I transmigrated and got a husband and a son!-Chapter 1236: Still with us
Chapter 1236: Still with us
One month later...
"I don’t want a double wedding." Hera and Tiger uttered in unison, looking at each other sternly. "No way."
Everyone in the room couldn’t help but dart their eyes between them. Their tone, aura, and how they uttered the exact words were the same. It was unbelievable these two didn’t come from the same womb.
In the room, Dominic and Hera sat on the long couch, and opposite them were Tiger and Ivy. In the same room, Bear, Ram, Axel, and Fig watch how this unfolded. It wasn’t like they deliberately came in here to watch. To be fair, the four of them were already in the room playing billiards when the two couples barged in for witnesses.
The problem these two couples had was about who would marry first and they had been in a deadlock. It shouldn’t be a discussion if Hera and Tiger would keep an open mind, but they were both stubborn to the bones.
"I set the date first!" Tiger grumbled through his gritted teeth. "Why are you so stubborn?!"
"I am the big sister here." Hera nonchalantly flipped her hair. "I need to be married before you. Once I did, you two can... after a year."
"Ugh!!!" Tiger clasped his hair in irritation.
Ivy glanced at him and pursed her lips, sighing. Dominic, on the other hand, had no qualms about who gets the wedding ceremony first. After all, he and Hera were now legally married. Before they left the country for the castle he built in a foreign country, they visited the Civil Bureau to register their marriage and put the wedding on hold.
"Fine!" Tiger huffed after a moment of mental breakdown. He looked at Hera with all seriousness and said, "Let’s settle this in a fight."
Hera arched a brow while their quiet audiences looked at each other.
"So..." Fig trailed off as he glanced at Tiger. "... does this mean he doesn’t want to get married first?"
It wasn’t like Tiger was weak against Hera. Truthfully, he was stronger than Hera. The problem was that Hera was cunning and often found ways to win, regardless. Ram and Bear shrugged and Axel snorted.
"As if you’re going to win against my sis!" Axel yelled, almost cheering for Hera.
Tiger sneered and looked at Axel mockingly. "I’m not saying her, but him!" he then pointed at Dominic. "Dom, let’s settle this mano a mano."
The veins in Hera’s forehead protruded as the corner of her lips twitched. "You..."
"Okay." Dominic didn’t react and simply nodded.
Everyone couldn’t help but shift their eyes on Dominic. Was Dominic serious? But they didn’t want to offend him or make him feel bad, except Axel.
"Bro, what are you thinking?!" Axel briskly went to Dominic’s side. "He’s challenging you instead of my sister because he wants it the easy way!"
"I know. That’s why I agreed." Dominic nodded. "He’s underestimating me and I can’t let my brother-in-law see me less."
"Hah!" Hera scoffed at Tiger. "What a coward, asking my darling to fight him because he knows he can’t win against me."
"Who said I can’t win against you?" Tiger sneered at her. "Want me to give it a go now? I’ll headlock you and won’t let go until your head falls —"
Tiger accidentally bit his tongue when a hand suddenly smacked him from behind. He intuitively covered his gaping mouth, feeling his tongue feel numb for the time being.
"I’m sorry about that, Hera." Ivy, who smacked his head, smiled. "Little brothers are always like this, I presume?"
Hera shook her head. "You don’t even know the half of it."
"I don’t want to be married through such underhanded means," Ivy expressed, but her words were like a huge blow at Dominic.
Axel looked down at his brother and felt sorry for him.
"Don’t feel bad, bro." Axel patted Dominic’s shoulder to console him. This was simply one of those unimportant downsides of marrying Hera.
Ivy continued. "Get married first —"
"They’re already married!" Tiger yelled in frustration when he recovered, only to earn a deadly glare from Ivy. Tiger automatically tucked his tongue back in his throat and sulked beside her.
When he peeked at Hera, Hera sported an ugly face and stuck her tongue out.
’God, I hate her!’ he mentally grumbled, his arm itching to lock her head and just suffocate her for a minute.
Ivy huffed and recomposed herself, facing the couple with a smile. "Tiger and I still have a lot of things to do. One of them is asking for my parent’s permission. Although their opinions don’t matter, I still want to introduce my fiance to them."
"Moreover..." Ivy’s smile softened as she glanced at Ram. "I think it’s best if you two have a wedding while Ram is still with us."
Ram’s brows slowly rose, taken aback at Ivy’s remarks.
Tiger and Hera were also a little surprised. They had been going head-to-head with each other, but that didn’t cross them. All they thought was getting the most beautiful wedding, forgetting that Ram might not be with them once the day came.
Bear, Fig, and Axel couldn’t help but smile at Ivy upon hearing the suggestion.
"Oh." Tiger kept his eyes on Ram, his lips were drawn into a thin line. When he faced Hera again, he rocked his head. "Well, if she put it that way, then get married. We’ll put off ours next year."
"Can you please not look at me with such eyes?" Ram sighed because everyone could feel how the mood changed. "If you do, I might get beaten up with my match with Wolf."
Hera sighed faintly. "We’re looking at you because Wolf is gonna be depressed if he gets beaten by a dying man. I already feel sorry for him." She clapped, changing her tone to a much livelier one. "Anyway, since that is settled, my darling and I will make baby number three!"
After saying her piece, Hera pushed herself and quickly walked away. Dominic followed.
"Let’s go too. These guys are useless now. " Tiger smiled at Ivy and held her hand, guiding her out of the room.
In the blink of an eye, the couple who suddenly barged in and interrupted their game disappeared without saying another word.
