King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 80 - 79 The Fall of the Legend
Chapter 80: Chapter 79: The Fall of the Legend
Chapter 80 -79: The Fall of the Legend
“Bang!” With the sound of metal colliding, golden dragon armor fragments flew about. Muria’s faceguard was smashed by Michaela’s heavy punch, causing all the dragon armor on the lower right side of his face to turn into fragments and fly off.
Muria staggered from the punch. The girl with platinum blonde hair, clad in legendary armor, then raised her slender legs and fiercely aimed a kick at Muria’s chest.
“Boom!” Muria’s massive and sturdy figure was directly kicked into the pile of demonic corpses he had slain. Countless demonic carcasses were crushed by the kinetic impact of Muria, limbs scattered all around, and the stench of demonic blood was evaporated by the dragon flames burning on Muria’s body.
“Cough, Cough!” Muria, staggering, stood up from the pile of demonic corpses. The dragon flame covering his body did not allow him to be contaminated by any filth. His faceguard was slowly regrowing, while his chest armor, cracked from Michaela’s kick, was slowly healing.
Seeing that Muria managed to stand up, Michaela flapped her ten wings, ablaze with fiery flames. In an instant, she was in front of Muria, sweeping her slender legs with even greater force at Muria’s arms, raised in defense.
“Crack!” Muria grimaced as his arm bones were broken by the kick. Once again, he was sent flying, forming a graceful parabola, with strong power grinding a long trench out of the ground where he landed.
“Click,” “Click,”…the sound of metal boots stepping on the hard ground filled with gravel approached the immobile Muria.
“Stand up.” Michaela stopped by Muria, looking down at his healing arm and the broken dragon scale armor.
“I quit fighting!” Muria lay still among the rubble. In every aspect, he was being crushed, the battle was tantamount to self-torture, and thus pointless.
“So you admit defeat since you have no intention to fight, even though you still have the ability?” asked Michaela as she scrutinized Muria after hearing his refusal to fight.
“Yeah, I admit defeat. You’re one tier higher than me, how am I supposed to fight you?” Muria stared up at Michaela, whose charm was still enough to make hearts race even when seen from below. The Dragon flame on his body gradually extinguished.
“I’ve been suppressing my power to fight you,” said Michaela as she clenched her fists. Throughout the fight, she had been trying hard to keep her power in check.
“You wear a set of legendary armor and engage me in close combat. No matter how much you suppress your strength, I wouldn’t be able to break your defenses,” Muria pointed to his healing dragon scale armor, “and yet, you easily shattered my dragon armor with your legendary armor. This battle was never fair to me, right from the start.”
“Are you dissatisfied?”
“If it were you, would you be satisfied?” Murphy retorted. He stood up from the ground and looked at Michaela squarely.
“That’s fair.” Michaela nodded before turning and walking towards the battlefield: “From now on, I will suppress my power and stay at the Gold Fourth Level until you reach the Gold Fourth Level.
Then, I will not wear any armor, not use any weapons, and fight fairly with you barehanded at the same level. By then, I will beat you until you concede reluctantly.”
“Promise!” responded Muria, upon hearing Michaela’s words. He had no fear of anyone in a fair battle at the same level.
Then Muria saw that Michaela picked up a long sword from the ground. As the flames started to ignite her body and her ten wings spread open, the handsome and youthful Titan boy raised an eyebrow: “What are you preparing for?”
“To join the battle.”
“That’s not right.” Hearing Michaela’s words, Muria blocked her way, “Your brother just entrusted you to my care.”
“Get out of the way!” By this time, Michaela was already engulfed in fire, making her face appear somewhat dim.
“I won’t.”
“You can’t stop me!”
“If I can’t stop you, how about her?” Muria pointed to a young Titan girl standing far away on a hill, observing the battlefield.
“Humph, she won’t be able to stop me either!” As Michaela spoke, a helmet marked with glorious magical patterns appeared on her head, her face entirely covered by a beautiful faceguard with God’s patterns.
At this moment, Michaela was holding two Scorching Sun Flame Golden Swords, clad in legendary full-body armor, making Muria incredibly envious. In this state, Heloise, who didn’t have a suitable weapon, would indeed not be able to stop Michaela, who was determined to join the battle.
“Hold on a moment.” Seeing Michaela shifting her wings and about to fly away, Muria quickly spread her golden dragon wings and stood in front of her.
“Do you really think this legendary equipment is enough for you to join a legendary battle?” Muria voiced out, “It’s true you won’t die with the legendary armor, but your attack could be caught bare-handed by the Eight-armed Snake Demon. If you join the fight, you’ll merely be a burden to your brother and your people.”
“…” Michaela fell silent. With her bloodline, no one within the Blazing Sky God Race would dare call her a burden. However, she was acutely aware of the gap between herself and the legends. Her brother, Sylvester, had already been knocked away several times by the Eight-armed Snake Demon.
“Michaela, please don’t join the battle. Just watch it with me here.” Seeing Michaela’s silence, Muria tirelessly convinced her to abandon her intention to fight.
Just as Muria’s persuasions surged, he saw Michaela raise her battle sword, ablaze with flames, and violently strike him.
“Boom!” The back of the sword landed on Muria’s right shoulder. Michaela’s sudden attack left no room for Muria to react. He was immediately knocked into the ground, creating a deep pit as dust billowed.
“Muria, I’ll wait for you to reach the Gold Fourth Level.” The flames on Michaela’s body gradually dimmed until only the flames on the wings behind her burned. After saying this, a teleportation array emerged beneath her. With the dazzling spirit light of teleportation, Michaela left the Demon Training Ground.
“Hiss! That hurts!” Muria crawled out from the crater, massaging his shoulder. He was full of confusion, “Although what I said was harsh, it was the truth.”
“Muria, watch the battle. The Eight-armed Snake Demon is about to be slain.” Seeing Muria still pondering why Michaela suddenly attacked him, the distant Heloise loudly reminded him.
“What?” Upon hearing Heloise’s words, Muria’s wings vibrated, and he ascended into the sky to gaze upon the distant Legendary Battlefield.
Far away, the curved knife in the hand of the Eight-armed Snake Demon had become as jagged as a saw blade after fighting the Titans and the Blazing Sky God Descendants for a long time. The wear and tear had been severe, with a huge notch in one of the blades that threatened to break the knife in half.
“Cling… clang…” After a series of metallic sounds, half of the jagged blade — five to six meters long — flew up into the sky. After making several turns in the air, it stuck into the hard ground below. After a prolonged battle, one of the Snake Demon’s blades could no longer handle the strain and had been chopped off by a Titan.
Along with the breakage of the blade, a swipe of blackened red blood in the air drew Muria’s gaze towards it. Breaking of the blade created a flaw in the formerly impeccable defense of the legendary Snake Demon. Sylvester, the Blazing Sky God Descendant, capitalized on the opportunity. He split the Snake Demon’s arm with his blade.
The sharp blade nearly chopped off the Snake Demon’s upper right arm. However, the Snake Demon retaliated, forcing Sylvester back and not giving him another chance to strike.
On the Snake Demon’s body, a faintly blazing white flame burned on the wound inflicted by Sylvester, preventing the wound from healing.
But the demon power inside the Snake Demon surged, rapidly dissipating the flame with the power of restraining the demon and other evil creatures. Then, under the legendary Demon’s physique, her severed arm quickly healed as if it had never been wounded.

However, the actual injury was evidenced by the demon blood that had just splattered on the barren ground, corroding it and leaving patches of holes. After such a long battle, this was the first time the Titans and Blazing Sky God Descendants had wounded this legendary demon.
“Roar!” After having her weapon broken and being wounded, the Snake Demon had completely lost it. She was cornered with no way out, surrounded by a desolate darkness. She didn’t know how to escape, and now she had turned into a desperate beast that knew it was facing death, thus becoming increasingly rampant.
“Splurt!” “Snap!” … The Eight-armed Snake Demon knew she couldn’t escape death. She abandoned any defense and resorted to frantic attacks on the Blazing Sky God Descendants and the Titans. She only defended vital parts of her body such as the head and the heart, hoping to kill a few Titans or Blazing Sky God Descendants before she died.
As she gave up on protecting her body and began to attack recklessly, one after another, Tanzanites and Blazing Sky God Descendants were sent flying by her, spitting blood from broken bones. At the same time, the other Titans and Blazing Sky God Descendants seized the opportunity to wound her deeply enough to reveal her bones. The demon blood spray was unending.
“Buzz!” A Blazing Sky God Descendant had been ruthlessly targeted by the Snake Demon and sliced five times. His armor had been so deformed by the Snake Demon’s attacks that it was unrecognizable. His body was bleeding a platinum color, burning like a raging inferno and causing many of the attacking demons to scream incessantly.
Just as the Snake Demon revealed a ferocious smile, about to behead this gravely wounded God Descendant, a dazzling light erupted from his body. After blocking the Snake Demon’s attack, it teleported the wounded God Descendant away from the Abyss Training Field.
“Roar! No!” Seeing the Blazing Sky God Descendant escaping right before being beheaded, the Eight-armed Snake Demon roared in extreme frustration. To gravely wound this Blazing Sky God Descendant, she had completely neglected her defense. Her body now had several gaping wounds, revealing her squirming internal organs.
“Titan Tribe! Blazing Sky God Race!” The Snake Demon’s beautiful face, covered with snake scales, twisted terribly in rage. She could accept being killed by another legendary being, but she couldn’t swallow being hunted down by a group at the Soul Intent Level. This was a considerable humiliation.
Even with her putting life at stake, she still couldn’t take down a single Soul Intent. That filled the Snake Demon with resentment and regret. She regretted stepping into this Abyssal Gate.
“Humph! Let’s kill her together!” Seeing the Snake Demon roaring in fury, several Titan and Blazing Sky God Descendants shouted in unison. They had already gravely wounded her when she’d been focused on wounding the Blazing Sky God Descendant just now.
