Infinite System Inheritor Return From The Abyss-Chapter 428 - 426: World wide Quest
Chapter 428: Chapter 426: World wide Quest
Inside the Seoul Branch of the Awakener Association, the glow of holographic screens lit up the office in a soft blue hue. Stacked layers of digital paperwork hovered in front of Alexa.
Her fingers moved swiftly through the reports — guild applications, dungeon clearances, and internal policy memos. It was just another routine day.
Until—
[DING!]
A piercing chime reverberated through the room. The screens flickered. The lights dimmed for a heartbeat. And then, a golden frame burst into view, overriding all existing panels.

The notification echoed across the entire Association network. She stood up so fast her chair rolled back behind her. "What the heck?!" she said aloud, hands moving fast as she expanded the quest window for more details.
⚠ Only 12 Guilds will be accepted. First come, first serve.
She stared in disbelief and grabbed her coat and keys in a rush, eyes still glued to the floating hologram beside her. She tapped her earpiece.
"I’m heading to the academy," she said sharply. "They will be a Guild meeting later, Wait for my message."
***********
Meanwhile, inside Seojun’s classroom, a loud ping echoed through the air. The holograms hovering around the awakeners flickered, displaying golden-glowing text.
Elshienne asked, "World-wide quest?"
Nayoung jumped up, pointing at the screen in front of her. "Yeah! This is cool! Look at the hologram!" Then remember "Oh, right. Only awakeners can see this."
Alex, who was sitting casually a moment ago, now had his brows furrowed in concern.
Minseok, eyes sharp, finally broke the silence. "For the first time, the global system is giving out a divine weapon as a reward. Professor..." he paused. "Aren’t divine weapons forbidden to use?"
Alex slowly nodded. "Yes, There’s probably more information coming. The Global System never reveals everything at once."
Across the room, Jinhyu stared intensely at the coordinates shown at the bottom of the announcement. "Where is this place?"
Minseok glanced at the data and answered, "It’s Japan. Based on the timezone and coordinates... it matches exactly."
While Nayoung is dictating what she’s seeing to Elshienne and told her about the coordinates, Elshienne spoke. "68 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, 612-0882, Japan."
"Wow, That’s where the coordinates is?" Nayoung asked in amazed, even hannah clapped her hands.
Before anyone could react further—
[DING!]
A second notification from the Global System appeared, this time with even bolder golden text:

Alexa then entered the classroom, and the students immediately stood up to greet her.
"Good morning, Professor Alexa." they chorused.
Alexa gave a short nod. "Good morning. I need to borrow Professor Alex and Jihoon for a moment. You can do self-study until they return."
"Yes, ma’am," the students responded in unison.
Seojun stood up from his seat as Alex and Jihoon quietly followed Alexa out of the room. Once the door closed behind them, the classroom murmurs began.
"You think Professor Jihoon will join the quest?" Hannah asked curiously, her eyes still on the door.
"Is he even part of a guild?" Minseok chimed in, turning toward Nymira.
"Miss Nymira, is Professor Jihoon affiliated with any guild at all?" Jinhyu asked.
Nymira, who had been quiet the whole time, finally spoke in a calm tone."No... Master doesn’t belong to any guild."
Yoora glanced at the window occupied with her own thoughts, ’I need to find a way to able to use that skill again.’ Yoora then look at her hand, manifesting her chains trying to shape the chain into dagger but failed.

Seojun snapped his fingers — and Alex and Alexa appeared inside the dean’s office.
The room was empty.
"Huh. He’s not here yet," Alex muttered, glancing around. Alexa quietly walked over to the sofa and sat down, arms crossed, thinking deeply.
Alex moved toward the small counter at the side. "Might as well make coffee," he said casually, preparing cups for them.
While the water heated, Alex stared at the hologram still glowing faintly above the desk. "Looks like the global system doesn’t want the upcoming event — the top rankers visiting — to happen just yet."
Alexa let out a breath, still frowning. "This is happening too soon...This quest shouldn’t trigger until—"
She suddenly paused, her eyes going wide. "Impossible..."
Alex poured the coffee and handed her a cup. He sat down beside her with his own. "The tomb appeared," he said firmly. "That’s the only reason the system would move the timeline forward."
Alexa turned to him slowly, gripping her coffee. "Didn’t you make this quest? What’s going to happen? What’s the quest about?"
Alex gave a heavy sigh and took a sip. "The global system restrained me. I’m not allowed to say... or join."
"What?!" Alexa nearly spilled her drink. "Damn it! We were supposed to be the ones to get the divine weapon. If someone else gets it—"
She cut herself off, teeth clenched. "Once the quest ends, divine weapon usage might no longer be forbidden..."
Alex nodded grimly. "And divine weapon users will start to appear. That’s dangerous."
They turned and saw Seojun sitting comfortably in the dean’s chair, sipping the coffee. He raised a brow.
Both Alex and Alexa stood up instantly. "Register in our guild," they said at the same time.
Seojun blinked once. "I don’t feel like it," he replied with a shrug, setting the cup down.
Alexa groaned and walked over to him. "You little—" she grabbed his shoulders and started shaking him.
"Stop acting cool for no reason!" she said, shaking him harder.
Seojun, still unfazed, raised his cup mid-shake and took another sip without spilling a drop. "I just don’t want to deal with guild politics."
