King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 82 - 81 Meeting the Epics
Chapter 82: Chapter 81: Meeting the Epics
Chapter 82 -81: Meeting the Epics
“Who did you say you want to pursue?”
“Michaela!” Muria looked at Gerald, his face etched with shock: “Is there an issue?”
“It’s a big issue.” Gerald scrutinized the calm-faced Muria, “Do you know her status within the Blazing Sky God Race?”
“I’m not quite sure, but her status should be quite high, right?” Muria pondered for a moment, recalling Michaela’s ungodly legendary equipment, which seemed even superior to her brother Sylvester’s armor.
“Quite high? Her status is even higher than you think.” Gerald paced in front of Muria, contemplating how to describe Michaela’s identity to Muria: “Among the new generation of the Blazing Sky God Race, she is the one with the highest Ancient Divine Bloodline level, even surpassing the legendary Blazing Sky God Descendants.”
“And then what!” Muria looked calm confronting the somewhat angry Gerald, what did status and identity even matter to him?
“And then?” Gerald yelled at Muria: “The Blazing Sky God Race would never accept Michaela being with you, your pursuit is a waste of time.”
“Who cares if the Blazing Sky God Race agrees or not? As long as Michaela agrees, other people have nothing to do with me.”
“The Blazing Sky God Race will never approve for a genius with the closest bloodline to their ancestors to mingle with a Titan who doesn’t have a Blazing Sky Bloodline. The resistance you’ll meet later on will be beyond your imagination!”
“Hmm, I understand.” Muria nodded, then directly summoned Gerald’s spirit to construct a teleportation array for him to return.
“Are you giving up?” Seeing the teleportation array gradually taking form, Gerald asked softly.
“No.” Muria shook his head, his eyes filled with laughter as he looked at this forthright Titan teenager: “Thank you for your advice, from today on I shall strive harder. Once I acquire sufficient power, if the Blazing Sky God Race disagrees, I shall take her by force.”
“This guy…” Gerald watched Muria disappear in the teleportation light, scratching his chin and mumbling, “Hijacking the genius of the Blazing Sky God Race! Oh, Muria, if you have that kind of power by then, I will rally the clan to help you.”
…
From then on, Muria started to practice hard, as the first step in courting Michaela was to defeat this genius of the Blazing Sky God Race; otherwise, it would be embarrassing to even attempt to pursue her.
He started actively picking fights with Heloise and then he fought with her until both were exhausted, using up all their strength, not able to move anymore, then they would be transported away by Cassio and thrown into the Pool of Life for recovery.
Pursuing women is always a driving force for men to keep moving forward.
To win the battle after he enters the Gold Fourth Level, Muria is nearly going mad, and the phrase ‘burning the candle at both ends’ is not even enough to describe him.
Muria doesn’t want to waste any more time consuming Elemental Crystals to replenish his expended energy. Instead, he asked Cassio to teleport him into the Demon Training Ground where he single-handedly slaughtered demons with his weapon, honing his martial arts skills while topping up his energy with the crystals with another hand.
Over time, Muria constantly pushed himself to his limits, striving to improve himself. He truly appreciated the power of his body, which simultaneously carried the lineage of Titan and Golden Dragon.
By making himself go through such a tough routine, he didn’t exhaust himself, but rather became stronger and stronger. His level remained the same, but his combat power was surging.
…
“Muria, you don’t have to be so harsh on yourself.” After Muria, carrying the blood-stained Axe Spear, was transported back from the Abyss Training Field, Cassio on the side started to speak.
“Cassio, you know, after I enter the Gold Fourth Level, I will have to fight a Blazing Sky God Descendant.” Muria’s slightly weary eyes looked at his Spirit and smiled: “I do not wish to lose this battle, I must win.”
“You just need to keep going at your previous pace.”
“Michaela is a Ten-Winged Blazing Sky God Descendant. If I don’t put in extra effort, I might lose.” Muria laughed, “If I’m defeated due to a level disparity, that’s fine, but if we’re both at the same level, I would neither want nor afford to lose.”
“Muria, you possess the bloodline of the Epic Titan and the Dragon King, there is no need to worry about Michaela’s bloodline advantage. As long as you master the Titan’s inherited martial arts, you will never lose.”
“…” Muria waved his hand, silent, putting down his Axe Spear. He went into his bedroom and started to meditate with the aid of his magic array, trying to take a break from his fatigue.
Meditation broadens his Mental Power. Nowadays, Muria hardly utilized it to construct Magic Models; because whether it’s Buff Magic or Offensive Magic, it is rather ineffective against beings, such as Blazing Sky God Descendants and Titans. However, Mental Power does have many other uses.
For instance, it can support him in battles. Under the Covering Range of his Mental Power, Muria can discern even the tiniest detail; while in the Demon Training Ground, it allows him to slaughter demons more efficiently and fend off their attacks.
…
“Boom!” “Bang!”… All around the spacious Arena, there were still the silent and dark Void. Muria, wearing the Dragon Armor, clashed close-hand with Heloise. Their fists and footsteps collided intensely, producing loud noises. The stones in the Arena cracked under their attacks only to be quickly mended.
“Bang!” Heloise’s arm was surrounded by Hurricanes, Golden Thunder coiled around her fist, as if she was wearing a golden arm guard, her golden fist attacked Muria with a mysterious angle.
Seeing Heloise’s punch, Muria involuntarily felt that no matter how he dodged, he wouldn’t be able to escape this attack.
“Bang!” With the same move, Muria’s fist, already covered in Dragon Armor, was set ablaze with Dragon Flames, encased in Wind and Thunder. Its momentum was even more impressive than Heloise’s attack.
Fist met fist, light gold blood flying out. Countless tiny cracks appeared on Muria’s dragon scale armor, spanning from his arm to his shoulder, as if the armor-like dragon scale was about to shatter at any moment.
“Not bad.” Muria retreated swiftly after punching, evading her stormy side-kick. He garnered much time for his dragon-armor to heal. Heloise complimented him.
“Right now, I am suppressing my power to the Gold Fourth Level. You are able to hold your own against me. If I ascend to Golden Rank Five, then I will be able to suppress you.
You’ve improved significantly in the last three months. The current level of your mastery of Titan martial arts is the limit for you at the Golden stage three. Further enhancement of martial power would require you to advance into the Gold Fourth Level.”
“I feel like I can still increase my power.” Behind Muria, a slender dragon tail buzzed with the sound of wind and thunder, lashing towards Heloise.
In the Dragon Titan Form, there would be a tail at your back. At first, Muria was not accustomed to using his tail in battle, and the Titan martial arts did not cover tail usage. Titans belong to the humanoid race, so there are no martial arts involving a tail.
However, under Heloise’s advice, Muria found a martial art from the inherited techniques of the Titan that involved the use of a whip for combat. Naturally, Muria started to use his slender tail as a whip for combat against Heloise, learning as he fought.
Every inch of the body can be a weapon, that’s the combat principle of the Titans.
Initially, after seeing Muria’s tail with a rhombic spear blade tip, Heloise immediately demanded that Muria learn to fight with it, seamlessly integrating it into his rhythm. She would not allow Muria to consider his tail as simple decoration.
“Indeed, this tail of yours can become more powerful.” Heloise coldly took on Muria’s tail strike and after taking a hit, she gripped onto Muria’s thorny spiked tail and violently slammed him onto the ground.
“With your current capabilities, after advancing to the Gold Fourth Level, you absolutely won’t lose to Michaela.”
“Heloise, I don’t want to use the Dragon Armor when combating Michaela, I want to use my Titan Form to fight.”
“Why?”
“It’s a bit unfair. Michaela has promised not to use any Legendary Weapons during the fight. Since she’s doing that, I can’t use the Dragon Armor to fight her either.”
“Given that your Dragon Armor is a byproduct of your bloodline, it is not an external tool. You do not have to give it up like Michaela.”
“But my Dragon Armor is extremely hard for those of my level. It can only be broken with absolute power.”
“As you wish, just make sure you don’t lose.”
“I am aware. I absolutely won’t lose this fight.”
“If you win, are you planning to pursue Michaela?”
“How did you know?” Muria looked at Heloise in bewilderment, subconsciously dodging her punch.
“Almost all the Titans know about it, why wouldn’t I?” Heloise switched from a punch to a palm strike. Her hand landed on Muria’s raised arm, the clanging sound of metal collision filled the desolate arena. Tiny arcs of lightning and shattering windblades scattered all around.
“Gerald, that bastard!” Muria growled out the name of the titan teenager. He thought he didn’t have to command the teenager to keep his pursuit of Michaela a secret, only to realize that his feelings for Michaela had become common knowledge within the clan’s land.
“Muria, if you win the battle, just go after her without reservations. We will help you with the rest.”
“Ok!” Muria paused slightly before nodding. But in the moment he paused, Heloise caught him off guard and flipped him over her shoulder, throwing him onto the ground.
“Argh!” After kicking Heloise aside, Muria hopped up from the ground like a carp. After readjusting his mentality, he locked in combat once again with Heloise whose strength was suppressed to Golden Rank Five, keeping at it incessantly.
Although Muria was always at a disadvantage and occasionally knocked down by Heloise, he was undeterred. For some unknown reason, he began to enjoy these oppressive battles more and more.

…
Days later, after engaging in a prolonged battle with Heloise in his Titan Form, Heloise, who had maintained a poker face throughout, suddenly broke the silence.
“Muria, Lord Ansalor will be returning from the Abyss soon. Be ready. I’ve told his lordship that when he returns, he will take you to visit some of the Epic Titans in the clan.”
“What!?” Taken aback by the sudden news, Muria lost track of the battle for a second, revealing his weak spot before being knocked down by Heloise, sending him crashing into the ground.
“That’s it for today. You better prepare yourself, Lord Ansalor will summon you in the next few days.”
Upon finishing her sentence, a teleportation array appeared beneath Heloise’s feet, emitting blinding spirit light.
“Damn it!” Muria spat out a piece of gravel which had landed in his mouth. He looked up at Heloise, who was about to disappear. “Wait, why do I always get my father’s news from you?”
This question had been plaguing Muria for a long time. After all, he was Lord Ansalor’s biological son. Why he always learned about his father through another Titan girl who bore no blood relation to him?
Heloise didn’t answer Muria’s question, because she had already disappeared within the teleportation spirit light.
