I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 221: Blatant Statements?
But because of this...
He had lost track of where he was going.
Initially, his plan was to scare them off using his "Orb of Devastating Blood" and then tactically retreat.
He wasn't naive enough to know he was capable of winning a three vs one. There was no chance at his current level.
Placing his hand against the side of a tree, he huffed deeply, getting back his breath before running again.
After a few short minutes, he pushed himself off the tree, prepared to go before suddenly freezing.
"You look hurt. I wonder why..."
Quickly tilting his head up, he found a rather attractive white-haired girl with blue eyes, smiling down as she sat in the tree with her legs crossed.
The way she was looking down at him couldn't help but make him irk.
She was giving him a condescending look.
Straightening his back, ignoring the pain that came from it, he responded with his usual arrogant tone.
"Hurt? This is merely a flesh wound... A flesh wound that came from you I don't doubt."
Backing away from the tree, he pointed at her, "You're the one who did that stealth attack, am I correct?"
Lillian tilted her head to the right, then tilted it to the left. She gave him a curious and innocent look before smiling, having been caught red-handed.
"You're correct. It not like it was hard to guess, though..."
Pushing herself out of the tree—
Thump...
—She began to steadily make her way over to him.
Cicillian grimaced, raising his hand to his hair that had fallen over his forehead and slicking it back like some stress-relieving habit.
He then raised his palm towards her, causing her to stop out of curiosity.
Lillian stared at him with a look of confusion.
To respond to her inquisitive look, Cicillian spoke.
"Let's fight using weapons created by our elements..."
He then waved his hand into the air, creating a small curtain of blood that morphed into a simple sword.
Once doing that, he then added with a tricky smile:
"You're not so shameless to eliminate an already wounded man without some fairness, right?"
Lillian gave him an odd look.
"Already... Wounded? I'm the one that wounded you."
Was this guy a fool? Lillian didn't exactly remember him to be... Well, she didn't really remember much of anyone who wasn't important.
Lillian gave an exasperated sigh before shaking her head mockingly.
"There's no reason for me to participate in such a pointless game."
However, she then grinned.
After taking a good look at the sword in the young man's hands, she flashed her hand to the side.
Shooting from her palm was a torrent of water that swirled and wrapped in the air.
She had created herself a simple sword as well.
But there was something odd about it.
It was an exact replica of the one in Cicillian's hands, with the difference being it was made of water.
Same blade length. Same cross guard. And even the same hilt length.
Pulling herself into a sword stance, she spoke with heavy mockery behind her breath:
"But I shall play this small game with you. Except, I will humiliate you so badly it would make it feel like I was tossing around a child~..."
Cicillian blankly stared at her. It was only after a moment that he reacted.
His eyes flared brightly at her words, his hand tightening around the handle of his sword. He chewed his bottom lip until it bled.
His entire head had turned into the same colour as his eyes. He seemed to be pretty angered by what Lillian had said.
However, he then shortly calmed down. He smirked.
"Baiting me to lose myself in anger? That's a typical tactic!"
He then stretched his arms out, laughing like some lunatic.
"Unfortunately for you, I have trained to keep my short fuse intact, for that is the most ideal—!"
"Dear lord! Just be quiet!"
Unable to bear the voice of the white-haired man before her, Lillian dashed forward, hastily swinging her sword, intending to slice through the man's mouth.
Cicillian grinned, annoying her even more as he sliced through her sword—
SPLASH!
—Splattering it across the ground.
"Your constructs are weak!" He laughed, raising his sword over his head before adding, "As expected of a girl—!"
"That shit is sexist and you know it!"
Lillian twisted her body around, facing her side to the white-haired man and kicking out her leg—
BAM!
—Slamming it into the young man's chest.
Cicillian was knocked back, the back of his heel skidding against the ground. He winced.
Because of Lillian's sudden side-kick, his focus on the wound in his side was lessened.
This caused Cicillian to momentarily lose control of his ability and allow his blood to drip and stain the ground.
Lillian watched as a brief flash of panic crossed his face as he fixed his focus, controlling the bleeding before it could worsen his condition.
Once regulating his condition, he raised his eyes back to Lillian, finding her constructing yet another sword of the same shape as his.
He then met Lillian's eyes that stared at him patronizingly, as though she confidently believed he was lesser than her.
Looking at the sword she created, he watched as she pointed it at him before speaking in a condescending and mocking tone.
"My constructs are weak? I'll have you know, they are pretty durable."
The corners of her lips curled up.
"But what's the point of making them that way?" She waved the tip of her sword casually and added:
"It's like adding more effort onto something you can do instantly with absolute completion."
She then tilted her head at him, resting the flat side of her sword on her shoulder. freewebnøvel.coɱ
"So, I'll just let you in on this. If you can destroy my constructs, then that means I want you to. If you can't destroy my constructs, then know I don't want you to."
Cicillian's face twitched irritably at her mocking words.
"We had barely begun, and you dare make such blatant statements?"
Lillian snorted and responded with, "They're blatant because..."
