In a dense forest, a portal suddenly opened, and from it, Vala emerged with a satisfied smile on her face. She stepped onto the grass, feeling the cool breeze brush against her skin.

As if in response to her thoughts, a low growl echoed through the trees. Vala tensed, her sharp senses going on high alert. Her eyes darted around, and soon, she spotted movement among the thick bushes. A large wolf stepped into the clearing, its fur matted and dark, its eyes gleaming with hunger as it fixed its gaze on her.

It was a king-tier wolf, a powerful beast in its own right. But to Vala, it was nothing more than a minor nuisance.

The wolf snarled, crouching low before lunging toward her, fangs bared and claws outstretched. Vala barely moved as she sidestepped its attack with ease, her movements quick. She didn’t even need to use magic to deal with something as simple as this.

The wolf, frustrated by its failure, spun around and launched itself at her again, but this time, Vala didn’t bother dodging. Instead, she met the creature head-on, her hand shooting out with blinding speed to grasp the wolf by the throat. She lifted it effortlessly into the air, as if it weighed nothing.

The wolf thrashed in her grip, its claws slashing at her arms and chest, but its attacks were futile. Its claws barely left a mark on her skin. With a cold smile, Vala’s grip tightened, and the wolf let out a strangled whimper as its air supply was cut off. There was no mercy in her eyes as she brought the creature crashing down onto the ground, the impact cracking the earth beneath it.

Before the wolf could recover, Vala twisted its neck with a swift, brutal motion. The sickening snap of bones echoed through the forest, and the beast’s body fell limp, lifeless at her feet.

Vala stared down at the dead wolf, her chest rising and falling with the excitement of the brief fight. She knelt beside the body, thrusting her hand into its chest to extract the beast crystal.

Compressing the crystal with magic, she swallowed it whole, feeling a surge of energy flow through her. With little care, she began tearing chunks of flesh from the wolf and eating it, savoring the taste.

"Not bad," she muttered, wiping the blood from her hands. "But I still haven’t found everything I need."

Standing up, Vala placed her hands on the ground and cast a summoning spell. However, nothing happened. She frowned. It seemed that while she had been sealed, her red dragon had been defeated as well.

"So, even my dragon is gone..." she said quietly to herself. "What about the tower of trials."

She cast another spell, this time to locate the Tower of Trials, a bright light shone and dimmed after a while.

"So the tower is now underground, I wonder if anyone’s ever managed to conquer the tower after all these years," she mused, rising to her feet. There was much to do.

She had a plan, once the mating season is over she was going to attack the elves.

Her plan was simple yet devastating. First, she would attack the elves. She hated them, though not as much as she despised humans. A human had created her, used her for his own gain, and it was a human who had sealed her away for centuries. She had no forgiveness left for their kind.

She was first going to the demon kingdom since she knew demon shared the same fantasy with her, then after the demons attacks the elves, humans would run to their rescue and then she’ll attack the human kingdom.

Her plan was almost perfect. All she needed to do now was get through mating season, and she knew exactly where to start. A nearby human village would serve her purposes well. She was planning to slaughter the villagers, capture the males, and use them to satisfy her needs until the mating season ended.
