Marvel Cybernetic Girl-Chapter 330 Kamar-Taj
Chapter 330: 330 Kamar-Taj
When people think of sorcerers, the image that comes to mind is often completely at odds with the high-tech world of Iron Man, the Avengers, or S.H.I.E.L.D.
Instead, they seem more like they’ve wandered in from a neighboring fantasy set.
But in truth, dimensional sorcery is the art of manipulating the universe’s energy—it’s like editing the source code of reality.
Like science, it’s a way to observe and understand the world.
Yet unlike science, it transcends technological boundaries, reaching deep into the mysterious realms of the multiverse.
Dimensional sorcery originates from the ancient civilization known as the Vishanti.
In a sense, it’s not wrong to call it a kind of "technology"—just one whose principles have long been lost to time.
All that remains are ancient tomes of magic, offering glimpses into the immense power and mystery of the arcane arts.

Kagura was still deep in conversation with the Ancient One.
"So... what exactly do you need me to do?" Kagura asked. "Do I need to study dimensional sorcery here, just like Stephen Strange did?"
The Ancient One shook her head. "It would be wonderful if you developed an interest in sorcery, but I’m afraid we don’t have the luxury of time. We can’t wait for both you and Mr. Strange to reach a level of mastery sufficient to face the coming crisis."
"Hmm... is the threat from other dimensions already that urgent?"
The sorcerers’ primary mission was to protect Earth from interdimensional threats. Their greatest adversary: Dormammu of the Dark Dimension.
Kagura didn’t know what had changed in this world’s version of Dormammu, but clearly, something had.
For the Ancient One to believe that without her, the sorcerers stood no chance, meant it was serious.
But then again, the Ancient One could use the Eye of Agamotto to peer into the future. Her judgment was rarely wrong.
"Crisis could strike at any moment, Kagura," she said meaningfully. "The world is ever-changing. Even if we glimpse fragments of its secrets, we can never fully comprehend its flow. That’s why we must approach it with humility."
"Hmm... I don’t fully understand, but I’ll remember your words, Master."
"I trust you, Kagura. You’re a kind-hearted child," the Ancient One said with a gentle smile. "Now, back to the task at hand—your mission is to train Stephen Strange."
"Use whatever methods you deem fit, be it sorcery or science. The goal is to help him grow stronger, fast. Then support him through the challenges ahead."
Kagura tilted her head. "Huh?"
The Ancient One let out a soft sigh. "Let me put it simply. You could, for example, accelerate his understanding of sorcery through intense combat training. Do you understand now?"
"Oh! So basically, beat him up?" Kagura nodded in realization. "Got it! By the way, where is Doctor Strange anyway? Didn’t he just arrive?"
"Oh!" the Ancient One clapped her forehead lightly. "I completely forgot, You reminded me—ah, getting old... memory slips. I sometimes make little mistakes."
"...Huh?" Kagura squinted suspiciously. "What exactly did you forget?"
The Ancient One stood up and waved her hand, conjuring a magic circle.
Orange particles of light spun through the air, forming a glowing circular portal.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH—!"
A scream grew louder from the other side of the portal—Stephen Strange’s voice.
’Thud!’
"Ugh!"
A man in a black suit flew out of the portal and landed face-first on the floor. His body lay sprawled in perfect comic-book fashion.
"I was falling non-stop for thirty minutes straight!" Strange shouted.
"My apologies, Mr. Strange," the Ancient One said, bowing slightly. "Did you enjoy your little multiverse travel experience? I got so absorbed in my chat with Kagura here that I lost track of time. I’m just glad you didn’t get lost in the Quantum Realm."
"Ughhhh..." Strange groaned, rolling over onto his back. "Screw this... I wanna go home..."
"Pfft—" Kagura covered her mouth, trying not to laugh. "Master, if you mess with him too much, he might give up on sorcery and leave."
"I mean, his hands are fully healed now. The only reason he’s here is because I—uh, I piqued his interest."
"Don’t worry," the Ancient One smiled. "If he does give up... then I’ll just do everything I can to convince you to become the next Sorcerer Supreme."
"Eep..." Kagura grimaced. "Yeah, no thanks. I think we better focus on training Doctor Strange properly!"

Kamar-Taj — Dormitories
Before training could begin, there was the matter of getting settled in.
Under the guidance of another sorcerer, Kagura arrived at the door to the room the Ancient One had prepared for her.
"Miss Kagura, this will be your personal quarters," said the man, tall and powerfully built, with dark skin and a flowing robe. "My name is Karl Mordo—just call me Mordo."
He walked with a confident, martial stride, clearly someone of strength and discipline. One of the Ancient One’s most trusted disciples. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
"Although the Ancient One said you’re free to leave at any time and return to New York, we still thought it best to prepare a room for you."
"Thank you," Kagura nodded politely. "I’ve already left things in New York in the hands of Cortana and VEDA. I’ll be staying here for a while. I appreciate the accommodation."
"It’s no trouble. Just part of our duty," Mordo replied, pulling a slip of paper from his pocket. "Here."
Kagura took the paper and opened it.
Written in ornate, magical calligraphy was a string of letters and numbers.
"...Oh, is this the Wi-Fi password?"
"Huh?"
Mordo was clearly surprised by Kagura’s reaction.
"Ahem. Usually, when someone sees that, their first guess is that it’s some kind of spell or incantation. You’re the first person to instantly recognize it as a Wi-Fi password."
"Of course! Piece of cake!" Kagura grinned proudly.
"Sure, the place has this ancient, classical vibe, and your robes give off strong traditional Eastern aesthetics—but I’ve got every single piece of tech here figured out like the back of my hand!"
While Kamar-Taj was styled with vintage elegance, it wasn’t exactly cut off from modern society.
In fact, the tea room where the Ancient One held meetings had central air conditioning and an air purifier cleverly disguised as an incense burner.
The grand hall’s floor-to-ceiling windows were made of self-cleaning nano-glass, and silent air curtains were installed to keep insects out.
As Kagura strolled through the training grounds, she spotted sorcerers with Rhodes Island–brand smartphones tucked into their robes.
A glance through other dorm windows revealed tablets, game consoles, and even the latest tech craze: the "Hologram Butterfly" video game system.
At the entrance to the monastery, she even noticed a civilian-grade security alarm system—Rhodes Island’s newest 2016 model!
You guys really aren’t hurting for cash, huh?
So how on Earth did MCU’s Doctor Strange end up so broke he had to split a rice ball with Wong?
"To be that familiar with every electronic device... that’s truly impressive. So this is the power of science and technology?"
Mordo, typically a stern man, couldn’t help but smile faintly at Kagura’s insight.
"Haha, now I understand why the Master holds you in such high regard, Miss Kagura. With you on our side, I believe we really can get through this crisis."
