What surprised me though, was that Megiddo-san, who seemed like the type to get really into these kinds of tournaments, wasn't participating and instead was staying in the practice area the whole time. Moreover, she wasn't just quietly practicing by herself, she was watching all kinds of players and nodding with deep interest.
