Lewd skill in a filthy world-Chapter 30. Gossip
Chapter 30 - 30. Gossip
[+100 XP Gained for getting intimate with a woman]
[Level Up! → Level 5]
[Remaining XP: 70/100]
[Congrats! You've reached Level 5!]
[Reward: You've unlocked the FilthBound: Carnal Mastery System — a path focused entirely on domination, seduction, and sexual control.]
[Carnal Mastery Skill Acquired: Sexual Profile Lv.1] You can now peek into the hidden desires of your targets. This passive skill allows you to view a woman's physical and psychological arousal data.
[Note:] Skill will display clearer data the more intimate or emotionally attached your target becomes.
Shin stared at the notifications, his expression unreadable. He leaned back slightly, thinking.
So by leveling up... the system rewards me with skills. Skills that make it easier to conquer women without resorting to pathetic pickup lines.
A faint, wicked grin touched his lips.
Interesting. This might be exactly what I need—to seduce them and then steal their skills. Efficient and clean.
This world was unforgiving. It had became survival of the fittest. The strong stumbled. The emotional perished.
"Get dressed, Lilian. We're going back to your world," Shin said quietly.
Lilian quickly obeyed, picking up her coat from the ground, dusting it off, and pulling it on. Shin grabbed her hand and led her through the darkness of the night until they reached the gate.
He pulled her through—and nothing happened. No shock. No freezing like before.
Only another annoying notification of the system reminding him that for living in the safezones, 200 coins will be automatically deducted from his account daily.
He'd been here five days already. Between food, accommodation and other expenses, his balance had dropped from 5000 to 2,430 coins. Not ideal.
But today's experiment had paid off. He'd confirmed something important: he could take an NPC out of the Safezones, use them however he pleased, and not be charged like before—unlike that absurd 500-coin fee the first time with Lilian.
More importantly, he could level up. Gain skills to help him conquer women. All that was left now... was to start stealing from real ones.
Lilian took a deep breath of Safezone air, smiling. "Wow... I can feel the grace of God flowing through my veins again."
"Right..." Shin muttered, tone flat.
"I'm going to spend the night with you, Lord Divine Shade," she said, clinging to his arm.
Shin pulled away from her grasp. "Listen, Lilian. Don't tell anyone about the outside world. Don't speak a word about what happened. Act like nothing changed. Treat me like you treat everyone else."
Her face fell. "But... I want to always be near you. I want to be your guardian angel, I want—"
"If that's really what you want, then do as I say." His voice was sharp. "Now go. Go home."
She stumbled slightly as he pushed her away, then turned back for one last glance before walking off. Shin exhaled slowly, running a hand through his hair. Maybe he was too harsh—but sentimentality was a weakness he couldn't afford.
If she starts acting lovey-dovey in public, calling me 'Divine' like I'm her damn messiah... it'll draw attention. I can't have that.
With that, Shin walked away, disappearing into the quiet night and eventually returning to his room. He collapsed onto his bed, ready to sleep—until he started hearing sounds from the neighboring room.
It started with rhythmic banging and moans, followed by frustrated growls and a woman's irritated voice groaning in disappointment. A few seconds later, her door flung open.
"Don't ever show your face here again," she snapped.
BANG!
The door slammed shut.
Yuki, what a drama queen.
He drifted off.

The Next Morning
Shin woke up lazily, staring at the ceiling. For a moment, the comfort of old habits kicked in—back when his grandparents let him sleep in on weekends without guilt. But those days were long gone. He didn't have the luxury of wasting time anymore.
He pulled himself up... only to notice the obvious tent in his shorts.
Seriously? First thing in the morning?
To shake the boner off, he dropped to the floor and started doing push-ups.
"One... two... twenty-five... thirty-two... thirty-nine... fortyish..."
He collapsed, panting, the boner now history.
Forty push-ups. That was his limit. Still.
Pathetic. I need to break past that.
After a quick wash, he threw on his sneakers, slung his crossbag over his shoulder, and headed out.
Destination: the bars.
No better place to pick up local gossip than where the drunks gather.
He stepped into a crowded bar, took a seat at a rough wooden table, and a curvy waitress in a skimpy maid outfit approached with a practiced smile.
"What would you like today?" she asked sweetly.
"Cheapest dish you've got," Shin replied without looking at her.
A few minutes later, she returned with a bowl of rice porridge. Simple, but tasty—and rice was his favorite anyway.
He ate slowly, ears tuned to the noise around him.
"That moron deserved it! I don't feel sorry at all."
"Honestly, I thought what he did made sense. Who wouldn't ditch their wife and kid in the slums to live here in the Safezones? Any man would do the same. At least he didn't kill them."
"Spare me, bro. Ryan was scum. He got what he deserved. But he's wife was a stubborn one, I'll give her that. Forcing him into a double suicide. That's gutsy!!"
"Haha... but the brat they left behind is pure walking gold!"
Shin listened but kept his focus on the food. The gossip today was weak. No useful intel, no names that mattered.
Might be better off heading to the Bureau bar instead.
He finished eating up as the system deducted 2 coins. Dropping the empty bowl on the table, he left without a word to the next bar.
The Bureau was packed—twice as busy as the last place. He found an empty seat, ordered the cheapest wine available, and sipped while tuning into the surrounding conversations.
But what he didn't know was that trouble was locking in. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
Tony and his crew, who'd just come to the Bureau to register for housing, spotted him instantly. Tony's eyes narrowed as he pulled a crumpled photo from his pocket with Shin's face on it.
His gaze locked on Shin like a predator, and his hand clenched the photo into a tight, angry fist. It was him, no mistaking it.
He'd found him.
The brat who killed Gerald!
