Chapter 1316: Chapter 1316: Graham Will Hidden in the Pearl

The fact that the Divine Dragon Tripod was in his possession was something Julius Reed did not want to publicize.

What if... it was fake?

How embarrassing that would be.

"Where did you get this thing from?" He reached out to grab it, tucking the Divine Dragon Tripod into his embrace.

It was still warm, perfect for warming himself up.

The chances were high that this cauldron was genuine.

But why would something even he had forgotten be in the hands of the old man before him?

"I am Graham Will. I imagine Ishmael Will has already mentioned things regarding Graham Will." The old man stood up, gently rolling up his sleeve.

There was a mark on it.

"Bead Pulse?" Julius Reed slightly furrowed his brows.

He had seen the mark of the Bead Pulse before.

This was not the mark of the Micah Will that was on Ishmael Will.

"Are you from the Bead Pulse?" Julius Reed stared at the old man before him, instantly connecting him with Isabella Warm.

Bead Pulse.

Warm.

A woman who stirred up complex emotions in him.

Julius Reed did not believe Isabella Warm would betray him, but all existing evidence seemed to point towards her.

"Not exactly." The old man smiled faintly, "I am of the Micah Will, just as Ishmael Will told you before, we are one with Graham Will. The Vein Holder of our Micah Will, in a sudden emergency, did not manage to designate a successor, leading to our lineage, which is loyal to you, being forced to act alone."

"But your body clearly bears the mark of the Bead Pulse." Julius Reed pointed at the old man’s arm.

Frigid snow and ice.

The old man’s skin was exposed, yet he did not seem to feel the cold at all.

Nor did his pores contract.

However, that was normal for a Grandmaster.

The physicality of their Martial arts made their bodies much more formidable than that of ordinary people.

"Could it be that Ishmael Will never mentioned this matter to you?" A hint of surprise crossed the old man’s face as he asked, "Did Ishmael Will show you the mark of the Micah Will?"

"Indeed." Julius Reed nodded without hiding anything.

Since the old man could deliver the Divine Dragon Tripod to him, it meant he knew a great deal about the affairs of Pendleton.

Even if he harbored ulterior motives, Julius Reed was not afraid.

Force was the ultimate argument, with the enhancement of the Sword of Hell, defeating the old man before him was not a problem.

"That boy Ishmael Will..." the old man chuckled, shaking his head and muttering to himself, "Still so cautious, huh..."

Boy?

Julius Reed was taken aback!

Ishmael Will was over a hundred years old and was being called a boy by the old man before him?

But then again, it seemed normal - calling the old man in front of him a boy would not be too much either.

After all, it’s hard to guess someone’s age in the martial arts world.

"Lord, Graham Will has been hiding within the Bead Pulse," the elder explained upon seeing the confusion on Julius Reed’s face: "No matter what, Micah Will is part of the Seven Veins. If we continue to stay in Micah Will, our existence is worthless. Therefore, my master led the remaining members of Graham Will to secretly infiltrate the Bead Pulse."

"There’s such a thing? Didn’t the Bead Pulse notice?" Julius Reed felt even more incredulous.

A group of people from Micah Will infiltrated the Bead Pulse, and the marks of Micah Will on Ishmael Will’s arm were very conspicuous.

Could it really go unnoticed?

"This matter is quite interesting when explained," the elder walked up to Julius Reed, pointing to the mark on his own arm: "Such a conspicuous mark, Bead definitely knew. This is also why we chose to join the Bead Pulse."

"Let’s hear it," Julius Reed was indeed intrigued by the old man.

The affairs of the Seven Veins were quite interesting.

Many people within the Seven Veins couldn’t figure out their relationships.

They talked about unity, but constant strife pervaded the Seven Veins.

They mentioned infighting, yet everyone still aimed to dethrone their current Lord.

"The Bead Pulse is ambitious and was the first to disobey the orders of Pendleton. Over the years, the Bead Pulse has stirred up divisions, assassinated members of the other five veins—of course, not daring to provoke the imperial vein. Among these five veins, many have been swayed by the Bead Pulse. Including the Vein Holder of the Sealing Pulse, Aziz Fairbanks, who once worked for Bead."

With that, he rolled up his sleeve and continued speaking: "Micah Will was also swayed. Therefore, my master found an opportune moment to lead half of Graham Will’s people to join the Bead Pulse. The other half stayed within Micah Will."

"So you’re saying you were poached by the Bead Pulse?" Julius Reed voiced out: "But why is the Divine Dragon Tripod in your possession?"

That was his main concern.

The Divine Dragon Tripod, coveted by countless people and constantly sought after by Isabella Warm.

How did it end up in Graham Will’s hands?

"The Divine Dragon Tripod was in the Bead Pulse. Over a decade ago, the Divine Dragon Tripod went missing, and the world saw a real and a fake one appear. At that time, the real Divine Dragon Tripod was quietly taken away under Bead’s orders, intended to be hidden in Gonzalez City. Four years ago, the fake Divine Dragon Tripod surfaced at Seven Clouds Academy, and as you know, the one in Tyler Thomas’s possession was indeed the fake one."

The elder pointed at the Divine Dragon Tripod cradled in Julius Reed’s arms: "The Vein Holder of Tyler Thomas was also bought by Bead, but he was defeated by me, and I seized the tripod! Worried about Bead’s retaliation, the Vein Holder of Tyler Thomas has been hiding in Swimming City, dare not to show himself. But before leaving, he left a message in Tyler Thomas, stating whoever obtains the Divine Dragon Tripod will become the next Vein Holder."

"So Tyler Thomas infiltrated Seven Clouds Academy in order to become the Vein Holder?" Julius Reed recalled Tyler Thomas, the man who had been lurking in Seven Clouds Academy.

Seemed like he had once been brothers with Devlin?

However, after the fall of Seven Clouds Academy, Tyler Thomas established Shadow Gate, while Devlin turned to Thunderpeak Hall.

"Exactly!" The elder nodded: "Devlin infiltrated Seven Clouds Academy with the goal of obtaining the Divine Dragon Tripod to restore his status as the Vein Holder of Sealing Pulse. You extended his life back then, but to prevent his treachery, you stripped Devlin of his abilities. Hence, he was unable to use even the Sealing Pulse’s treasured sword at your waist... the Sword of Hell."

"Bead is quite impressive," Julius Reed didn’t get angry but rather smiled: "To think that she managed to rope in the Vein Holders of Tyler, Sealing, and Micah Will to work for her."

"You forgot one, the Eagle," the elder added: "The father of Eagle was already killed by Bead’s schemes. The young Eagle has now become Bead’s hound."

"So you’re saying, Isabella Warm went to Swimming City to look for the Vein Holder of Tyler Thomas?" Julius Reed asked.

"Correct! The Vein Holder of Tyler Thomas lost the Divine Dragon Tripod and dared not show his face. But after much effort, he finally found the fake that went missing with the real Divine Dragon Tripod. Yet, in Swimming City, it was stolen from him, and flowed into the martial world; soon after, it was snatched by Rogan Harsh, and then returned to Seven Clouds Academy."

The elder nodded: "The fake one was intentionally lost under your instructions to Bead, to let it circulate out. But, why the real one ended up in Bead’s hands, I am not privy to."

"You’ve hidden it for ten years?" Julius Reed looked into the elder’s eyes. "Why didn’t you give it to me originally?"

"The time wasn’t right," the elder said with a slight smile: "Ten years ago, the entire Pendleton knew one thing."

"What is it?" Julius Reed asked.

"All of the Seven Veins knew very well. In less than three years, at most ten, something would inevitably befall you!" The elder answered calmly.
