Chapter 179 - 179 : Collision Of Passion! !
-
Endless and majestic energy burst out from Finn's body in an instant, making the entire space tremble violently, almost covering a radius of a hundred miles.
The earth quaked, and the boundless sea churned wildly, as if unable to withstand the storm of energy radiating from him.
Wave after wave of immense power surrounded him, converging on his body, as if he had become the very source of that limitless energy.
It was an explosion of brilliance that expanded in all directions.
"You can try this next."
Finn spoke coldly, as if yet another layer of power had been unleashed from within him. Even the demons that had been attacking could not endure the might of his blow during those ten fleeting moments.
"Human, you underestimate me. If I could be defeated so easily, I wouldn't be the leader of the Demon Faction. Don't think you're the only one hiding your strength."
With a guttural growl, the demon leader's entire form expanded rapidly. Like an avatar of slaughter, Foruo radiated oppressive energy almost perfectly proportional to Finn's own devastating aura.
In sheer energy output, he was by no means inferior.
His power surged again, dark clouds swirling above, crackling with lightning, as if heaven itself would be torn apart and everything reduced to ash.
"Only you?"
Finn sneered. "You're still too weak to matter."
With that, his figure burst forward in a radiant stream of light, the Sword of the Vishanti in his hand glowing with an edge so sharp it seemed ready to sever dimensions.
"Only you?"
The demon leader wasn't cowed. He charged at Finn with equal speed, equal ferocity, an unstoppable juggernaut.
Then it happened.
Boom!
Both forces collided at their zenith. Finn swung his sword with annihilating force, striking the demon's outstretched arm.
It clanged like steel against steel. It couldn't slice through.
Finn frowned.
"Seems like your expression finally betrays you," the demon leader said mockingly, his grin wicked. With a sudden movement, he grasped the Sword of the Vishanti.
Only a sharp crack followed.
The blade snapped in half.
Finn's gaze darkened. The demon's raw force had exceeded expectations. To break a Vishanti-forged weapon in a single strike was no small feat.
Fortunately, the sword was an astral construct summoned via Kamar-Taj sorcery. It held no permanent substance.
Even so, Finn felt the tides turning. The demon's power kept climbing. If this continued, even he wouldn't be able to hold out.
The worst part? Using true magic would reveal his secret mission. Once exposed, the system would deem it a failure, and all the hidden rewards he'd fought for would vanish.
"No. I can't let that happen."
Finn's eyes hardened. These obstacles weren't enough to break him. Not now.
If he failed, the Angels behind him would be lost to history. Worse yet, the demons would gain ground. Mephisto himself had already descended to Earth in pursuit of him.
No matter what, the Demon Faction had to be annihilated here and now. Any delay would give them time to grow—and if they joined forces with the mysterious entity looming beyond the veil, Earth wouldn't stand a chance.
He couldn't allow that future.
Finn bolted toward the horizon.
"Running? If you escape today, human, it means you're a true anomaly," the demon leader said with a chilling smile, his voice lowering the temperature of the realm.
He knew—let Finn live, and he would become the greatest threat to the Demon Faction.
Mephisto's last report had detailed everything. That only fueled his killing intent.
What followed was a chase through the outer planes, gods and ghosts alike watching from afar. Yet the demon still formed a massive sphere of chaotic energy behind him and hurled it toward Finn.
He wanted no survivors.
"You really think you can kill me?"
Finn stopped abruptly and turned. His face betrayed no fear.
Only cold calm.
"Try me."
The moment his voice fell, the demon's power hit him like a tidal wave. Fallen leaves scattered, and the air turned sharp with incoming destruction. No warning. Just carnage.
The demon's form blurred, racing toward Finn.
Boom!
Twin fists, wrapped in hellfire, punched forward. Flames engulfed everything, spreading like a plague.
Fire dragons coiled around the fists, roaring with voices from ancient realms, dragons of myth reborn to kill.
"You call that power?"
Finn shook his head. "Your mind is still so naive."
Then with a single motion, he unleashed a catastrophic sword strike. The energy soared through space itself, cracking reality, shaking the fabric of the world.
Boom!
The ocean raged.
Waves the size of towers surged toward the shore, smashing everything in their path.
In that instant, two colossal forces collided like celestial bodies. Explosions rang out across the cosmos, white light flooding the skies, too blinding to withstand.
Even time seemed to skip a beat.
Yet neither fell.
The shockwaves decimated everything within miles.
From the wreckage, Finn rose, breathing slowly, blood trailing from the edge of his mouth. He didn't care.
The demon leader floated across from him, a deep gash across his chest, eyes burning with fury.
But Finn... Finn smiled.
Because this was only the beginning.
If he was going down, he was taking them all with him.
