Help, I'm in Another World and All the Men Are Are So Dangerous! [BL]-Chapter 95: A Misunderstanding of Epic Proportions
Chapter 95: A Misunderstanding of Epic Proportions
The intensity radiating from him was palpable.
In the original story, Laxus was described as "obsessive, clingy, and utterly incapable of backing down," and it seemed he was leaning into that role quite heavily.
But... what was that about ’yesterday’?
Rocco thought, his curiosity piqued.
Sylas had also mentioned "last night" earlier.
Suddenly, a realization struck him, and his face turned crimson.
"No way... no way!"
Clutching his now burning cheeks with both hands, Rocco glanced toward the two protagonists who were locked in an intense exchange.
Could Sylas’s prickly demeanor be a cover for embarrassment?
The hints were all there: talk of last night, vows exchanged, and Laxus’s mischievous obsession—all of it perfectly aligned with their original story.
Could it be?
Is it possible that... last night, those two...!
While I was peacefully sleeping next to them, they might have been doing... that and this?!
"H-Hah! Hahaha!"
Once the thought crossed his mind, Rocco couldn’t stop. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
He couldn’t even bear to look at them anymore.
Turning his head away sharply, he tried to shake off the increasingly vivid scenarios playing out in his imagination.
’You fool, Rocco’s sleeping right next to us!’
’Just be honest. Deep down, you’re hoping for this too... aren’t you?’
While Rocco snoozed peacefully, oblivious to the world, Laxus, with a fiery intensity, pinned Sylas down onto the couch.
Sylas who is caught in his feral gaze, began to lose his calm composure and his pale cheeks began to turn crimson.
As the small extra character (Rocco) faded out of the frame, the scene zoomed in on the two of them who are bathed in moonlight.
Their lips, glistening with tension, inched closer and closer...
...until at last, they shared their forbidden first kiss!
"Kyaaahhh!"
Rocco shot to his feet with the force of a geyser, steam practically hissing out from his overheated head.
Desperate to banish the smut fantasy swirling in his mind, he erupted into motion.
The sudden screech and movement startled the two, who had been locked in their bickering.
They turned around to look at him, feeling confused.
"Rocco...?" Sylas asked while blinking in surprise.
"What’s going on? What happened?" Laxus exclaimed, rushing forward with concern.
The two of them quickly approached him, their alarmed expressions filling Rocco’s peripheral vision.
He shook his head rapidly to dispel the lingering remnants of his naughty thoughts and forced a cough to compose himself.
Although his face was still burning red, he plastered on a nervous smile.
"N-Nothing! It’s nothing at all! I’m totally fine!"
The two of them furrowed their brows in confusion.
After Rocco had let out such an absurd scream and claiming, "It’s nothing!" was clearly a stretch.
Well, it couldn’t be helped.
There was a chance they might be suspicious and ask how he knew about their relationship, but Rocco decided to push forward with a smile, reasoning that he could just act like "a smart kid who gets the hint."
"I-I think it’s great! I totally support you two! I really, really think it’s a good thing, um, yep!"
Rocco smiled, his cheeks relaxing.
The two of them blinked their eyes in confusion at first, and then their eyes widened in realization.
Sylas made a face as if he disapproved, while Laxus looked at him with a pleased expression.
After seeing their reactions, Rocco’s eyes sparkled with understanding.
So, they really were getting along!
"Because, Sylas. You’ve already met your condition, ’getting your little brother’s approval,’ so now we can go ahead and follow through with the plan, right?"
"...If Rocco’s okay with it, I guess there’s no helping it," Sylas mumbled.
Rocco beamed, watching the two of them whispering to each other.
The romantic development between the protagonists was moving faster than in the original story, but Rocco decided that it was fine.
After all, their love in the original story was incredibly strong, and maybe their fateful meeting simply came earlier this time.
Rocco’s fan heart nodded in approval as he recalled the original plot.
"Ha... I hope you two explode with love for a long time."
Now it was time for the two protagonists to take the center stage... and Rocco as a small villain would exit coolly.
He muttered a small farewell as he confidently walked away, heading for the door.
As his hand reached for the doorknob, however, a hand suddenly stretched out behind him, effortlessly capturing him.
Rocco’s limbs swung helplessly, and he tilted his head in surprise.
"...?"
Rocco blinked his eyes while tilting his head in confusion as he turned around.
Standing there was Laxus, his eyes wide with a similarly puzzled expression.
Behind him, Sylas stood with a suspicious look aimed directly at Rocco.
Huh?
Rocco had intended to leave the scene gracefully, like the cool supporting character he was supposed to be.
But why were the protagonists ignoring each other and instead staring at him so intently?
Dangling in Laxus’s grasp, Rocco let his arms and legs swing as question marks practically floated above his head.
Eventually, Laxus smiled in a slightly troubled way, carried him back to the sofa, and gently plopped him onto a cushion.
"You can’t do that, Master. Running away when we’re about to talk together—it’s not allowed," Laxus said gently.
"Talk together?" Rocco thought, baffled.
Why would he, of all people, be included?
He wasn’t supposed to have anything to do with this.
His face was blank with confusion, prompting the two of them to blink at him and speak with mild exasperation.
"We were about to discuss our plan, weren’t we? You’re the trump card. Without you here, we can’t move forward," Laxus explained.
"P-plan? Trump card? M-me?!" Rocco stammered, pointing at himself.
"Yeah. Didn’t you just say you’d support our plan?"
Support their plan?
Rocco blinked his eyes again, the realization finally dawning on him.
Oh. Oh no.
When he had exclaimed earlier, "I’ll support the two of you!" he had been referring to their romantic relationship.
But clearly, there had been a huge misunderstanding.
