Horrific Shorts: Zombie Edition-Chapter 601: Story : The Awakening of Bloodfang (Series HS: RUO)
The city was in ruins, the air thick with smoke and the stench of decay. Fires burned in the distance, casting an eerie red glow over the broken skyline. The last remnants of human resistance had been crushed, their bodies strewn across the streets like discarded dolls. And in the heart of this devastation, inside a heavily fortified military bunker, something monstrous was stirring.
A heavy metal door groaned as it was forced open, its reinforced locks buckling under sheer brute strength. General Viktor 'Bloodfang' Kruger stepped forward, his imposing figure illuminated by flickering emergency lights. His crimson beret sat atop his head, a remnant of the past, but his humanity had long been stripped away. His once-pristine military uniform was now tattered and bloodstained, his exposed arms revealing veins pulsing with an unnatural black energy.
Kruger's cold, dead eyes scanned the room. Before him stood Dr. Sylvia "Plague Mistress" Voss, her white lab coat smeared with blood and chemicals. She held a syringe filled with a thick, greenish substance, her lips curling into a satisfied smile.
"It worked," she whispered, stepping closer. "You're stronger than ever."
Kruger flexed his fingers, feeling the power coursing through him. His combat knife gleamed under the dim light, its blade engraved with the marks of every enemy he had slain. But now, he was more than a soldier—he was the Overlord of the Undead.
Behind him, a squad of his most trusted lieutenants gathered. Sergeant Darius "Hellhound" Rook cracked his knuckles, his hulking frame ready for battle. Eva "Black Widow" Morales adjusted the straps of her stealth suit, her poisoned daggers glinting. Baron "Grave Titan" Kane let out a guttural growl, his massive hands gripping a bloodstained sledgehammer. Reaper-77, the half-machine, half-zombie experiment, stood motionless, scanning the room with its glowing red eyes.
"We have no time to waste," Kruger's voice was low, yet commanding. "The world is weak. Humanity is desperate. Now is the time to strike."
Dr. Voss nodded, holding up a data pad. "The virus is spreading faster than anticipated. The last human stronghold is a few miles west. If we crush them tonight, the world will belong to us by dawn."

Kruger smirked, stepping forward. The blood-red sky outside mirrored the rage within him. The old world had fallen. A new reign was about to begin.
