As Blade entered the living room, he found the entire Titans team standing there, as if they had been waiting for him. Starfire, Beast Boy, Robin, and Cyborg—all of them eyed him with questioning looks.

Robin, arms crossed, was the first to speak:

"Blade... do you want to tell us what's going on?"

Blade lazily raised an eyebrow and replied coolly:

"Oh, what are you talking about? Are you referring to how I found out that the burrito I ate yesterday wasn't actually made of meat? Because that was a shocking day for me too."

Cyborg placed a hand over his face and sighed:

"Blade, focus. We're talking about you and Raven! Everyone has noticed the tension between you two, and—"

But Blade didn't let him finish—he simply raised his hands and gestured for silence.

"Listen... I appreciate your attempts at playing emotional detectives here, but I'm fine. Everything is fine. Raven and I are fine. You're fine. Everyone's fine. The Joker is probably not fine, but I don't care. So, are we done?"

The team exchanged glances. Beast Boy frowned slightly and said suspiciously:

"You're avoiding the subject, Blade..."

But he had no intention of getting dragged into this mess right now. So, he simply turned on his heel and headed toward his room, waving at them nonchalantly.

"Alright, team, this was a fun session, but I need some peace now. So, I'll be in my room, contemplating life, the universe, and everything... or maybe I'll just take a nap. We'll see."

As soon as Blade entered his room, he shut the door and threw himself onto the bed. His eyes were fixed on the ceiling while his mind struggled to untangle the emotions twisting inside him.

Why was this so complicated? He was used to being in control, always the guy who laughed in the face of chaos... but now, he was the chaos.

He turned his head to look at the wall where he had hung his weapons, and his eyes landed on the Joker's weapon, which he had kept as a souvenir. He smirked bitterly.

"Great... I managed to annoy Batman, mock the Joker, and escape from Slade, but I can't even handle one girl? What is this, a teen drama movie?"

He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. He knew he couldn't keep avoiding this, but the problem was... what was he supposed to do next?

His gaze drifted toward the window, where he could see the heavy clouds in the sky. The rain had started to fall slowly... and maybe, just like that rain, he needed to stop running and face things as they were.

But not now. Right now, he needed a little rest... and a snack.

"Oh, right... do I have any pizza slices left?"

The next morning

Blade woke up early, which was unusual for him. He didn't feel particularly energetic, but he knew he had something to do. He looked at the clock... It was still way too early—the entire team was asleep except for him. He decided this was his chance.

He quietly left his room, making sure not to make any noise that might wake Robin or Beast Boy. He headed straight to Starfire's room, stopped in front of the door, and knocked lightly. At first, there was no response, but then he heard a sleepy voice from inside.

"Who...?"

Blade didn't wait any longer. As soon as the door cracked open slightly, he gently pushed it the rest of the way and slipped inside quickly, closing it behind him. Starfire was still in her alien sleepwear, looking at him with half-lidded, surprised eyes.

"Blade...? Why are you here this early?"

He placed a finger over his lips, signaling her to lower her voice, then whispered:

"Close the door, and don't ask too many questions... Okay, just a few."

Starfire raised an eyebrow in confusion but didn't argue. She closed the door as he asked, then turned to him with curiosity, crossing her arms.

"Alright, what's going on? This isn't prank time, Blade."

He took a deep breath, then spoke with a seriousness that was rare for him:

"I need your help, Star."

That was when she started realizing this was more serious than she had thought. She stepped closer to him, concern in her voice.

"With what? Is there danger?"

Blade nodded slowly, then said in a low but clear voice:

"It's about Raven."

Starfire's eyes widened slightly, but her expression didn't show complete surprise. It was as if she had been expecting this. She sat at the edge of her bed and motioned for him to sit beside her.

"Alright... Tell me, what's on your mind?"

Blade gave a small, nervous smile.

He sat down at the edge of Starfire's bed, resting his elbows on his knees, and took a deep breath. It was rare for him to feel tense, but right now, he did. He looked at Starfire, who was patiently waiting, then spoke in a low voice:

"I want you to promise me... no, swear to me that you won't tell anyone what I'm about to say."

Sensing the gravity of the situation, Starfire straightened her posture and nodded firmly.

"I promise, Blade. I won't tell anyone, no matter what."

Blade sighed in slight relief, but he was still on edge. A few moments of silence passed before he finally started speaking.

"It's about Raven... Last night, I went into her room after she got mad at me. I thought she was just annoyed by my jokes like usual, but... something was different this time."

Starfire raised an eyebrow, listening intently. Blade continued in a lower voice:

"I didn't understand the reason at first, but when she started yelling at me, I felt something strange... like she was trying to hide something. She wasn't just angry—she was upset... bothered by me in a way I hadn't seen before."

He sighed, then looked at the ground, trying to organize his thoughts before continuing.

"Then, when I went back to my room, I started thinking... Could it be like you said yesterday? Could she actually... like me?"

Starfire gave him a small smile, as if she had expected this all along.

"You finally realized it, Blade."

He looked at her in surprise.

"What? So you knew?!"

Starfire chuckled gently, then said calmly:

"It's pretty obvious. I've never seen Raven act this way before, not with anyone else. But with you... she changes. She becomes more emotional, even if she tries to hide it."

Blade fell silent for a moment, then ran a hand through his hair, trying to process everything. Finally, he spoke in a confused tone:

"But... what do I do now?"

Starfire looked at him with warm eyes, then placed a hand on his shoulder.

"That's not a question I can answer for you, Blade. But if you care about her... and if you really want to understand her feelings... you need to talk to her honestly."

Blade remained silent for a moment, then exhaled and said:

"Talk honestly? I suck at that."

Starfire laughed and said:

"I know, but this time, you have to try."

Blade looked at her, then closed his eyes for a moment. This wasn't something he was used to dealing with... but he realized Starfire was right. It was time to face it himself.

Seeing Blade's hesitation and struggle to act, Starfire smiled kindly and said:

"Blade, I know you're a straightforward person... but when you talk to Raven, try not to be sarcastic all the time. Your jokes might be funny to us, but they might make her feel like you're not taking her feelings seriously."

Blade nodded slowly, trying to take in her words.

"Okay, that makes sense... but how do I even bring it up without looking like an idiot or making things awkward?"

Starfire thought for a moment, then said:

"Start with a simple question... Ask her how she feels, but don't pressure her to answer. If she avoids the topic or dodges the question, don't force her to talk—just make her feel safe and comfortable."

Blade frowned slightly, then sighed.

"This is tough... but I'll try."

Starfire smiled excitedly, then suddenly changed the subject and said with enthusiasm:

"And now that you're here... do you know what my favorite breakfast is?"

Blade raised an eyebrow, surprised by the sudden topic shift.

"Huh? No, but I'm sure it's something weird."

Starfire laughed and said cheerfully:

"I love 'Zalabigor'! It's a fantastic Tamaranian dish made of sour fruit, extremely spicy sauce, and a little bit of space honey!"

Blade stared at her in shock, then said sarcastically:

"Oh, great... A dish that combines sour, spicy, and sweet flavors... My stomach will definitely explode if I try it."

Starfire giggled and joked:

"I can make it for you if you'd like!"

"No, no, thanks! I'm barely dealing with my emotions right now—I don't need another shock to my stomach!"

They both laughed, then Blade stood up and said:

"Thanks, Starfire. I think I'll try talking to Raven... in my own way."

Starfire nodded eagerly as Blade left the room, thinking about his next move.
