Ethan muttered and his sword caught on fire but instead of charging towards the bear Ethan stood his ground with as he moved one of his legs backwards and launched his sword towards the bear.

The sword traveled with enough speed that the bear couldn’t react as the sword pierced through its skull.

Ethan quickly raced towards the bear to retrieve his sword when another bear spawned close to the last bear.

"What the...you said one of each tier" Ethan shouted as he stopped.

"You are a mage, fight without your sword" Maria’s voice echoed throughout the field as the bear charged towards him.

’Then I’ll finish this quickly [Lightning Bolt]’ Ethan charged towards the bear with both of his hands pointed at it.

From Ethan hands a bolt of lightning was created and struck the bear killing it instantly and Ethan quickly retrieved his sword.

’What the...’ Ethan muttered as a towering figure spawned few meters away from him, Ethan quickly closed his ears as the dragon unleashed a deafening roar.

A red dragon with scales shimmering like molten lava, with wings outstretched and eyes ablaze, the dragon set its eyes on Ethan.

"I thought you were doing this in order?" Ethan shouted.

"I didn’t want you to waste your strength, if you defeat this then the test is over" Maria replied.

’I’m screwed, I wanted to show her I was strong enough to defeat the other beasts so she’ll consider me even if I’m not strong enough to defeat the dragon’

(Well you can try, but I really don’t know how you can go about that, but the first thing you need know is that you should dodge all it’s flame attacks, don’t try to use your flame cloak because the dragon flame would be much stronger)

Ethan first conjured a barrier before jumping away from the flame so the barrier would at least slow it down a little, but as soon as the flame contacted the barrier it shattered to piece and the dragon didn’t stop as Ethan ran away from the flames putting his sword back into his storage ring.

The dragon wasted no time in chasing Ethan while still breathing fire all the way.

’Shit...how the heck is that possible, I’m definitely going to get killed’ Ethan muttered as he ran as fast as he could but no matter how fast he ran the dragon was still closing in.

(Take a stance and use your lightning bolt, I’m sure the dragon would stop attacking them you’ll have to find a way to defeat it, if that is possible)

Ethan turned around and immediately shot a lightning Bolt out of his hands which the dragon evaded and then stopped its flame flying even more upward, and more and more till it flew over the cloud and Ethan couldn’t see it anymore.
