[Skills:]
Tide Dart: The spearfish surges forward in a burst of speed, becoming a blur in the water. Deals piercing damage and has a chance to knock enemies off balance or leave deep wounds if striking from stealth or high speed.
Ripple Veil: Disrupts the water around it to create a field of shimmering distortion. Reduces visibility and lock-on accuracy from enemies for several seconds. Effective against projectile and magic targeting.
Aqua Step (Passive): Gains a stacking boost to speed and evasion the longer it remains in continuous motion. Resets if the creature is forcibly halted or stunned.
Hydrodynamic Cut: Uses its bladed nose to slash through targets or obstacles. Enhanced damage against defensive formations or barriers, especially those made of ice, plant matter, or earth.
Flash Leap: Performs a high-speed leap from the water's surface, allowing it to momentarily strike airborne or shoreline enemies before splashing back down.
Aqua Jet Burst: Upgraded propulsion skill that now leaves behind a buffing tailcurrent. Allies following its path gain minor speed and evasiveness for 10 seconds.
Surge Veil (New): Surrounds itself with a veil of pressured water, reducing incoming damage from physical and elemental attacks. Can be detonated in a shockwave if broken.
Flash Lancer (New): Fires a condensed bolt of pressurized water shaped like a harpoon from its snout. Can be used at medium range for precise strikes or to interrupt spells.

Logan spotted movement.
Spearfish broke the surface in a flash, its new form leaping fully out of the water. Its five-meter body arced through the sky in a spray of mist and foam. The stylized marlin-like frame, sleeker and more refined than before, it seemed to glow blue from water mana under the darkening clouds. A long sail traced down its back, stretching toward its tail like a natural rudder—and at its front, the elongated nose now resembled a deadly lance, nearly a meter in length.
It wasn't even half Abyss's size, but in speed and killing ability there was some hope.
It was not just a creature it was a weapon.
The water churned violently in its wake as the newly evolved beast darted forward. The ships tilted slightly, but then stabilized. Spearfish began redirecting the waves around them—cutting paths through the forming swells like a blade parting a curtain while helping Abyss who was trying to use its body to ram into the waves.
The new evolution was exactly what Logan needed.
"Just in time." he muttered.
