Jujutsu Kaisen: I Can Travel Back in Time-Chapter 41 - 35 Sadako Enters
Chapter 41 - 35 Sadako Enters
"If you're ready, are you going to crawl out of the TV later? Like Sadako?" Geto Suguru pointed at the television behind the female ghost and shuddered.
"Uh... yes, that was the master's idea." The female ghost glanced at Geto Suguru's raised eyebrows and nodded shyly.
"Third level!" Gojo Satoru huffed, eyeing the bashful ghost with displeasure. Why did even the evil spirits seem to like Geto? Without another word, he grabbed Geto Suguru's arm and strode further down the corridor, the distant sound of screams growing louder. Conan sighed and followed helplessly.
The corridor ahead narrowed. First, it was just enough for two people to squeeze through side by side, but soon it became so tight that only one person could pass at a time. Gojo led the way, Geto followed behind, and Conan was sandwiched between them.
After a few minutes, Conan reached out and pressed his hand against the graffiti-covered wall. "The walls are closing in," he announced.
"It's just a haunted house trick to scare people. The walls can't really move," Gojo Satoru said dismissively, showing no concern.
Conan twitched his mouth in irritation. It felt like watching a horror movie and having someone sit next to you explaining every fake effect.
At that moment, the sound of rushing water echoed behind them. Conan and Geto Suguru turned around, only to see a crimson flood crashing against the walls and surging toward them.
"Is this... an illusion?" Geto Suguru murmured, glancing between the squeezing walls and the approaching torrent.
"Of course it's an illusion. Don't forget—we're in the natural domain of a cursed spirit." Gojo Satoru stroked his chin, the corners of his mouth curling into a smile. "Perfect timing for a review session with Teacher Gojo! The easiest way to escape a natural domain is to clash domains—"
"Satoru!" Geto cut him off, extending a hand to block him. "Didn't you say this is just the haunted house's original form? That means the cursed spirit who created this space has no malicious intent. If you expand your domain here, you'll destroy everything."
"You're always too soft-hearted, Geto." Gojo shrugged. "Fine—if we aren't using a domain, that leaves us with one option... Run!"
"Huh?" Before Conan could react, Geto Suguru swept him up and dashed forward.
Fifty meters later, the walls stopped pressing in, and the blood vanished. They emerged into a courtyard designed to mimic the outdoors. Dim, artificial sunlight filtered from above, casting a faint glow on painted fences, orange trees, and distant hills. Fallen leaves covered the ground, and in the center stood a damp, dilapidated ancient well.
Setting Conan down beside the well, Geto Suguru turned as a faint rustling came from below. A pale, white-clad figure slithered up the well's wall. Just as she was about to flash a creepy smile, her expression froze in shock.
"Wait a minute—aren't you the same ghost in the Gothic dress from the first room?" Conan blurted out mercilessly.

"Uh..." The ghost hesitated, caught between advancing and retreating. In her distraction, she lost her footing and began sliding headfirst back down the well.
Gojo Satoru pulled off half his blindfold, revealing his pale blue eyes. His tone was anything but sympathetic. "Tell us how to get out of this haunted house, and I'll let you climb up."
"I'm a staff member—I can't just reveal the secrets!" the ghost protested, flailing against the slippery walls.
"Suit yourself." Gojo leaned casually on the well, twirling a broken wooden stick in his hand. "Take your time climbing up. I'm in no rush."
The ghost struggled to regain her balance, but Gojo had no intention of making it easy. He poked at her with the stick like a fencer scoring points.
"Ow! Ow! Fine, I'll talk! Just let me up—the well's slippery!" she yelped, shrinking back from his relentless jabs.
"Instructions first, then I help," Gojo countered, unmoved.
Resigned, the ghost pulled a folded note from her dress pocket. "This is the pass certificate—but it's cursed. Whoever takes it—"
Before she could finish, Gojo snatched the note from her hand.
"Congratulations!" The ghost sighed in defeat. "You've cleared the level. Now, can you please pull me up?"
Gojo clapped his hands together, flashing a mischievous grin. "I said I'd let you up—I never said I'd pull you up."
As Gojo turned away, Geto Suguru sighed heavily before reaching down to haul the struggling ghost out of the well.
The scenery shifted. A door appeared on the painted mountain wall, creaking open to reveal a pitch-black corridor lined with mirrors on both sides.
Despite the darkness, Gojo Satoru, with his Six Eyes, had no trouble navigating. Climbing onto Geto Suguru's shoulders with a triumphant smirk, he quipped, "Stay close, Geto!" His only reward was an exasperated snort.
As they advanced, a faint light flickered to life, reflecting their images in the surrounding mirrors. At the far end of the corridor stood a pale, grim-faced figure—none other than the headless spirit from the classroom.
"Aren't you tired of chasing us around?" Even Geto Suguru couldn't hold back his irritation.
Without breaking stride, he led the other two past the slumped spirit, completely ignoring its efforts to be frightening.
After a few more twists and turns, the trio returned to the starting point.
The receptionist greeted them with a bright smile. "Congratulations! Please help us by filling out a service evaluation form."
Gojo Satoru leaned against the counter, clearly uninterested in the questionnaire. Flashing a dazzling smile, he said, "Answer a few questions for me, and I won't report your little stunt—using a cursed spirit's domain to run a haunted house—to the higher-ups in the Jujutsu world."
