Marvel : I'm in Westview Town-Chapter 134
Chapter 134 - 134
"Finn, are you alright? You seem to be looking a little uncomfortable."
The Scarlet Witch noticed the strange expression across from her and immediately asked.
Given Finn's usual demeanor, such behavior was out of place—something had clearly unsettled him.
"It's actually silk..."
Finn took a deep breath, keeping the memory buried in his heart.
"What's the matter, Finn? Is there a problem?"
Wanda looked puzzled. To her, these silks seemed ordinary enough.
Finn turned and met her eyes, his tone heavy. "These... they belong to my country. Due to certain historical conflicts, these artifacts ended up here."
The Dark Witch—Wanda from another timeline—glanced toward her variant and nodded with obvious empathy in her gaze.
"I see... I'm sorry. I didn't know."
She shook her head slightly. While she didn't grasp all the details, she could feel from Finn's expression that the past held deep wounds.
"You're right. That incident... it caused too much pain. Seeing these silks now, it pulls me back."
Finn's voice was low, hoarse, his gaze locked on the fabrics.
"Finn..."
Wanda said nothing more. Instead, she held his hand firmly, the gesture conveying quiet understanding. Then, she reached for the hand of her darker self.
The three of them stood in silence for ten minutes.
"Let's go," Finn eventually said, voice steady. "It's just a bit of melancholy, not sorrow. That incident... it can't be undone."
"You're right," Wanda replied. "Let's appreciate what else this place offers."
She held their hands and led them forward.
Though she didn't know every detail, she sensed the weight Finn carried. And she felt a strange resonance within herself.
This time, neither Finn nor the Dark Witch resisted as Wanda guided them deeper into the exhibit.
The inner museum resembled a maze, its branching paths lined with exhibits rich in Americana. Flags, vintage memorabilia, and symbolic artifacts decorated the hallways.
There were no overwhelming displays—just quiet reminders of history and identity.
Time slowed.
They spent the next hour taking in everything the museum had to offer.
When they emerged, the setting sun cast long golden rays across the city.
The oppressive heat had faded, replaced with soft warmth that bathed their faces in peace.
Visitors trickled out, and some paused on the bridge outside the museum, taking advantage of the perfect light.
A sense of stillness settled.
"This is a good spot, Finn. Let's take a photo."
Wanda smiled at him, then grabbed the hand of the Dark Witch. She found the perfect angle and struck a pose.
The light caught their features, brushing their cheeks like a spring breeze. The wind blew gently around them.
"Alright, I'll take a few. I'm pretty good with a camera."
Finn blinked, then smiled softly. In that moment, he felt like a different person—carefree, without burdens. Just a young man standing under the sun.

A few minutes later, Finn waved them over. "Come check out the finished product."
The two witches ran over and eagerly took the phone from his hand.
They glanced at the screen and immediately burst into laughter.
"What are you laughing at? My photography isn't that bad."
Finn raised an eyebrow, taking the phone back to inspect the images.
"No, no, your skills are great," Wanda said, chuckling. "It's just... this is the first photo I've taken with her. It feels a little emotional."
The Dark Witch's face lit up as she looked at the picture, genuinely happy.
"You've never taken one with her before?" Finn asked, curious.
The Dark Witch shook her head. "No. Everything changed when he appeared. Plans unraveled."
Her voice dropped as the memory surfaced—painful and raw, even after everything.
"It's okay," Wanda said, smiling gently. "You have us now."
This time, she didn't tease. Instead, she leaned against the Dark Witch.
"Psst!"
The Dark Witch giggled and leaned into her in return. "Fair enough. You can be my sister."
"Oh? I see you're asking for a duel."
Wanda feigned offense.
On the bridge, under the golden glow of dusk, their laughter and playful banter painted a picture of joy—like characters in a painting frozen in eternal warmth.
"It's a good feeling," Finn thought, watching them. "If only it could last."
Night fell. The moon rose, casting its light across the city. A gentle breeze stirred the air, and New York glowed in golden brilliance.
"It's getting late. Let's find a hotel and get some rest."
Finn stretched lazily.
The two witches froze.
Finn noticed immediately and frowned. "What's with the reaction? Isn't it normal to find a hotel at night?"
"Don't say it like that!"
Wanda quickly turned her head away, memories of the hot spring incident surfacing—memories that still left a bit of soreness.
"Right. Let's just go. I feel so sleepy," the Dark Witch yawned. Her voice carried an air of exhaustion, like she could drop into sleep the moment she hit a mattress.
"Alright then. Let's get moving."
Not wasting time, Finn led the way.
Soon, they arrived at a five-star hotel in Manhattan and walked into the lobby.
"Good evening. How can I assist you?" the receptionist asked with a polite smile.
"Three people, one double bed room."
Finn answered simply.
The receptionist raised an eyebrow, clearly noting the two women beside him.
His eyes flickered with meaning but he said nothing, handing over the room card after a moment.
"Let's go. You both look exhausted."
The witches nodded and followed him upstairs.
In the city of superheroes, beneath the watchful glow of moonlight and the hum of distant traffic, the three stepped into a space far removed from battles and burdens—where for one night, history, war, and powers could be forgotten.
