Lust System: Monster girl Harem-Chapter 236 - 237 Something else
Chapter 236: Chapter 237 Something else
Ethan arrived at the dorm, noting the quiet surroundings. None of the girls were outside, so he quietly made his way inside, heading down the hallway until he reached his room. He pushed the door open gently.
"Who’s there?" Crystal’s voice called out, and she turned around just as Ethan stepped through the doorway.
"Ethan!" she shouted, leaping off the bed and rushing toward him, wrapping her arms around him tightly. Her excitement sparked movement from the others as Isabella and Hannah quickly followed suit, jumping from their beds to join the embrace.
"Where have you been?" Isabella asked breathlessly once they finally pulled away from the group hug.
Ethan smiled "I’ve been resting and recovering somewhere quiet in the academy. How have you girls been?"
"We’ve missed you," Hannah said, with a large smile on her face.
"I’ve missed you too," Crystal added, her eyes sparkling.
Ethan couldn’t help it as a smile formed on his face. He had missed them as well, more than he realized.
"Remember what you promised us before you left?" Hannah’s voice cut through his thoughts, a playful glint in her eyes.
Ethan chuckled softly. "I remember, but what’s it going to be? Kisses right now, or... something else later tonight?"
"Something else tonight," Isabella answered quickly, her eager tone causing Ethan to laugh.
Crystal grinned. "Yeah, I want something else tonight too."
"I also do" Hannah added, her voice tiny and barely audible.
Ethan hadn’t spent up to a minute, and they had already scheduled a foursome; since the girls were this eager, he couldn’t disappoint, and just the thought of it was already making his little brother stand.
"I heard there’s a tournament starting tomorrow," Ethan said.
"Yeah, it’s going to be a knockout-style tournament," Isabella replied. "Once you lose a fight, you’re out. But the top five students get to sit out till the final round"
"So, Edith, Freya, and the three of you?" Ethan asked.
"Not exactly," Crystal said, shaking her head. "I messed up, and Mabel ended up taking fifth place."
"Mabel Magnus? The girl both of us fought in the entrance exam?" Ethan asked, surprised. "How did that happen?"
"Isabella got cocky after she awakened her Ice Goddess Armor," Crystal explained. "We had a duel, and she won. Then I fought Mabel, and she beat me too. So now I’m sixth, Isabella is fourth, and Mabel came in fifth."
"Well, that’s a twist; you lost twice in a single day," Ethan said with a chuckle. "You thought you could beat her? Even Edith might have trouble with Isabella now."
Isabella smiled smugly but turned away, trying to hide it.
"I would have gotten my rank back, but the next day, we were told the ranking was over, and it’s going to be determined by a mini-tournament," Crystal muttered.
"You can still reach the finals in the tournament, so there’s still time," Ethan said.
Hannah chimed in, "We forgot to ask—how are your hands doing?" She glanced at Ethan’s hands, still wrapped in white bandages.
"They’re fine now," Ethan reassured them. "I haven’t regained all my strength, but I’ve started training again. It won’t be long."
"But why are your hands still wrapped?" Isabella asked, curious.
"I kind of like it," Ethan admitted. "It’s a reminder for me."
"So, what happened to you?" Isabella pressed. "We couldn’t get any answers from Miss Maria, and Freya asked her sister but got nothing either. What did this to your hands?"
Ethan hesitated, remembering he was told not to share details until Vala was dealt with. Telling the first-year students wouldn’t help much anyway, though the third-year students would be informed so they could prepare.
"I can’t say right now," he finally said, avoiding the question.
"We won’t tell anyone, was it an attack from another kingdom because I’m sure a beast can’t stab you with a sword?" Isabella spoke.
"I’m going to tell you when it’s time, not right now" Ethan replied.
"You know I’m going to find out right, during the mating season I’m going back to the palace, I’m still going to find out"
"If you do, then it’s fine," Ethan simply said.
"You think they’ll let you go back to the palace during mating season? You’re definitely joking," Crystal said.
"Of course not, I just want Ethan to tell me what happened, what if there’s going to be war, we need to be prepared"
"Even if the kingdom goes to war, we won’t be allowed to as first-year students," Hannah added.
"We’re not going to war because it’s not another kingdom; I’ll be right back. I’m going to see Freya and Martha in their room," Ethan spoke as he stood up from his bed and exited the room.
"Hey, we promised not to ask him what happened; you want him to remember he almost died?" Crystal spoke.
"Of course, I didn’t, but don’t you want to know what happened? How did Ethan end up with those injuries?" Isabella muttered.
"When he’s ready, I’m sure we’ll know" Hannah added.
Ethan knocked on the door since this wasn’t his room, and there were two other girls in there; Ethan didn’t know who Martha and Freya were staying with.
"Who’s there?" a voice asked, but Ethan didn’t reply.
"Martha please can you get the door I’m tired"
"I’m busy; I need to understand this before tomorrow," Martha spoke, and soon Ethan heard footsteps, and the door opened.
"Mabel!" Ethan muttered.
"You’re back; I thought you dropped out," Mabel asked, "What brings you here, or are you here to see me?" She asked.
"Not really, but I’m surprised you are now ranked fifth," Ethan spoke. Martha heard his voice and quickly turned around and saw him standing there.
"Ethan!!" Martha stood up and dashed towards him, Mabel moved aside as she hugged Ethan tightly. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
"How have you been?" Ethan asked with a smile on his face.
"When did you return? How are your hands? Are you back in the academy or did you just come to visit?"
