[6:42]

Level 6.

[Level Up – Ultimate Unlocked: Equinox (R)]

Seunghoon's fingers snapped as if they were suddenly activated,

He blinked forward.

Flicker Step.

Then Equinox—a dash burst right into Maika's face.

Void energy exploded around them.

Voidlash. Voidlash. Voidlash. Voidlash.

The skill came out rapid-fire.

KaiZen quickly joined the fight, stunning maiKAO in place when he was about to run to his turret for protection,

The screen shook as the last orb struck.

[Red has slain miNAO]

2/0/0

Seryn stood in the center of the lane, surrounded by flickering runes and scorched ground.

Her voice line echoed again.

"Chaos... begins with me."

Seunghoon leaned back in his chair, letting out a short laugh under his breath.

"Yeah... I'm back."

[7:55]

Everything was going well for them. Too well, in fact.

Seunghoon rotated top and picked up another assist when W4RBeast tried to dive Deadbringer under the turret. KaiZen had claimed the Magical Turtle for their team, and their vision control extended through the river and into the enemy jungle.

It felt like the game was already swinging hard in their favor.

Their gold lead had ballooned to almost 4k in just 12 minutes.

[12:56]

[Tetsu]: Group mid? We can force tier 1

[KaiZen]: Yeah, we have tempo

[Luk4]: If Red hits first, I'll follow up

[Red]: G

The 4 moved together, sweeping up from bot to mid with wards in place for vision. The waves were in their favor. MiNAO was still down a level. And Luk4 was farming uncontested in botlane with her items coming in fast.

This was their moment to press the advantage.

They grouped near mid tier 1, Seunghoon hiding in the bush between mid and jungle. Tetsu walked forward, pretending to ward so he could bait someone from the opposite team..

Then it came.

[Tetsu] signals that enemies are missing

A flicker of red dots appeared on the minimap.

There were 4 enemies in the middle.

Tetsu reacted quickly. He backed down, but the enemies looked determined to chase after him.

'Oh shit,' Seunghoon's screen jolted just as SavioMain dashed out of the bush.

The trap had been laid—and it wasn't theirs. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

[13:52]

Tetsu was caught first.

Then came W4RBeastfrom the side, teleporting behind them, cutting off their exit.

PlumTart, the enemy's carry, flashed in and dropped multiple attacks on them.

Seunghoon tried to cast , but Eclipze, the enemy's support just tanked the damage.

[KaiZen] pings everyone to fall back.

[Tetsu] pings everyone to fall back.

However, it was too late.

[Luk4 has been slain.]

[Tetsu has been slain.]

[Red has been slain.]

[KaiZen has been slain.]

The kill feed filled their screen like a funeral scroll. It was clean. The enemies were suddenly clean. The enemy had baited them, stacking everyone into the mid-jungle, giving up a little to take a lot.

[Middle Turret has been destroyed.]

Their Mid Tier 1 was gone in a flash.

[Enemy Team has slain the Gravestone Warden.]

From +4k, the lead was nearly gone to +2k and so was the map control they'd worked so hard to build on the early game.

Seunghoon stared at his respawn timer.

Fifteen seconds.

He leaned forward slowly in his chair, eyes narrowing.

They were still ahead in scaling. Luk4 had a gap in gold. Deadbringer was also starting to come online.

But that fight had reminded them that the game wasn't going to be easy.

If they made even one more mistake like that... it could all fall apart.

He cracked his knuckles.

"Alright," he muttered, as the countdown hit zero. Seryn resurrected in the base and Seunghoon moved his hero back to the mid lane.

"I'm not letting that happen again."

A/N: I changed a few things on Chapter 3 and Chapter 8. Basically, it's about Seunghoon's current stats.

I incorporated his original stats [Kim Taejong] instead of using Seunghoon's one. I realized that using Seunghoon's stats would affect the flow of the story since it's so bad, and it's not the route that I want.
